GUNTERSVILLE - James Clyde Anderson, 82, of 22444 Hwy 431 died Friday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel with Brother Joe Teal officiating.
Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery with Grant Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey L. Anderson; two sons, James Anderson of Talladega and Joseph Anderson of Freeport, Fla.; three daughters, Elizabeth Jeffiers of Taylorsville, Ky., and Josephine McCamish and Irma Moore, both of Brentwood, Tenn.; one brother, Fred Anderson of Scottsboro; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Hascal C. Bain
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Rev. Hascal C. Bain, 85, of Finn Rd. died Saturday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
Rev. Bain was a native of Lincoln County and member of Lincoln Memorial Association Reformed Presbyterian Church. He received a divinity degree from Erskine Theological Seminary was was a minister in the Association Reformed Presbyterian and Southern Presbyterian churches for over 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Mooneyham Bain; two sons, Terry Robert Bain of Fayetteville and James Bain of Chattanooga; one brother, Shirley Bain of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren.

Bessie Beyers
TONEY - Bessie Beyers, 86, of Beaver Dam Road died Friday at local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Madison Cross Roads Presbyterian Church.
Burial will be in Madison Cross Roads Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Beyers was a native of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. She was a housewife and member of Madison Cross Roads Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul H. Beyers; one daughter, Betty Jane Robinson of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and several nephews.

Clara L. Birk
RAINSVILLE - Clara L. Birk, 79, died Friday. The funeral will be today at 2:30 p.m. at the Rainsville Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin McCreless officiating.
Burial will be in Kirk Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Frank M. Birk; one daughter, Nancy J. Riggins of Tuscon, Ariz.; one son, Frank W. Birk of Houston; one sister, Abigail Peterson of Rainsville; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Donations be made to the charity of your choice.

Oma B. Britton
HAZEL GREEN - Oma Bell Britton, 84, of Phillips Rd. died Friday at Fayetteville, Tenn. nursing home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Chapel with Revs. Russell Childers and Benny Berry officiating.
Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Britton was a native of Madison County. She was a housewife and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Britton and A.W. Britton, both of Hazel Green ; and 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Donna M. Campbell
Donna Mae Campbell, 65, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Spry Chapel with Rev. Ronald Lowery officiating.
Burial will be in Charity Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Campbell was a native of Marion County, Ill. She had lived in Huntsville since 1974. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Campbell.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Rebecca Phillips of Indiana and Donna Jean Campbell of Florida; five sons, Dennis Wayne Wimberly of Toney, Randall Allen Wimberly of Florida, Michael Eugene Wimberly of Indiana, Danny Ray Campbell of California and Frankie Monroe Campbell of Hazel Green ; one brother, Bob Thompson of Missouri; and 26 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Milford Chamblee
ALBERTVILLE - Milford Chamblee, 66, of 5743 Martling Road died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Solitude Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden with Adams Funeral Home of Albertville directing.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Chamblee; one daughter, Debbie M. Hamilton of Albertville; two sons, Ricky D. Chamblee of Gaston and Danny L. Chamblee of Albertville; one sister, Kathleen Pittman of Grove Oak; and six brothers, Earl Chamblee, James Chamblee, Cledeth Chamblee and Edward Chamblee, all of Albertville, Troy Chamblee of Horton and Boyd Chamblee of Guntersville.

Carlos R. Clark
JACKSON, Miss. - Carlos Ramonda Clark, 41, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at St. John AME Church in Huntsville with Dr. Homer L. McCall officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Clark was a graduate of Tuskegee University, member of St. John AME Church, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Young Life Christian Association and Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include his parents, Mrs. Lou V. Clark and Dr. W. Mingo Clark, both of Huntsville; two sisters, Cassandra Thompson of Huntsville and Beverly Hinckley of Cincinnati; and his godmother, Esther Fields of Huntsville.
Family visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Mattie P. Fletcher
MADISON - Mattie Pearl Fletcher, 76, of 151 5th St. died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion P.B. Church with Rev. Mylon Burwell officiating.
Survivors include one daughter, Johnnie Mae Sanderson of Madison; one stepdaughter, Bertha Mae Fletcher of Madison; two stepsons, Willie Fletcher and Charlie Fletcher Jr., both of Louisville, Ky.; one brother, Moses Edwards of Louisville; and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Omie L. Glover
MADISON - Omie L. Glover, 73, died Friday at her residence. The funeral will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Troy Taylor, Marvin Taylor and Bruce Toney officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Glover was a member of Victory Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors included two sons, Shelby Glover of Morgan County and Jerry Glover of Madison; two brothers, William S. Lanford of Huntsville and Claude A. Lanford of Orlando, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charley Hardrick
HOLLYWOOD - Charley Hardrick, 86, died last Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at noon at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hollywood with the Rev. Otis Babbs officiating.
Burial will be in Old Baptist Cemetery in Hollywood.
Mr. Hardrick was retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority. He served as a deacon for the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Lily of the Valley Lodge and the NAACP.
Survivors include one daughter, Emma L. Pugh of Scottsboro; one sister, Rosie Bynum of Bridgeport; and six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

