Kate L. Barnes
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Kate Lou Gautney Barnes, 84, of 17 Sulphur Springs Road died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at McCauley Funeral Home with the Revs. Joe Wayne McGee and Raymond Wallace officiating.
Mrs. Barnes was a native of Lincoln County. She was a retired seamstress with Serbin Manufacturing Co. and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Julia Kay Hopper of Pulaski; three sons, David Barnes of Fayetteville, Jerry Barnes of Shelbyville and Eugene Barnes of Bowling Green, Ky.; one sister, Dorothy Dickey of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lucille Bevels
Lucille Bevels, 76, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Bartley P.B. Church with the Rev. William Gladys officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Bevels of Huntsville and Sandra Bevels Johnson of Brockton, Mass.; and one brother, Roy Edwards of Chicago.
Her body will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral.

Frank C. Bradshaw
DECATUR - Frank Capezio Bradshaw, 67, of Decatur died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Natt Nail officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Bradshaw retired as a salesman at Lynn Layton Cheverlot and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Bradshaw; one daughter, Katie Looney of Decatur; two sons, Mark Bradshaw of Decatur and Andy Bradshaw of Huntsville; one sister, Ione Jarboe of Evansville, Ind.; two grandchildren and two nieces.

Lawrence W. Brock
Lawrence W. Brock of Huntsville died Monday in Tuscaloosa. The graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. P. David Reynolds officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Brock was a former local businessman and a descendant of George W. Bryant, an early Madison County settler. He was a cousin to the late Paul "Bear Bryant, University of Alabama football coach.
He served on the Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Board as secretary from 1962-1990, was past commodore of the Whitesburg Boat and Yacht Club and senior member on the board of directors, a member of the Huntsville Lions Club and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Rubye Naugher Brock; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Central Presbyterian Church.

Alverda C. Case
Alverda Carson Case, 83, of Huntsville died Tuesday at her home. Spry Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Mrs. Case was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a resident of Huntsville for the past 34 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Powers of Madison; three sons, Charles Hesch of Spring Hill, Fla., Donald Hesch of Toms River, N.J., and Paul R. Cast of West Milton, Ohio; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Samuel R. Clark
Samuel R. Clark, 72, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Fincher officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Clark was retired from the U.S. Army, serving in World War II, Korea and the Dominican Republic. He was also retired from PPG Aircraft Products in Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona D. Clark; one daughter, Diane Couch of Huntsville; one son, Sammy B. Clark of New Market; three sisters, Hazel Read of Chickasaw, Vera Mills and Betty Hill, both of Grand Bay; two brothers, Thomas G. Clark of Fayetteville, N.C., and James V. Clark of Jonesboro, Ga.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jessie L. Coffey Sr.
Jessie Lonzo Coffey Sr., 82, of Huntsville died Tuesday at his residence.The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Huntsville Holiness Church withthe Rev. David Jones officiating.
Mr. Coffey was a native of Jackson County and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Coffey and a son, Loyd Coffey.
Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Coffey of Huntsville; two sons, Jessie L. Coffey Jr. of Madison and Greg Coffey of Huntsville; two sisters, Kathleen Rousseau and Grace Maddox of Morgan City; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The body will be at the church an hour before the funeral.

Auddie P. Crews
ALBERTVILLE - Auddie Paul Crews, 89, of 513 Rose Road died Monday in a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include three sisters, Iva Lee Boman of Tennessee, Imogene Moore of Alabama City and Lois McGraw of Georgia.

William F. Davoren
William F. Davoren, 85, of Huntsville died Tuesday at his home. Thefuneral will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Churchwith the Rev. Louis Giardino officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service FuneralHome in charge.
Mr. Davoren was a former president of the Madison County and AlabamaPharmaceutical associations and the State Board of Pharmacy. He waseucarisitic minister of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was bestowed thehonor of Knight of Saint Gregory by Pope John the 23rd in 1960.
He was preceded in death by his son, John William Davoren.
Survivors include his wife, Brownie Ann Davoren; two daughters, Pamela"Bambi" Salvail of Huntsville and Patricia DeGeorge of Medway, Mass.;one son, Paul Kevin Davoren of Huntsville; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Holy Spirit CatholicChurch with a vigil at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Care or MadisonCounty Pharmaceutical Society Scholarship Fund.

Mary L. Hulsey
Mary Louise Hulsey, 84, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Hulsey was a native of Louisiana. She was a retired teacher with Huntsville City Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Alexander Hulsey.
Survivors include two brothers, W.C. Lowrey of Kilmorneck, Va., and Jim Lowrey of Sulpher, La.; one sister, Evelyn Freeland of Lucedale, Miss.; and several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to Hospice Family Cares, 2222 Drake Ave., Huntsville 35805.

