Dora Lee Adkins, 89, of Huntsville died Monday at a Guntersville nursing home. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with Barry L. Hallman officiating.
Mrs. Adkins was born and raised in Marshall County, but lived in Madison County for 70 years. She was a charter member of Latham United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Eaton of Huntsville; a brother, Gordon McDonald of Plano, Texas; a sister, Maymie Forrester of Guntersville; and one grandson, three granddaughters, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Duncan M. Anders
NASHVILLE - Duncan Milton Anders, 79, of Russel St. died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Olean Anders of Nashville; nine sons, Bobby Jo Anders, Jimmy Ray Anders, Don Anders and John Wallace Anders, all of Nashville, James Anders and Jerry Anders, both of Lavernge, Tenn., Rayford Anders of Asland City, Tenn., Raymond Anders of Hazel Green and Duncan Milton Anders Jr. of White House, Tenn.; two daughters, Dorris Pulley and Lillian Rodriguez, both of Nashville; a sister, Nellie Pennington of Huntsville; and 36 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Timothy Wayne Bertus
Timothy Wayne "Tim" Bertus, 34, of Huntsville died Tuesday at his home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements and will be in charge of burial.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Bertus of Huntsville; his mother, Marie Lightsinger of Huntsville; his father, Charles Bertus of Huntsville; a stepmother, Janie Bertus of Huntsville; a brother, Mike Bertus of New Market; a sister, Donna Kay Bertus of Huntsville; a stepson, Christopher Brady of Hazel Green ; a stepdaughter, Christy Barnes of Ardmore, Ala.; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Bertus of Huntsville; and four step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Alyne Bradford
Alyne Bradford, 88, of Huntsville died today at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at noon at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with Paul Vining and Randy Pyle officiating.
Mrs. Bradford was a member of Fanning Heights Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Ivan Bradford and Roger Bradford, both of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Ivan Burton Bradford Jr., Lee Bradford and Lucy Tucker; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.
Martha Butts
GUNTERSVILLE - Martha ''Susie Butts, 82, of 3813 Browns Valley Road died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Guntersville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Survivors include four daughters, Martha S. Baker and Sheila Baugh, both of Guntersville, Mary J. Rich of Birmingham and Janice Taylor of Montevallo; eight sons, Earl Bodine of Gardendale, John L. Bodine of Oneonta, Raymond Bodine, James Bodine, Kenneth Bodine and Dannie Bodine, all of Guntersville, Charles Baugh of Montevallo and Tim Baugh of Grant; one sister, Gurtha Huffstutler of Oneonta; and 38 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Ruby Lee Clark
HAMMOND, Ind. - Ruby Lee Clark, 81, died Tuesday in Dyer, Ind. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. James George officiating.
Mrs. Clark, a native of Jackson County, had lived in Hammond since 1952.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Hess of Gurley, Ala., Billie Brown of Bridgeport, Ala., and Carolyn Myers of Hammond; two sons, Bud Clark of Calumet Park, Ill., and Calvin Clark of Waukegan, Ill.; a brother, Junior Collins of Huntland, Tenn.; and 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Laurel Ann Crowe
DULUTH, Ga. - Laurel Ann Crowe, 37, formerly of Huntsville, died Sunday. The funeral will be private.
Bill Head Funeral Home will be in charge of funeral arrangements and burial.
Ms. Crowe, a native of Cedar Falls, Iowa, was a sales engineer for SGS-Thomson Microelectronics. She was a graduate of Iowa State University and was a member of the Georgia, East Tennessee and Mid-South Combine Training and Dressage associations.
Survivors include her parents, Dean and Janice Crowe of Cedar Falls, Iowa; a brother, Curtis Crowe of Lafayette, Col.; and three sisters, Pamela Steinman of Elizabeth, Col., Deanna Crowe of Thornton, Col., and Carol Crowe of Evergreen, Col.

