BOAZ - Thomas Roger Claborn, 54, of 1366 Old Jordan Road died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Claborn of Attalla and Quenton Claborn of Boaz; mother, Ida Claborn of Boaz; one sister, Anita Grimes of Boaz; and two brothers, Donald Claborn and David Claborn, both of Albertville.
Jimmie Couch
Jimmie Lee Walker Couch, 87, of Huntsville died Monday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Morgan City.
Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Couch was a native of Madison County and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James Raleigh Couch of Douglasville, Ga., and Billy Joe Couch of Riverdale, Ga.; one daughter, Mary Vaughn of Many, La.; and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 3:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Her body will be at the church 30 minutes before the funeral.
Horace Fanning
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Horace Fanning, 69, of Hilltop Road died Sunday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Gay and Gene Fanning officiating.
Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery in Fayetteville with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Fanning was a native of Madison County, retired from Barber Coleman Co. and was a deacon at Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Allie Mae Sharp Fanning of Fayetteville; two daughters, Janice Hunter of Meridianville and Nance Anderson of Flintville, Tenn.; one son, the Rev. Harold Fanning of Decatur; two sisters, Elizabeth Gray of Okeechobee, Fla., and Frances Gifford of Estell Fork; and six grandchildren.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Memorial donations may be made to the Prospect Baptist Church building fund.
Herdelene R. Feltman
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Herdelene Rose Feltman, 91, of Tate Road died Monday at a Fayetteville nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel in Hazel Green with Dr. Leon Chambers and the Rev. Steve Wood officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.
Mrs. Feltman was a native of Cullman, a member of the Church of the Nazarene and a housewife.
Survivors include one son, Jim Tate of Fayetteville; one sister, Mable Murphy of Decatur; and five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two nieces.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Curtis C. George
FORT PAYNE - Curtis C. George, 76, died Monday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Mount View Memorial Garden with the Rev. Kennith Johnson officiating.
W.T. Wilson Funeral Home in Rainsville is in charge of burial.
Survivors include three sisters, Lucille Williams of Henagar, Ima Buttram of Good Water and Martha Hall of Troy; and five brothers, J.T. George of Fort Payne, Floyd L. George of Sylvania, Edward George of Gadsden and Jimmy J. George and David R. George, both of Trenton, Ga.
Harold E. Hall
BOAZ - The Rev. Harold Edward Hall, 93, died Sunday at his home. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz.
The Rev. Mr. Hall was a retired minister and missionary.
Survivors include one daughter, Rosalie Hunt of Guntersville; one son, Arthur Hall of California; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
David M. Hamaker
LACEYS SPRING - David Michael Hamaker, 22, of 20 Hughes Circle died Sunday. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Rescue Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Dewey and Linda Hamaker of Union Grove; fiancee, Carla Peacock of Laceys Spring; one sister, Tina Hamaker of Laceys Spring; one brother, Danny Hamaker of Laceys Spring; grandparents, Frank and Nancy Hamilton of Blountsville and Melvin and Lillie Hamaker of Union Grove; and great-grandmother, Beedie Fuller of Huntsville.
Margaret E. Holder
HARVEST - Margaret E. Holder, 86, died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with Tommy Rosenblum officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Holder was a member of the Church of Christ and a licensed practical nurse.
Survivors include one son, James Holder of Harvest, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donna F. Jones
Donna Frances Jones, 50, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. No funeral is planned.
Mrs. Jones was a native of Gadsden and had lived in Huntsville three years. She worked at Gibson BBQ.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer L. King of Huntsville and Lindie Worden of Vancouver, Wash.; her father, Elton E. Collins of Jones, Ala.; one brother, Jack E. Collins of Trafford; one sister, Sally Sieve of Detroit; and three grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Larry R. Miller
PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Larry Ray "Smokey" Miller, 49, died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bill Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Miller was a native of Huntsville and was a retired floor finish construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Miller of Panama City; one son, Billy Ray Miller of Los Angeles; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Hegwood of Huntsville.

