VANCE - Michelle Honey Blackburn, 32, died Wednesday in Tuscaloosa. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Ben Corley officiating.
Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackburn was a native of Huntsville.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie Blackburn of Vance; two daughters, Wendy Blackburn and Brittany Blackburn, both of Vance; one son, Michael Blackburn of Vance; her mother, Sara Honey of Huntsville; her father, John Honey of California; one brother, Jay Honey of Huntsville; three half-brothers, James Justice of Huntsville, Anthony Justice of Birmingham and Josh Honey of California; and one half-sister, Heather Honey of California.

Billie R. Buckelew
ALBERTVILLE - Billie Ruth Buckelew, 59, died Saturday in an Albertville hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Albertville Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Windsor officiating.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Lardy Buckelew of Albertville; two sons, Steven Scott Buckelew and Robert Eric Buckelew, both of Albertville; one sister, Jo Ann Hall of Cullman; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Dessie Clemons
UNION GROVE - Dessie Clemons, 92, of 388 Ball Park Road died Saturday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Union Chapel Methodist Church.
Burial was to be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include four daughters, Louise Rutherford and Doris McGraw, both of Union Grove, Virginia Logan of Oneonta and Yvonne Johnson of North Carolina; one son, Clayton Clemons of Union Grove; one brother, Kermit Gibbs of Arab; and 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Arthur J. Cook
GUNTERSVILLE - Arthur Joseph Cook, 51, of 735 Ringold St. died Saturday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church.
Burial was in Guntersville City Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two sons, Michael J. Cook of Albertville and Jason E. Cook of Guntersville.
Mabel B. Deaton
Mabel B. Deaton, 91, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Deaton opened and managed garment factories from 1932 to 1967. She was also a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Laceys Spring.
Survivors include four daughters, Willena Ruth Steele of Laceys Spring, Mary Anne Fikes of Hamilton, Linda Augusta Deaton of Huntsville and Alice Olivia Lindsey of Booneville, Miss.; and 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kimberly J. Dixson
PISGAH - Mrs. Kimberly Jean Dixson, 34, died Friday. The funeral was Sunday at the Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. Luther Earl Holloway officiating.
Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Dixson; two daughters, Destinee J. Dixson and Cherokee M. Dixson, both of Pisgah; two sons, Dustin L. Dixson and Jerek M. Dixson, both of Pisgah; her mother, Lois Jean Starkey of Pisgah; and two brothers, Danny R. Starkey and Terry Michael Starkey, both of Pisgah.
Clinton B. Exby
GUNTERSVILLE - Clinton Brooks Exby, 68, died Friday at his home. A memorial service will be Wednesday at noon at Epiphany Church with Rev. Joe Sanderson officiating.
Guntersville Memorial Chapel will be in charge of burial.
Mr. Exby was a native of Memphis, Tenn. He received an electrical engineering degree from Tulane University and retired from IBM Corp. after 29 years. He also serve in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Jean Exby; two daughters, Allison Powe of Beaulieu, England, and Margaret Exby Rodrigue of Guangzhou, China; one sister, Mrs. Arther C. Faquin Jr. of Memphis; and four granddaughters.
Visitation and a vigil will be Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to the Epiphany Church Building Fund or donors favorite charity.
Gladys L. Fanning
Gladys Lena Fanning, 71, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Rod Morgan officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Lem L. Fanning; two daughters, Patricia Lawson of Atlanta and Gabrielle Fanning of Huntsville; one sister, Odel Fanning of Huntsville; two brothers, Elvis Edwards of New Market and Douglas Edwards of Hazel Green ; and one granddaughter and two great-granddaughters.

Mable L.M. Floyd
NEW HOPE - Mable Lucille Marks Floyd, 94, died Sunday at a New Hope nursing home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Revs. Franky Williams and Wade Martin officiating.
Burial will be in Brown Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Floyd and a daughter, Laura Jane Connally.
Survivors include two sons, John David Floyd and Vann R. Floyd, both of New Hope; five daughters, Mavolene Mullins, Louise Matthews, Billie Warden, Connie DeArmond, and Mary Williams, all of New Hope; two sisters, Lucy Cloud of Huntsville and Mary E. Krant of Prattville; and 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Jimmy W. Golden
Jimmy Washington Golden, 79, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Rev. James Harrell officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Golden was a native of Madison County. He was retired from Civil Service and the Madison County Commission.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Golden; three daughters, Betty Bradford of Huntsville, Faye Furr of South Carolina and Wanda Carter of Decatur; two sons, Bobby Golden of Huntsville and Mike Anthony Golden of Montgomery; two stepdaughters, Margaret Schoop of Winchester, Tenn., and Betty Shamine Berry of Owens Crossroads; four stepsons, Michael Miller of Las Vegas, Roger Dale Miller of Hazel Green, and Curtis Miller and Shawn Davis, both of Huntsville; two half-sisters, Edna McAnally and Opal Sproaton, both of Huntsville; and 12 grandchildren.

