RAINSVILLE - Ronald A. Andrews, 73, of Rainsville died Wednesday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd Smith and the Rev. McCoy Wooten officiating.
Burial will be in Old Sardis Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Andrews of Rainsville; three daughters, Judy Pendergrass of Powell and Janice Trotman and Carol King, both of Rainsville; two sons, Aaron Andrews and Gary Andrews, both of Rainsville; one sister, Leona Andrews of High Point; one brother, Harvey Andrews of High Point; and 11 grandchildren.
Willie H. Daniel
Willie Herman Daniel, 87, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local nursing home. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Daniel was a lifelong resident of Madison County.
Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Driver of White Bluff, Tenn., and Clara Taylor of Detroit; and several nieces and nephews.
Flora Davis
BOAZ - Flora Davis, 68, of 686 Gaines St. died Wednesday in a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Springdale Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery with Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Davis; two daughters, Nancy Sterling and Winnie Whitten, both of Boaz; a chosen daughter, Shirley Brooks of Boaz; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mary J. deKorsakoff
STUART, Fla. - Mary Jordan deKorsakoff, 90, died Saturday. A graveside service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery.
Madison Chapel Funeral Home and Young and Prill Funeral Home in Stuart arein charge of arrangements.
Mrs. deKorsakoff was a native of Huntsville. She was a teacher and was owner and operator of Bells Flowers in West Palm Beach.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Nino and Jane Peloubet, both of Stuart; one sister, Ella Frances Bell of Naples, Fla.; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
James Earskine
DECATUR - James Earskine, 79, died Sunday at a Decatur hospital. The funeral will be Friday at noon at St. James C.P. Church with the Rev. Theodore Bone officiating.
Burial will be in Sterrs Cemetery with Reynolds Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one son, Larry James Wallace of Newport, Ky.; seven stepsons, Howard Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Samuel Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Hosely Jackson and Millard Powers, all of Decatur, and Calvin Powers of Huntsville; seven stepdaughters, Belinda Taylor, Jessie Mae Mason, Connie Lane and Yolanda Powers, all of Decatur, Gloria Pettus, Annie Ruth Washington and Barbara Jacobs Golden, all of Huntsville; three brothers, William Holden and Joseph Green, both of Decatur, and Thomas Jolley of Trinity; one sister, Ella Mae Pickett of Decatur; and 35 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

BOAZ - Elsie I. Galloway, 82, died Tuesday at a Guntersville nursing home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann Jackson of Grant; one son, Robert Galloway of Boaz; one sister, Lelia Hall of Boaz; one brother, Fred Mayo of Albertville; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Lloyd Graham
GRANT - The Rev. Lloyd Graham, 85, of Carlton Click Road died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Hal MaHan officiating.
Burial will be in Free Home Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Earline Graham of Grant; and one half brother, Eldwin Tiptop of Florida.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Katie M. Hand
Katie Mae Hand, 67, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local nursing home. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Hand was a lifelong resident of Madison County and was a member of Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Burke of Harvest and Renee Osmer of Owens Cross Roads; three sons, Jimmy Murphy, Ray Murphy and Marcus Winkles, all of Huntsville; one brother, James Arnold Honea of Serrit; and 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Waymon B. Hill
GUNTERSVILLE - Waymon Burton Hill, 74, of 1552 Circle Drive died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Guntersville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Hill of Guntersville; one daughter, Kathy Cole of Albertville; one son, Fritts Hill of Illinois; one brother, Grayson Hill of South Carolina; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Elliotte Holland
ATHENS - Elliotte Holland, 77, of 103 Lindsay Lane North died Tuesday at a local hospital. A graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Athens City Cemetery with Dr. Steve Screws officiating.
McConnell Funeral Home was in charge of burial.
Mr. Holland was a native of Limestone County, a member of First United Methodist Church, an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific and European Theaters, worked in the family business, Holland Dairy, was a retired press operator after 32 years at Wolverine Tube in Decatur, and was president of Holland Land Corp. and Holland East Subdivision.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Bryan Holland; two daughters, Susie H. McCutchen of Athens, Ga., and June H. Mauser of Atlanta; one son, Steven E. Holland of Huntsville; three sisters, Katherine Mabry, Marcella Burns and Joyce Layman, all of Athens; and seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County or First United Methodist Church.
Charles M. Horton
Charles Monroe Horton, 80, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Horton was retired from South Central Bell, a member of Twickenham Church of Christ and was preceded in death by his wife, Nadene Horton; and one son, Roe Horton.
Survivors include one son, Mark Horton of Huntsville; two brothers, Tommy Horton of Russellville and Johnny Horton of Killen; two sisters, Bobbie Ruth Williams and Sue Tucker, both of Sheffield; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

