Marie Clemons
Marie Clemons, 79, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at First Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Benjamin Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include seven daughters, Earline Richmond of Chicago, Johnn Johnson of Frankfort, Germany, Estella Langford of Simi Valley, Calif., Margaret Patton of Hazel Green, Mary Hicks Lyles, Theresa Rice and Joyceanta Wilson, all of Huntsville; six sons, Rev. Horton Matthews of Athens, Rev. George Bell of Los Angeles, Robert Earl Finnell of Chattanooga, Roylee Clemons of Florence, Lee Roy Clemons of Huntsville and Anthony Clemons of Kansas City, Kan.; one sister, Mildred Turner of Huntsville; one brother, Aquillie Lee Clemons of Omaha, Neb.; 47 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
The church will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Frankie R. Eakes
TAFT, Tenn. - Frankie Ray Eakes, 37, died Friday at an area hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Father Tom McElhinney officiating.
Burial will be in Campbell Cemetery with Higgins Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his mother Linda McGehee Hamilton of Fayetteville; his stepfather, Major Hamilton of Fayetteville; one daughter, Shanda Leann Eakes of Taft; two brothers, Mark Anthony Eakes of Sugarland, Texas, and John Christopher Eakes of Mooresville, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.

Phillip A. Hollt
COLUMBUS, Miss. - Phillip A. Hollt, 19, died Friday at his residence. Madison Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Richard S. Jacobs
Richard Stanley Jacobs, 62, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Spry Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Holbrooks officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Cullman.
Mr. Jacobs was a native of Duluth, Minn., and had lived in Huntsville since 1971. He was the manager of American General Finance, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of Madison United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Reba Smith Jacobs; one son, Stan Jacobs of Huntsville; one daughter, Stephanie Clay of Huntsville; one brother, Ed Jacobs of Florida; six sisters, Mary Kay Mulvihill of Illinois, Donna Peterson, Jan Bishop, Cathy Ziegler, Elizabeth Pass and Teresa Wisocki, all of Minnesota; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund or a favorite charity.

Edna P. Kelly
SCOTTSBORO - Edna P. Kelly, 56, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Open Door Mission Church in Scottsboro with Rev. William Bright officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Kelly was a member of the Open Door Mission Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis Kelly; three daughters, Cynthia M. Simpson and Norma Jean Kelly, both of Scottsboro, and May J. Hutchins of Bridgeport; two sons, Barry L. Kelly of Scottsboro and Darrell E. Kelly of Earlington, Ky.; two stepsons, Robert L. Tolliver of Huntsville and Gary P. Kelly of Scottsboro; her mother, Edna M. Craft of Scottsboro; five sisters, Margie Wilson of Hollywood, Ann Olivia of Chattanooga, and Martha S. Ellison, Cecile Smith and Lucille Edmondson, all of Scottsboro; four brothers, James Craft, Michael Craft, William Craft and Buddy Craft, all of Scottsboro; and 22 grandchildren.

Perry J. Miller
Perry Johnathan Miller, 24, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home with Brother David Harwell officiating.
Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Perry D. and Julie Miller of Huntsville; one daughter, Kaci Miller of Huntsville; two sisters, Elizabeth Miller of Huntsville and Rebeka Smith of New Hope; and his grandparents, Bobbie Henderson of Huntsville and Bessie and Jack Miller of Hazel Green .
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

John W. Newby
John W. Newby, 81, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Mr. Newby was retired from Redstone Arsenal and NASA.
Suvrivors include his wife, Winnie H. Newby; two sons, Johnny O. Newby and Tommy W. Newby, both of Huntsville; one sister, Elizabeth Polatty of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Anne M. Paschall
Anne Mae Paschall, 77, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at noon at Spry Funeral Home with Brother Richard Craft officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Paschall was a lifelong resident of Madison County and a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Smith of Buffalo, N.Y.; one son, Mack Bolden of Tennessee; two sisters, Mamie Taylor and Hazel Alls, both of Huntsville; four brothers, Marvin Winkles of Madison, Emmett Winkles of Limestone, David Winkles of Chicago and Willie Winkles of Owens Cross Roads; and two grandchildren.

Leona T. Quick
Leona T. Quick, 80, of Huntsville died Thursday at her home. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. William H. Bostick Jr. officiating and Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Quick was preceded in death by her husband, William Mason Quick. She was a native of Eufaula and a graduate of Sullins College in Bristol, Va. She was active in the First United Methodist churches in Huntsville and Eufaula. She was a member of the American Colonist, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Garden Study Club of Huntsville.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Quick Marsalis of Kenner, La., and Foy Quick Andrews of Birmingham; two sons, William Reynolds Quick of Green sboro, Ga., and Walter Mason Quick of Huntsville; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to United Methodist Childrens Home in Selma, the First United Methodist Church in Huntsville, Hospice Family Care, the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Pauline P. Scott
BOAZ - Pauline Pope Scott, 42, of 58 Leisure Acres died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Scott; five daughters, Connie Richards of Attalla, and Ann Scott, Misty Scott, Stacey Scott and Tammy Scott, all of Boaz; two sons, Jimmy Scott Jr. and Ricky Scott, both of Boaz; five sisters, Fredia Burgett and Debbie Fountain, both of Douglas, Sue Chappell and Connie Chappell, both of Georgia, and Maggie Tucker of Geraldine; three brothers, Tom Pope of Horton, Ricky Pope of Boaz, and Jackie Pope of Albertville; and three grandchildren.

Ray H. Seale
BRIDGEPORT - Ray H. Seale, 53, died Thursday at a Chattanooga hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson.
Burial will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Steve Seale of Stevenson; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Seale of Bridgeport; one sister, Dorothy Summers of Stevenson; six brothers, Bill Seale of Florida, Jimmy Seale of Bridgeport, Joe Seale of Huntsville and Kenneth Seale, Jerry Dean Seale and David Seale, all of Chattanooga; and one grandson.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

James E. Wells
CAPMANBORO, Tenn. - James E. Wells, 81, died March 5. The funeral was Monday at Joelton Church of Christ in Joelton, Tenn., with Joe McKinney and Joe Jones officiating.
Mr. Wells was a Church of Christ minister for 55 years and had served in churches in Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Survivors include his wife, Ronelle C. Wells of Capmanboro; three daughters, Linda W. Creek of Joelton, Tina Greer of Huntsville and Aletha Wright of Murfreesboro; one sister, Lorene Kerr; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Ella G. Yates
BAILEYTON - Ella G. Yates, 79, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Roswell Creek Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Gober Funeral Home of Arab in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Smallwood of Mobile; one son, Dale Yates of Baileyton; two sisters, Omie Maxwell of Ryan and Ruth Walker of Blount County; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

William D. Zecher
MADISON - Infant William David Zecher, died Thursday at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Dr. Richard Lessmann officiating.
Survivors include his parents, David and Karen Zecher; one sister, Megan Elizabeth Zecher of Madison; his grandparents, William and Judy Zecher, Elwood Bombara, Roger and Carolyn Nicholson, all of Huntsville; and several aunts and uncles.
Donations may be made to Choose Life/Sav-A-Life, 2006 Franklin St., Huntsville 35805.