Carrie G. Goodridge
RAINSVILLE - Carrie Brooks Goodridge, 96, died Friday. The funeral was Sunday at the Rainsville Funeral Home with the Revs. Melvin Dawson, Gary Haymon and Dan Kirkpatrick officiating.
Burial was in Trinity Cemetery.
Mrs. Goodridge was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Goodridge, and one daughter, Inez Hosch.
Survivors include two daughters, Hazel Frasier and Opal Smith, both of Rainsville; one son, Clinton Goodridge of Rainsville; one brother, Leon Brooks of Sylvania; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Vera D. Holmes
BOAZ - Vera Donnie Holmes, 87, of Boaz died Saturday at local hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include five sons, Cecil Criswell of Steele, Albert Criswell of Trussville, Charles Criswell of Dawson, Ed Holmes of Boaz and Ray Holmes of Albertville; two sisters, Tincie Pounds and Lillian Walden, both of Boaz; three brothers, Wilson Collins of Gadsden, Davis Collins of Kentucky and R.B. Collins of Boaz; and 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Beatrice P. Hood
SCOTTSBORO - Mrs. Beatrice P. Hood, 78, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Stevens officiating.
Burial was in Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden with Scottsboro Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Hood was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett A. Hood.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Charles E. Hood and Larry D. Hood, both of Scottsboro; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Emmett F. Johnson
SECTION - Emmett F. Johnson, 88, died Saturday at a Scottsboro hospital. The funeral was Sunday at Section Funeral Home with the Revs. Amos McCutchen and Hubert Wilborn officiating.
Burial was in Haigwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Beatrice Johnson; three sons, Emmett M. Johnson, Donnie F. Johnson and Wonnie C. Johnson, all of Section; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Annie P. King
GURLEY - Mrs. Annie Pearl Everett King, 92, died Sunday. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Gurley Cemetery.
Mrs. King lived her entire life in Jackson and Madison counties. She was preceded in death by one son, Charles D. Berry.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Joe (Judy) Griggs and Erma Lois Shepard, both of Gurley; two sons, R.L. Berry of Tucson, Ariz., and Marvin Berry of Florida; two sisters, Gladys Everett Branum of Paint Rock and Polly Everett Keel of Lebanon, Tenn.; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Joyce E. Malenfant
GURLEY - Joyce Elaine Malenfant, 58, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at noon at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church with Rev. Tim Burns officiating.
Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Malenfant was a native of Madison County. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church and was retired from the Madison County Health Department. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula M. Huizer.
Survivors include her husband, Michael J. Malenfant; four daughters, Debbie Malenfant of Gurley, Lori Malenfant, Michelle Coats and Amy Malenfant, all of Huntsville; her parents, Joseph C. and Pauline Renfroe of Gurley; four brothers, Carl Renfroe and Gary Renfroe, both of Gurley, Lloyd Renfroe of Meridianville and Rodney Renfroe of New Hope; two sisters, Alice Rutland of Gurley and Linda Cain of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

GURLEY - Mary Elizabeth McClure, 32, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Bro. James Wilbourn and Bro. Robert Mayo officiating.
Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. McClure was a native of Jackson County and a lifelong resident of Madison County.
Survivors include one daughter, Natosha Ann Maggart of Hollywood; one son, Danny Lavon McClure of Hollywood; five brothers, Dawson McClure, Larry McClure and Barry McClure, all of Gurley, Dwight McClure of Paint Rock and Robert McClure of Toney; three sisters, Linda Davis, Brenda Wilburn and Helen Barecky, all of Gurley; and her father, Erskin McClure of Gurley.

GUNTERSVILLE - Ann Knott Parker, 57, of 2210 Pond Circle died Friday at a local hospital. A memorial service was held Sunday at Carr Funeral Home.
Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Robin Warren of Florida; one son, Randall Parker of Guntersville; two sisters, Bobbie Collins and Trudie Newby, both of Florida; and two grandchildren.

JASPER, Tenn. - Kenneth Allen Radke, 49, died Saturday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Sequatchie Valley Memorial chapel with Rev. Paul Medley officiating.
Burial will be Thursday in Valhalla Memory Gardens in Huntsville with Sequatchie Valley Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Radke was chief executive officer of Chattanooga Federal Employees Credit Union.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Watz Radke; two sons, Kristopher ''Kris John Radke and Karl Allen Radke, both of Jasper; and one sister, Barbara Nichols of Everett.

CHARLESTON, S.C. - A. Noel Stonedied Monday, March 29, at a local hospital. There was no funeral.
Mr. Stone was a former resident of Arab, Ala. He was retired as an Air Force master sergeant and from Charleston Naval Shipyard.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Stone; two daughters, Vicki Hilderbrand of Minneapolis, Minn., and Traci Kirchner of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Gail Hyden of Montgomery, Ala.; one brother, Ted Stone of Huntsville, Ala.; and one grandson.

Mrs. Welch was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Welch Sr.
