Thomas H. Andrews
ATHENS - Thomas Herbert Andrews, 88, died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Bill Irby and Walker Reed officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Andrews was a native of Limestone County. He was a member of West Hobbs St. Church of Christ and was a retired gardener from Stanford University.
Survivors include his wife Lela Andrews; two sons, Williams Andrews of Wells, Maine, and Philip Andrews of Nashville; four daughters, Helen Andrews of Nashville, Judith Brannock of Athens, Kimberly Howell of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Susan Sullivanne of Montgomery; one brother, John Andrews of Athens; two sisters, Beulah Sims of Alexander City and Lillie Martin of Riga, Mich.; and nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.

Caitlin J. Askins
HAZEL GREEN - Infant Caitlin Joyce Askins of Hills Chapel Rd. died Saturday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Stateline Cemetery with Rev. Lemar McGriff officiating.
Gallant Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Survivors include her parents, Barry Glenn Askins Sr. and Joyce Helen Hinds Askins of Hazel Green ; one sister, Brittney Danielle Askins; one brother, Barry Glenn Askins Jr.; her grandparents, George and Lois Askins of Hazel Green and George Wilton Hinds of Huntsville.

Ray Bradley
FLINTVILLE, Tenn. - Ray Bradley, 79, died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Revs. Clive Bell and Lon Ostryski officiating.
Burial will be in Flintville Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Bradley was a native of Lincoln County. He was a Mason and a Merchant Marine veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Emory Ellen ''Sparky Bradley; two sons, Dwight Bradley of Atlanta and Jeff Bradley of Flintville; one daughter, Lana Smith of Huntsville; one sister, Nell Curry of Flintville; four brothers, Mack Bradley, Bert Bradley, Gilbert Bradley and Paul Bradley, all of Flintville; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Hospital Home Health and Hospice, 700 W. Maple St., Fayetteville, Tenn.

Dyke Cargle Jr.
Dyke Cargle Jr., 69, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at noon at Briar Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America with Rev. Theodis Acklin officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Cargle was a native of Decatur. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War, retired from civil service at Redstone Arsenal, formerly employed by BAMSI and Holmes and Narval. He was a member of the VFW and Disabled Veterans of America.
Survivors include four daughters, Larteice Buford, Emma Cargle, Crystal Cargle and Angela Mayo, all of Indiana; four sons, Dwight Cargle, Dale Cargle, Darrell Ross and Jeffery Ross, all of Indiana; one brother, Melvin Garrett of Detroit; one sister, Levolia Thomas of Jessup, Md.; and 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ida B. Cloud
Ida Bell Cloud, 84, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Bro. John Daniel Stapler officiating.
Burial will be in Clouds Cove Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Linday Faye Maples of Huntsville; three sons, James Edward Cloud, Shelby Ray Cloud and Conward Odell Cloud Jr., all of Huntsville; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dylan C. Daniel
GUNTERSVILLE - Infant Dylan Carl James Daniel died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Brocks Chapel Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his parents, James Daniel and Trisha Daniel of Guntersville; one sister, Destiny Daniel of Guntersville; and grandparents, James and Betty Daniel of Union Grove, and Dirk and Sheri Sandbach and Earl and Rachel McGrath, all of Missouri.

Helen D. Hall
Helen Dotzheimer Hall, 92, of Huntsville died Friday at her home. The graveside service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Forrest Hills Cemetery in Birmingham with Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mrs. Hall is survived by one brother, Frank Dotzheimer Jr. of Huntsville.

Pearl Hall
GURLEY - Pearl ''Miss Pearl Hall, 89, of Gurley, died Thursday. The funeral will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie McKay officiating.
Burial will be in Trenton Cemetery in Paint Rock Valley.
Survivors include four stepdaughters, Ruby Marsh of Hazel Green, Evelyn Harbin of South Carolina and Christine Bridges and Estelle Gibson, both of Huntsville; two sisters, Virginia Bishop of Florida and Novella Mance of Decatur; one brother, Jesse Steele of Huntsville; and several grandchildren.

David C. Havis
GUNTERSVILLE - David Cecil Havis Jr., 42, of Guntersville died Wednesday in a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Henryville Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Brutley of Guntersville; two sisters, Mary Ellis and Rosalind Thrasher, both of Guntersville; and two brothers, Joe Brutley of Guntersville and Terrell Harris of Tennessee.