L.V. Harrison
TAFT, Tenn. - L.V. Harrison, 67, of Bellview Road died Friday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Baker officiating.
Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery with Higgins Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Harrison was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Howton Harrison; three daughters, Nita Kendrick of Orlando, Fla., Cynthia Harrison-Trent of Atlanta and Lana Harrison Eakes of Fayetteville; five sons, James Howton of Fayetteville, Billy Ray Harrison of Atlanta, Kenneth Ryan Harrison of Nilla Rica, Ga., David Harrison of Atlanta, and Kenneth James Harrison of Fayetteville; one sister, Jean Lovett of Fayette, Ala.; two brothers, Junior Harrison of Fayette and Louis Harrison of Deland, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Phillip A. Holt
COLUMBUS, Miss. - Phillip A. Holt, 19, died Friday at his residence. The funeral will be Monday at St. Johns Catholic Church with Father Sexton officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Madison Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Holt was an honor student at East Mississippi Community College and member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Veazey of Columbus; his father, Arthur Holt of Madison, Ala.; one brother, Patrick Holt of Columbus; one sister, Madison Holt of Madison; his grandparents, Marie and Winston Hollingsworth of Huntsville, Morgan and Vera Holt of Madison and Jack D. Proffitt of Columbus; one stepbrother, Scott Castle of Huntsville; and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joni F. Kyker
SOMERVILLE - Joni Faye Kyker, 17, died Friday in Somerville. The funeral will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sherry N. Harris officiating.
Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home in charge.
Miss Kyke was a junior at Albert P. Brewer High School and was a member of the Junior ROTC program. She was employed at Hardees in Price ville.
Survivors include her parents John D. and Rita Kyker; one brother, John David Kyker of Somerville; and her grandparents, Calvin and Faye Houser of Somerville.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Christine P. Luker
HARTSELLE - Christine Patterson Luker, 75, of Hartselle died Friday at a Falkville nursing home. The funeral will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Gunter officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker and member of Westside Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, Millard Luker; two daughters, Wyllene L. Carter and Geraldine Luker, both of Hartselle; one brother, William R. Patterson of Hartselle; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ava D. Morris
TONEY - Ava Daily Morris, 90, of Patterson Lane died Friday at Fayetteville, Tenn., nursing home. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Chapel with Bill Cantrell officiating.
Burial will be in Charity Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Morris was a native of Iuka, Miss. She was a housewife and member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Frank S. Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Clyde M. Mullins
BRIDGEPORT - Clyde Merchries Mullins, 75, died Friday at a hospital in Murfreesboro, Tenn. No funeral services are planned.
Mr. Mullins was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one brother, Miles William Rouse of Atlanta; and two nephews, Bill Rouse of Bridgeport and Larry Mullins of Fayetteville, Tenn.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson.

John W. Newby
John W. Newby, 81, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Rev. John Rutland officiating and Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Newby was retired from Redstone Arsenal and NASA.
Suvrivors include his wife, Winnie H. Newby; two sons, Johnny O. Newby and Tommy W. Newby, both of Huntsville; one sister, Elizabeth Polatty of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Margaret J. Pesnell
ARAB - Margaret Jane Pesnell, 91, of Arab died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial will be in New Brashiers Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be today at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include several nieces and nephes.

William D. Pitts
SCOTTSBORO - William D. Pitts, 77, died Friday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be today at 1 p.m. at Good Hope Cemetery with Scottsboro Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one son, Charles ''Chuck Pitts of Scottsboro; one sister, Geneva Walker of Center Point; one brother, Joe Pitts of Center Point; and two granddaughters.
Donations may be made to the Good Hope Cemetery Fund.

Vola C. Ritchie
Mrs. Vola C. Ritchie, 75, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. R.L. Tyler officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery.
Mrs. Ritchie was preceded in death by her husband, Luther O. Ritchie.
Survivors include three sons, Charles O. Ritchie of Scottsboro, J.L. Ritchie of Section and Donald J. Ritchie of Skyline; six sisters, Flora Arthur of Scottsboro, Pauline Thompson of Limrock, Kathleen Sparkman and Eloise Saint, both of Skyline, and Ossie Smith and Louise Elledge, both of Huntsville; one brother, Sanford Gentle of Limrock; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

James D. Stephens
HAZEL GREEN - James D. "Billy" Stephens, 74, died Friday at his residence. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Don Stephens and Don Ramey officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Stephens was a lifelong resident of Madison County having. He lived in Hazel Green for 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Medical Corps during World War II and he was retired from the University of Alabama where he worked as a painter.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Stephens; one daughter, Kay Fuller of Huntsville; three sons, Tony Stephens of Hazel Green, and Jimmy Stephens and Mike Stephens, both of Ardmore, Tenn.; three sisters, Louise Wempler of Huntsville, Faye George of Guntersville and Patricia Richardson of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Frank Stephens of Huntsville and Don Stephens of Hazel Green ; and six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Hospice Family Cares.

Leonard C. West
TAFT, Tenn. - Leonard C. West, 86, of Blanche Road died Friday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 3:30 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Richards officiating.
Burial will be in New Grove Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. West was a native of Marshall County, Tenn. He was a member of Grove Baptist Church and was a retired barber.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred West; one daughter, Charlotte Sisk of Ardmore, Ala.; three brothers, Albert West and John West, both of Fayetteville and Artie West of Manchester; four sisters, Carrie Askins of Fayetteville, Elizabeth Jones of Smithville, Dorothy McBay of Louisville, Ky., and Louise Parker of Oak Ridge; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