Senhouse Drigo
Senhouse Drigo, 88, of 4917 Cotton Row in Huntsville died Sunday at his home. The memorial service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Oakwood College SDA Church with Elder John Nixon officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Ena Drigo of Huntsville; a daughter, Marva Drigo of Huntsville; a son, N. Jerome Drigo of Baltimore; and a sister, Jane Cornelius of Texas.
John Joseph Filippo
John Joseph Filippo, 77, of Huntsville died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Roman Mueller officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Filippo, a native of Italy, lived in the United States since he was 6 years old. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and a retired engineer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary K. Filippo of Huntsville; a daughter, Rosemary C. Filippo of Huntsville; a son, John V. Filippo of Madison; and three sisters, Concetta Malito of San Jose, Calif., Sylvia Miceli of Chicago and Lillian Bentrovato of Holiday, Fla.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with a vigil at 6 p.m.
Freddie Ronald King
LACEYS SPRING - Freddie Ronald King, 52, of Park Drive died Sunday at his home. A graveside service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in New Sharon Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home of Hazel Green in charge.
Mr. King was a native of Madison County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Lafayette and Annie Jacobs King.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Morgan of Madison; four sisters, Glenda Pierce, Peggy Patterson, June Britton and Beverly King, all of Hazel Green ; three brothers, Jackie King and James King, both of Hazel Green, and Jerry King of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Melba J. Ledbetter
Melba Joyce Ledbetter, 78, of Huntsville died May 13 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Bostick officiating.
Mrs. Ledbetter was a native of Texas and a Huntsville resident for 42 years.
Survivors include one son, Scott Hall ''Scootter Ledbetter of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rena McGee
HUNTLAND, Tenn. - Rena Faye Carlisle McGee, 92, formerly of Huntsville, died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with James McCaleb officiating.
Mrs. McGee, a native of Jackson County, had lived in Huntland for 8 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca A. Locke of Huntland; a son, Paul Carlisle of Decatur; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Vivian Sanders
SCOTTSBORO - Mrs. Vivian Sanders, 82, died Tuesday at a Scottsboro nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Arias Knight officiating.
Survivors include her husband, John Sanders; one sister, Flossie Davis of Scottsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Florene Snider
ANNISTON - Florene Snider, 93, of 1335 Green brier St. died Sunday, April 19, at an Anniston area hospital. The funeral was April 21 at First Baptist Church of Saks with Dr. Charles Owens and the Rev. John Holloway officiating.
Mrs. Snider was a Jefferson County native and lived in Anniston most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Saks, a member of the Philathea Sunday school class and a former Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace David Snider.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Rice of Huntsville and Bettie S. Houston of Heflin; three sons, Billy H. Snider, Paul F. Snider and Phillip D. Snider, all of Anniston; two sisters, Sarah F. Hartsell of Birmingham and Evelyn F. Chapman of DeBary, Fla.; a brother, L.E. Franklin of Birmingham; and 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

ANDERSON, Ala. - Leldon Maurice Thompson, 72, of 35810 County Line Road died Tuesday at a Florence hospital. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

TONEY - Lillie Mae Wilbourne, 84, of 282 Dollywood Drive died Tuesday at a local hospital. Madison Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Bethel M. Wilborn
HAMMOND, Ind. - Bethel M. "Beth" Wilborn, 65, died Friday at an Indiana hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Wilborn of Hammond, Ind.; two daughters, Barbara Sotak of Merriville, Ind., and Janice Bochucinski of Griffith, Ind.; a son, Henry Harvey of Portage, Ind.; her mother, Pearlie Mae Oliver of New Market, Ala.; five sisters, Frances Young, Emileen Pickett, Sophie Knotts and Joyce Bates, all of New Market, and Faye Conners of Mississippi; four brothers, Buddy Oliver, Bill Oliver and A.C. Oliver, all of New Market, and Joe Oliver of Fort Smith, Ark.; and nine grandchildren.
Dale M. Wills
RALEIGH, N.C. - Dale Marshall Wills, 39, died recently.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Capital Pentecostal Holiness Church in Garner, N.C.
Mr. Wills had worked for the Environmental Protection Agency in Research Trinagle Park since 1989. He graduated from Emanuel College and Kennesaw State College. He attended Capital Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Lynn Wills of Raleigh; a son, Dylan Michael Wills of Raleigh; a daughter, Leah Lynn Wills of Raleigh; his parents, James Ralph and Judith K. Wills of Huntsville; a brother, Glenn Wills of Birmingham; and a nephew.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
