William G. Adams
ARDMORE, Tenn. - William Grady Adams, 57, of 26910 Elk St. died Thursday at a Nashville hospital. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Hiawatha Battle
DETROIT - Hiawatha Battle died Tuesday at a Detroit hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Bartley Primitive Baptist Church with Dr. William T. Gladys officiating.
Burial will be in Big Cove Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Battle was formerly of Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Battle of Detroit; two daughters, Andrea Battle of Chattanooga and Nifiah Battle of Detroit; four sons, Jerry Battle, Terry Battle, Eric Battle and Hiawatha Battle Jr., all of Detroit; his mother, Clara Mae Burton of Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Gloria Conley and Diane Burton, both of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren.

Audean M. Baugh
RAINSVILLE - Audean Mitchell Baugh, 89, died Wednesday. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Revs. Charles Willmon and Gary Haymon officiating.
Burial was to be in Kirk Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Baugh, a native of Hamilton County, Tenn., moved to Alabama in 1928. Twenty years later, she and her first husband, Curtis Orville Mitchell, established the Old Straight Creek Church in Rainsville.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Baugh; three daughters, Ruby Jones, Bobbie Kuykendall and Eva Wood, all of Rainsville; three sons, Billy Jack Mitchell and Paul David Mitchell, both of Rainsville, and Larry Bruce Mitchell of Dalton, Ga.; one brother, Clinton Smith of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; and 10 grandchildren.

Dr. E.A. Browder
STEVENSON - Dr. E.A. Browder, 86, died Thursday at a Jackson County hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Revs. Charles Hughes and James Tisdale officiating.
Burial will be in Stevenson City Cemetery.
Dr. Browder attended medical school at the University of Tennessee and served his internship at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He began his medical practice in 1937 and delivered about 5,000 babies by the time he retired in 1974. After retiring, Dr. Browder continued to make house calls to elderly patients.
He was appointed to the Jackson County Hospital Board when it was formed in 1951. While serving on the hospital board, he was instrumental in the construction of Jackson County Hospital in Scottsboro in 1955 and North Jackson Hospital in 1959.
Dr. Browder was awarded Civic Club Man of the Year in 1950. The Browder Medical Clinic in Stevenson was opened and dedicated to him in 1980.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Clemons.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Thornton Browder; four daughters, Amelia Browder, Jessica Browder and Judith Browder, all of Stevenson, and Celia McKee; and three grandchildren.

Ernest Coleman
TRIANA - Ernest Coleman, 81, of 266 Lakeside Drive died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Triana Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Childress officiating.
Burial will be in Triana Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three nieces, Mattie Parker of Triana and Tometta Rice and Earline Davis, both of Huntsville; and one nephew, Oliver Lee Gideon of Rockford, Ill.

Edna H. Drake
MERIDIANVILLE - Edna Harwell Drake, 82, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. David Hammond and Jason Strong officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Drake attended North Hills Presbyterian Church and was a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Drake.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Drake Thomas of Meridianville; one sister, Frances H. Reynolds of Huntsville; one granddaughter, Jana Thomas Giese of Georgia; and two great-granddaughters, Abby Giese and Emily Giese, both of Georgia.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the North Hills Presbyterian Church building fund.

Florence I. Fazzi
ATHENS - Florence Irene Fazzi, 69, of Douglas Drive died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with the Rev. Joseph Allen officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Fazzi was retired from the Cook County, Ill., District Attorneys office and attended St. Pauls Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Hester of Henderson, Tenn.; five sons, Ezio Fazzi of Denver, Casimir Fazzi of Barrington, Ill., Robert Fazzi of Bloomingdale, Ill., Julian Fazzi of Lombard, Ill. and Douglas Fazzi of Bensenville, Ill.; and 17 grandchildren.

Rebecca M. Ford
Rebecca Marie Ford, 63, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Douglas Tabernacle with Elder Robert Rogers officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Faye Ford of Huntsville; two sons, Kenneth Ford of Huntsville and Vincent Ford of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Tillman Oliver Jr. of Huntsville; five sisters, Ethel Birdsong Huntsville, Dorothy Oliver of Chattanooga and Clara Moore, Mildred Johnson and Peggie Mobley, all of Detroit; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

John R. Gray Jr.
BESSEMER - John Rayford Gray Jr., 51, died Thursday at a Birmingham hospital. A private service is planned.
Valhalla Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Survivors include three sons, James R. Gray of Elmore County and John R. Gray III and Daniel Gray, both of Birmingham; three sisters, Jean Gray Calvert and Patricia Gray Cook, both of Huntsville, and Virginia Gray West of Claysville; three brothers, James H. Gray, Roger D. Gray and Billy Wayne Gray, all of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Childrens Hospital of Alabama.