DARDEN, Tenn. - John Hughes, 81, died Tuesday in Jackson, Tenn. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in Rainsville with the Rev. Roy McNutt officiating.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Pisgah.
Mr. Hughes was formerly of the Rainsville area.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Smith of Rainsville and Martha Stansbury of Huron, Tenn.; three sons, Leon Hughes of Tiftonia, Tenn., John Julian Hughes of Darden and James Barry Hughes of Jasper, Ga.; one sister, Cora Fisher of Scotts Hill, Tenn.; and 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mary D. Jacobs
Mary Daniel "Bert" Jacobs, 79, of Huntsville died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Flint River Running Water Consolidated Memorial Tabernancle with Elder Ross L. Payton officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one sister, Katherine Lacy of Huntsville; and two brothers, Joe Walter Daniel and Caleb Daniel Jr., both of Huntsville.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
William O. Johnston
JEFFERSON, Ala. - William Owen Johnston, 58, of 1293 Pinhook Road died Sunday, Jan. 10, at his home. The funeral was Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Jefferson Methodist Church with Dr. Robin Simms and the Rev. Stephen Collins officiating.
Burial was in Central Cemetery in Central with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis in charge.
Survivors include one son, Ellis Cade Johnston of Huntsville.
Lillian L. King
Lillian Louise King, 87, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mrs. King was a native of Winchester, Tenn., but spent most her life in Madison County. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and was retired from Winn Dixie after 22 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda K. Treece of Huntsville, Juanita K. Lang of Knoxville, Tenn., and Ramona K. Payne of Athens; one son, Boyd Raymond King Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Della Baker of New Market; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Earline B. Lightfoot
Earline Briggs Lightfoot, 70, of Huntsville died Monday. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Syler Tabernacle with Elder Billy Brewton officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include her husband, Moses Lightfoot Sr. of Huntsville; two sons, Moses Lightfoot Jr. and Thomas J. Lightfoot, both of Huntsville; three daughters, Elaine Chunn, Linda J. FLORENCE - John L. Quigley, 83, died Tuesday. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Green view Memorial Park.

Mary L. Ewing Robinson, 62, of 4300 Blue Spring Road in Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Northwest Church of Christ with Bro. John Branch officiating.

PULASKI, Tenn. - Denise M. Rowan, 46, of 750 Snuff Branch Road died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at First Seventh-day Adventist Church with Elder Moses Mason officiating.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Rowan was the religious liberty leader at the Fayetteville, Tenn., Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph E. Rowan of Pualski; three daughters, Erika D. Rowan, Shawna Marie Litaker and Crystal Yvonne Rowan, all of Pulaski; one sister, Yvonne Mickens of Louisville, Ky.; one brother, Ronald Henderson of Louisville; and three grandchildren.

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Mamie Scott, 97, of 511 North Lincoln St. died Wednesday at a Fayetteville nursing home. The graveside service was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Bro. Joe Tomlinson officiating.

Mrs. Scott was a retired bookkeeper.

ANDERSON - Inez Viola Sinyard, 80, of County Road 52 died Tuesday at a Florence hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Anderson with Mark Stokes and Eddie Garner officiating.
Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home of Athens in charge.
Mrs. Sinyard was a native of Limestone County, a retired teller at SouthTrust Bank in Anderson and was a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Williams of Anderson; one son, Larry Sinyard of Anderson; two stepbrothers, Grant Grisham and Jimmy Grisham; and four grandchildren.
Victoria T. Stewart
Victoria Tanner Stewart, 98, of Huntsville died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Robert Leslie officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.
Survivors include three granddaughters, Adeline Harris, Ruth Humphrey and Barbara Robinson, all of Huntsville; three grandsons, Jeff Robinson and Joe Robinson, both of Huntsville, and J.D. Robinson of Columbia, S.C.; and 14 great-grandchildren, six great-great-granchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
Robert T. Strong Jr.
MADISON - Dr. Robert T. Strong Jr., 67, died Wednesday at his home. The memorial service will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Madison Christian Church with the Rev. George Wagner officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Dr. Strong was a member of Madison Christian Church, a Korean War Army veteran and retired from civil service at Fort McClellan in Anniston. He received his doctorate from the University of Utah.
Survivors include his wife, Velma G. Strong of Madison; one daughter, Sharon Strong Sajjadi of Huntsville; two sons, Robin L. Strong of Wimberly, Texas, and Roger L. Strong of Richardson, Texas; two sisters, Wanda Rascoe of Shreveport, La., and Elizabeth Mann of Largo, Fla.; one brother, Horace L. Strong of Shreveport; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor was a native of Memphis, Tenn., a housewife and a member of Mayfair Church of Christ.

ALBERTVILLE - Robert Walker, 76, of 211 Forrest Valley Drive died Tuesday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Guntersville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in High Point Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard C. Walker.

SCOTTSBORO - James Watson, 67, died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Hardeman officiating.
Burial was to be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.

SWEETWATER, Tenn. - Mrs. Betty J. Westmoreland, 61, died Saturday in Pontiac, Mich. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Rev. Jimmy Thomas officiating.
Mrs. Westmoreland was a member of the Pathway Church of God in Pontiac and was retired as a clerical assistant in the Pontiac School District.
Survivors include three daughters, Darlene Elgie of Fort Myers, Fla., Brenda Gamblin of Lapeer, Mich., and Rossi Martin-Heath of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sons, James Westmoreland Jr. of Pontiac and Melvin Baker of Pontiac; one sister, Faye ODaniel of Athens, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

CHATTANOOGA - James A. Wilks, 82, died Tuesday. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with Elders Herbert Chapman and Greg Phillips officiating.
Burial was to be in Fuller Cmetery in Ider.
Mr. Wilks attended Fairfiew Primitive Baptist Church and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Little Wilks; and several nieces and nephews.