Junior G. Mooneyham
FLAT ROCK - Junior Gene Mooneyham, 63, died Monday in Trenton, Ga. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. Dan Kirkpatrick officiating.
Burial will be in Paynes Chapel Cemetery in Flat Rock.
Survivors include one sister, Pauline Holcomb of Flat Rock; and one niece, Frances Frazier of Trenton.

Larry M. Nichols
TONEY - Larry Monroe Nichols, 57, died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Bro. Otis W. Graves officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Nichols was a native of Ashville, N.C., and a Vietnam veteran. He lived in Huntsville since 1979.
Survivors include one brother, Kenneth D. Nichols of Scottsdale, Ariz.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Rachel G. Patterson
ATHENS - Rachel Gaston Patterson, 59, of 1509 West Market St. died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Havens III and Kasey Harbin officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Patterson was office manager at Automotive Parts Co. and had worked at Regions Bank 35 years. She was a member of Ladies Civitans and was a Hospice of Limestone County volunteer.
Survivors include her husband, George R. Patterson of Athens; one daughter, Nicole P. Beasley of Athens; one son, G. Brian Patterson of Athens; her mother, Susie Gaston of Lester; one brother, David Gaston of Athens; one sister, Mildred Thompson of Lester; and four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Arnold S. Pettus
Arnold Steve Pettus, 89, of Huntsville died Monday. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the O.K. Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
Burial will be in the O.K. Cemetery with Pettus-Tumbo Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Pettus was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Treptau Pettus; and one son, Kenneth Pettus.
Survivors include one daughter, Anne Ondrak of Huntsville; three sisters, Mary Johnston of Lawrenceburg, Agnes Mabry of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and Ruby Mabry of Summertown, Tenn.; two brothers, Edward Pettus of Charleston, S.C., and Hassell "Jake" Pettus of Lawrenceburg; and nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

BRIDGEPORT - Jessie Lee Rogers, 88, died Sunday at a Jasper, Tenn., hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Rev. Jim Bernard officiating.
Burial was to be in Pinehaven Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood.
Survivors include one daughter, Anna Hughes of Bridgeport; two sons, Bobby Rogers of Stevenson and Joe Rogers of South Pittsburg, Tenn.; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Myrtle Selvage
ARAB - Myrtle Selvage, 74, of 1054 Hulaco Road died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Joppa Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include her husband, Ulas Selvage; one daughter, Brenda McEachern of Pinson; one son, Brian Selvage of Pelham; one sister, Juanice Butcher of Huntsville; four brothers, Glen D. Chambers and Quinton Chambers, both of Arab, and Kyle Chambers and John Chambers, both of Birmingham; and six grandchildren.

ATHENS - Ruby Melvine Carter Tennison, 87, of 412 South Houston St. died Sunday at an Athens hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens with Randy Carter and Ed McCracken officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Tennison was a native of Limestone County and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cullen Tennison; and one son, Bob Tennison.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Ann McGuire of Athens; one son, James B. Tennison of Athens; one sister, Virginia Carter Pepper of Huntsville; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his spouse, Mable Wisener of Laceys Spring; two sisters, Pauline Morrison of Grant and Buna Mae Stapler of Huntsville; two brothers, Charles Thompson of Huntsville and Dave Thompson of Grant; seven stepdaughters, Debbie Broad of Toney, Sheila Browning and Kay Duncan, both of Laceys Spring, Joan Davis and Lucy Smith, both of Athens, Diane Gore of Union Grove, and Mary Martin of New Hope; and one stepson, Dale Wisener of Athens; and 13 grandchildren.

ARAB - J.B. Williams, 73, of 551 South Main St. died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Iveylean Williams; two daughters, Barbara Smith and Diana Corbin, both of Arab; one son, Walter A. Sloan Jr. of Arab; one brother, Calvin Williams of Arab; and 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

BOAZ - Mary Jo Young, 81, of 1000 Lackey Gap Road died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill No. 1 Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Boaz with Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas E. Young and Joe S. Young, both of Boaz, and Conrad Young of Scottsboro; one half-sister, Eula Rigsby of Boaz; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