Karlin Henze
BIRMINGHAM - Karlin Henze, 30, died Wednesday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at noon at All Saints Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith Cook officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include her parents, Drs. William and Reet Henze of Huntsville; one sister, Jennifer Otto of Tuscon, Ariz.; one brother, William Henze III of Irving, Texas; her grandmothers, Helen Henze of Philadelphia and Helgi Lind of Taylors Falls, Minn.; her companion, Earl Talley of Birmingham; and two aunts, one uncle, one niece and three cousins.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Cordie L. LeCroy
ARAB - Cordie Lesie LeCroy, 80, of Arab died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Diana Willingham of Arab; one son, Ray LeCroy of Arab; two sisters, Willie Mae Milazzo of Maine and Bertha L. Langford of Florida; three brothers, Theron Tanner of Hopewell, Marshell Tanner of Florida and Chalmer Tanner of Texas; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

James R. MacLean
HARVEST - James R. "Mac" MacLean, 65, died Thursday at his home. The memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel.
Mr. MacLean was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was also a security guard at Chrysler Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Joan MacLean of Harvest; one daughter, Tina Goodwin of Huntsville; two sons, James Robert MacLean II of Cullman and Jeffrey MacLean of Huntsville; one sister, Betty Atkins of Oswego, N.Y.; two brothers, Sidney MacLean and Jack MacLean, both of Oswego; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Care in Huntsville.

Arbia McLin
ATHENS - Arbia Lee Thompson McLin, 70, died Thursday at an Athens hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Soloman Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Tanner.
Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery in Tanner with Mason Funeral Home in Athens in charge.
Survivors include three sons, Milton McLin, Larry McLin and Donnell McLin, all of Athens; four daughters, Dorothy Hobbs, Barbara McLin, Lillie McLin and Joycelyn McLin, all of Athens; and her mother, Mazzie Thompson of Tanner.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Kyneth A. Noble
Kyneth Alonzo Noble, 70, of 4102 Darby Court in Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. James Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Jones officiating.
Royal Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Noble was owner and operator of Wash and Fold Laundromat at 2302 Governors Drive.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Noble of Huntsville; one stepdaughter, Jacqueline Loran of Ruston, La.; two sons, Kyneth Noble Jr. of Romulus, Mich., and Lon C. Noble of Detroit; his mother, Evelyn Taylor of Ardmore, Tenn.; one brother, Leo Noble of Compton, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Those who wish to send flowers may select potted plants for the home.

James W. Owens
FACKLER - James Wilson Owens, 73, died Thursday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Rev. Howard McCallie officiating.
Burial will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Kerrigan of Altamont Springs, Fla., and Judy Palmer of Hammond, Ind.; four grandchildren; and a special friend, Leota Lancaster of Stevenson.

Carl M. Pritchett
HOLLYWOOD - Carl Mack Pritchett, 84, died Wednesday. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Revs. Howard McCallie, Bill Pace and Wallace Sumner officiating.
Burial will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
Mr. Pritchett was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church and the Scottsboro Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Leola Pritchett; two daughters, Jimmie Galloway of Section and Betty Shelton of Marietta, Ga.; one son, Carl Edward Pritchett of Hollywood; two sisters, Eveyln Payne of South Pittsburg, Tenn., and Beatrice Pelham of Bridgeport; four grandchildren; and two special friends, Jason Heard and David Holiman.

Vester L. Steele
STEVENSON - Vester Lucille Steele, 81, died Thursday. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with Howard McCallie officiating.
Burial will be in Price Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Sue Matthews of Stevenson; two sons, Bobby Steele and Ben Thomas Steele, both of Stevenson; one sister, Naomi Bunch of Alliance, Ohio; four brothers, Bill Batey, Aubrey Batey, Edward Batey and Leonard Batey, all of Scottsboro; and 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