Lorene B. McCorkle
Lorene B. McCorkle, 88, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Richard Frees officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Ms. McCorkle was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Morris McCorkle.
Survivors include two sisters, Ruby Perry and Nannie B. Jones, both of Huntsville; three brothers, James Brooks of North Carolina and John Olen Brooks and Auburn Brooks, both of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Juletta S. Rathbun
BOAZ - Juletta Scott Rathbun, 77, of 200 Church St. died Tuesday in a Gadsden hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Lambert and Mona Mooney, both of Albertville; one sister, Vallie Sue Lay of Glencoe; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Irene Roden
HORTON - Irene Roden, 86, of 7547 Nixon Chapel Road died Monday in a Guntersville nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Nixon Chapel Methodist Church.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Adams Funeral Home of Albertville directing.
Survivors include two daughters, Merle Young and Bonnie Ellis, both of Horton; two brothers, Johnny Cox and Kyle Cox, both of Nixon Chapel; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Ruby I. Rogers
MADISON - Ruby Irene Rogers, 85, died Monday at a local hospital. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Milford H. Sterling
ALBERTVILLE - Milford Howard Sterling, 90, of 713 West Main St. died Tuesday in a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Lona Bell Sterling; two daughters, Janice Hawkins of Birmingham and Martha Peppers of Collinsville; one brother, Sidney Sterling of Albertville; and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Peggy M. Tate
Peggy M. Tate, 80, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be Thursday at noon at Valhalla Funeral Home chapelwith the Revs. Bob Mayo and Booster Graves officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Tate was a native of Madison County and member of Shipps BaptistChurch in Gurley. She was also a member of the BMI Songwriters Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Earl H. Tate of Huntsville; two daughters,Peggy Crowson of Huntsville and Carol Ramsey of Meridianville; one brother,Ralph Hanvey of Huntsville; and three grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Billy R. Terrell
ALBERTVILLE - Billy Ray Terrell, 59, of 6163 Martling Road died Monday in a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Martling Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Terrell; one daughter, Elizabeth McClendon of Altoona; two sons, Jimmy McClendon of Albertville and Joseph McClendon of Altoona; one sister, Kathrine Willmore of Albertville; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Hazel E. Thomas
Hazel E. Thomas, 88, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral chapel with Dr. Lee Hudson officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Thomas was a native of Atlanta but a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Abie Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Hubert W. Turner
Hubert Whiting Turner, 84, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The memorial service will be Friday at 9 a.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitchell Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington, Iowa, on Saturday with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Turner was a history teacher and coached athletics for 35 years in Iowa, Wisconsin and South Dakota public schools. He was active in the Beaver Dam, Wis., Rotary Club for 20 years and was a member of Grace Presbytarian Church in Beaver Dam.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Turner.
Survivors include one daughter, Carla Makowski of Huntsville; one son, Lloyd Turner of New Providence, N.J.; one sister, Dorothy Lewers Borch of Cleveland, Ohio; and five grandsons.
Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Rotary International or Care of Beaver Dam.

Manton E. White Sr.
ATHENS - Manton E. White Sr., 86, of Athens died at Limestone Health Facility. A graveside service will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Green view Memorial Park in Florence with Bill Irby officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing.
Mr. White was a member of Hobbs Street Church of Christ and was retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Mobley White; one daughter, Jane Houser of Akron, Ohio; three sons, Eugene White of Athens, Ed White of Manchester, Tenn.,and Glenn White of Maryville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to a charity.

Becky Wicks
Becky Wicks, 58, of Huntsville died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Mayfair Church of Christ with Gary Bradley officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Wicks was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ. She was an interior designer and owner of Classic Interiors in Huntsville.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Wicks; one son, Gabe Wicks of Nashville; her mother, Elsie Williams of Scottsboro; and one brother, Jerry Williams of Houston.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Mayfair Church of Christ or to a favorite charity.

Austin C. Wilborn
RAINSVILLE - Austin Cole Wilborn, an infant, died Monday at a local hospital. A graveside service was Tuesday at Corinth Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Survivors include his parents, Stephanie Renae Wilborn and Terry Terrell; his grandparents, Danny and Monna Wilborn of Rainsville and Ronnie and Diane Terrell of Henagar; and his great-grandparents, Hubert and Delphia Wilborn of Section and Hershel Stanford of Rainsville.

Martha S. Williams
Martha Suzanne Butler Williams, 51, of Huntsville died Monday at her home. The memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Nativity with Rev. Mother Kerry Holder officiating.
Burial will be in the Rose Garden at the Church of the Nativity Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Fayetteville, Tenn. She attended All Saints Episcopal School in Vicksburg and was a member of the Church of the Nativity. She was instrumental in the establishment of St. Judes Episcopal Church Dayroom in Smyrna, Ga.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar R. Williams; one son, Michael R. Williams of Huntsville; and one brother, James C. Butler II of Oxford, Miss.
Memorials may be made to the Church of the Nativity, Hospice Family Care or the Robin Lanier Stewart Fund.
