John Abercrombie Sr.
SCOTTSBORO - John J. Abercrombie Sr., 84, died Saturday. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Scottsboro with the Rev. Rick Stevens officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Anne Wilson of Kingsport, Tenn.; one son, Joe Abercrombie of Scottsboro; two sisters, Annabell Fleming of Birmingham and Marguerite Arnett of Gulf Shores; one brother, Hunter Abercrombie of Birmingham; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Scottsboro.

Justin R. Amos
BOAZ - Justin Ray Amos, 67, of 415 Gold Kist Road, died Friday at a Cullman hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Amos; one daughter, Veronica Hunter of Boaz; three sons, John Amos of New Mexico, Christopher Amos of Boaz and Patrick Amos of Snead; four sisters, Ivarene Sorter of Gadsden, Demile Addington of Georgia, Wynell Oliver of Florida and Naomi Davis of Boaz; two brothers, Bill Amos of New York and J.L. Amos of Ohio; and six grandchildren.

Eva A. Blow
Eva Anderson Blow, 73, of Huntsville, died Friday. The funeral will be today at 5 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Elder Darrel Chambers officiating.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Jasper Blow III of Huntsville; three sisters, Joyce McCardy and Alice Aldrup, both of Huntsville, and Dorothy Machen of Sumter, S.C.; two brothers, Charles Rayburn ''Buck Anderson and Samuel Howard Anderson, both of Scottsboro; a special aunt, Laura Hodges of Huntsville; and one grandson and two great-grandchildren.

Frank M. Ford
LARGO, Fla. - Frank M. Ford, 72 died Friday.
The funeral will be private.
Mr. Ford was a native of Huntsville.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Ford of Dunnellon and Kenneth Ford of Ocala; one daughter, Jana Jones of Mountain City, Tenn.; one sister, Laura Baxter of Huntsville; and six grandchildren.

Royce W. Frazier
STATONVILLE, Ga. - Royce Willis Frazier, 77, died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at noon at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar, Ala.
Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Hendrix of Lake Placid, Fla., Jane Brock of Sebring, Fla., and Peggy Tatum of Statonville; three sons, Roy Frazier of Sebring, Billy Joe Frazier of Flat Rock, Ala., and Jimmy Frazier of Avan Park, Fla.; two sisters, Ruby Holcomb of Ider, Ala., and Louise Durden of North Carolina; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Dale Freeman
RAINSVILLE - Dale Freeman, 56, died Friday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with Keary Chandler officiating.
Burial will be in Rainsville Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Freeman; one son, Brandon Freeman of Rainsville; one stepdaughter, Shelia Young of Robertsdale; one stepson, David Dickerson of Rainsville; his father, Buford Freeman of Collinsville; three sisters, Judy Rodriguez, Lynette Gilliland and Cindy Gamblin, all of Crossville; one brother, Rickey Freeman of Crossville; one granddaughter and three step-grandchildren.

Jamie E. Haygood
Jamie Eric Haygood, 18, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a Jackson, Tenn. hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Royal Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Sammie Milton officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Angela Haygood of Tallahassee, Fla.; his father, Calvin Pyndell of Huntsville; one sister, Latasha Nicole Haygood of Athens; one brother, Rakim Mussa of Tallahassee; and his grandmother, Catherine Haygood of Huntsville.
Visitation will begin today at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

James E. Henson Jr.
James Edward Henson Jr., 52, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home South chapel with the Rev. John Dees officiating.
Burial will be in Twickenham Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Henson; one son, Nathan Henson of Huntsville; one daughter, Heidi McNair of Dallas; one sister, Bonnie Venezia of Huntsville; two brothers, John Henson of Florida and Keith Henson of Arizona; his mother, Viola Freeman and his stepfather, Robert Freeman; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to a trust in care of Nathan Henson at Compass Bank.

Charles Howell
RAINSVILLE - Charles Howell, 61, died Friday. The funeral will be today at 4 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Haymon officiating.
Burial will be in Rainsville Memorial Park.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Tracie McDaniel of Rainsville; one stepson, Tim Guffey of Rainsville; one sister, Dot Fancher of Pleasant Grove; one brother, Ron Howell of Henagar; and four step-grandchildren.

Delia Matthews
MADISON - Delia Matthews, 84, of 412 Carter Drive died Friday in Fayetteville, Tenn. The funeral will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Madison Chapel Funeral Home with Randy Pyle officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Matthews was preceded in death by a son, Charles Toney Matthews.
Survivors include her husband, Theo Matthews; one daughter, Viola Vaughan of Atlanta; one son, Renton Ray Matthews of Clanton; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jane L. Osterman
Jane ''Pidge Laird Osterman, 86, of Huntsville died April 18 at her home. A memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Hal Oakley officiating.
Mrs. Osterman was a native of Chambersburg, Pa., and a resident of Huntsville since 1961. She was a volunteer at Redstone Arsenal, the American Red Cross and several other local causes for more than 30 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Jenny E. Myrick of Huntsville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Churchs youth ministry, 301 Drake Ave., Huntsville, 35802.

Kincie W. Prince
Kincie W. Prince, 94, of Huntsville died Saturday at his home. A graveside service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Bro. Kem Tipton officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Prince was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Juanita Prince Gillespie and Alice Prince Payne, both of Huntsville; one son, Lloyd V. Prince of Hazel Green ; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to a favorite charity.

Walter M. Simmons
MULBERRY, Tenn. - Walter M. Simmons, 67, died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. Joe Wayne McGee officiating.
Burial will be in Melson Cemetery.
Mr. Simmons was a native of Lincoln County and a farmer.
Survivors include three sons, Manuel Simmons of New Market, Ala., Jason Simmons of Fayetteville and Jamie Simmons of Kelson; four daughters, Shirley Cannon, Lois Pigg and Shannon Richardson, all of Fayetteville, and Raynell Wilson of Hazel Green, Ala.; two brothers, Don Simmons of Columbia and Glenn Simmons of Fayetteville; four sisters, Christine Ayers, Tommie Lee Mitchell and Alberta Bunn, all of Fayetteville, and Geneva Patrick of Chicago; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

William Sullivan
TONEY - William Sullivan, 69, died Saturday at a local hospital. A memorial service will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Chester McCutcheon officiating.
Mr. Sullivan was a native of Scotland and a resident of Madison County for the last 10 years. He was a retired rear admiral in the British Navy with 20 years of service.
He was owner and operator of Billys Pawn Shop, was a member of Moose Lodge 1001, Elks Lodge 1648 and the American Legion 237.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Sullivan; three daughters, Sherry Jackson of Huntsville, Maureen Harris of London, England and Ruth Lee of Europe; two sons, Dennis Sullivan and Emmett Sullivan, both of Europe; one sister, Vera Sullivan of London; two brothers, Dennis Sullivan and Thomas Sullivan, both of Scotland; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Betty J. Wise
SAINT SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. - Betty Jane Wise, 68, died Friday at an area hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will handle funeral arrangements.
Miss Wise was a native of Huntsville.
Survivors include two sisters, Alyce Anderson of Fircrest, Wash., and Ann Francis of Huntsville; and one niece and several nephews.