John M. Hemmen
LEWISBURG, Ky. - John Michael Hemmen, 44, died Wednesday in Russellville, Ky. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel in Athens with Bro. Dwight Ridinger officiating.
Burial will be in Elkview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hemmen was a native of Madison, Tenn. He was a member of the Church of Christ, member of the Masonic Lodge and was employed as a maintenance mechanic at Logan Aluminum.
Survivors include his wife, Sheree Hemmen; one son, Chris Hemmen of Athens; his parents, Henry Hemmen and Velma Hemmen of Florence; one sister, Vickie Robertson of Lester; and his grandmother, Agnes Hine of Florence.

Mary K. Moon
NEW HOPE - Mary K. Moon, 89, of 1051 Poplar Ridge Road died Friday at her home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Bros. O.D. Giles and Brad McKinnon officiating.
Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Judy Aday of Athens, Hazel Miller of Decatur and Sara Tracy of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one son, Charles O. Moon of New Hope; and 10 grandsons and 10 great-grandchildren.

Thearman Pitman
HARTSELLE - Thearman Pitman, 66, died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Thomas Elder officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Pitman was a native of Morgan County. He attended Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Wolverine Tube in Decatur.
Survivors include his wife, Maedrue Pittman; one son, Gary Pitman of Hartselle; one daughter, Regina Bonynge of Sarasota, Fla.; two brothers, Truman Pitman and Vernon Pitman, both of Hartselle; three sisters, Annie Jean Praytor of Hartselle, Ailene Eaton of Massey and Corene Smith of Falkville; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m at the funeral home.

Billy J. Prater
HARTSELLE - Billy Joe Prater, 63, died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home chapel with Revs. Danny Garrison and Francis Proctor officiating.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Prater was a native of Lawrence County. He was retired from the Cox Corporation where he was a construction worker.
Survivors include one son, Billy F. Prater of Elkmont; three brothers, Jack Prater of Cullman, James Prater and Hoyt Prater, both of Hartselle; and five sisters, Jean Sanford of Decatur, Brenda Barker and Bonnie Claiborne, both of Hartselle, Sue Clairday of Truman, Ark., and Doris Ives of Kansas.
Visitation will be Monday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Floy M. Smith
ATHENS - Floy May Smith, 94, of 1008 Hereford Dr. died Friday at her residence. The funeral will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bob Waldron officiating.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Lifford Smith and Clifford Smith, both of Athens; three daughters, Marjorie Roberts of Oldsmar, Fla., Ruth Nelson of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Opal Watts of Garden City, Mich.; one brother, Joe M. Bost of Ypsilanti; one sister, Lois Abernathy of Athens; and 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.

Julia M. Thompson
Julia Mae Thompson, 88, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Jehovah M.B. Church in Sumter, S.C., with Dr. Marion Newton officiating.
Burial will be in Walker Cemetery in Sumter with Royal Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements and Jobs Mortuary in charge of arrangements in Sumter.
Mrs. Thompson was a former resident of Sumter but had lived in Huntsville for the past 17 years. She was a member and deaconess of the Jehovah M.B. Church, a member of the Missionary Society and Woman of the Year in 1961. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Thompson.
Survivors include two daughters, Willie M. Heyward of Huntsville and Elease Johnson of Newark, N.J.; three foster daughters, Louise Pearson of Baltimore, Bessie Dease of Washington, D.C., and Dorothy Clark of Jersey City, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Carl B. Young
HARTSELLE - Carl Bennett Young, 66, died Saturday at his home. The graveside service will be held this week at Red Bayou Cemetery in New Boston, Texas, with Bates Rolf Funeral Home in New Boston in charge.
Mr. Young was a reserve officer for the Morgan County Sheriffs Department and a lieutenant for the Somerville Police Deptartment. He was a Mason, a Shriner and also had worked for Air Products and Chemicals as the terminal manager.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Young; two sons, Kent Northcutt of Waxahachie, Texas, and Kyle Northcutt of Irving, Texas; one daughter, Penny Shields of Longview, Texas; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle.
