Marie C. Abel
Marie C. Abel, 83, of Huntsville died today at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include one sister, Lil Slattery of Huntsville; one nephew, Bart Slattery III of Atlanta; and three great-nephews and one great-niece.

Olon H. Cagle
Olon Harvey Cagle, 72, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home East.
Burial will be in Twickenham Memory Gardens.
Survivors include one sister, Ozell Castell of New Hope; and three brothers, Leslie Cagle, Charles Kenneth Cagle and Melvin Cagle, all of New Hope.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary F. Dabbs
Mary F. Dabbs, 74, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. Valhalla Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Carl A. Dickson
DARLINGTON, S.C. - Carl Allan Dickson, 30, died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Darlington Presbyterian Church.
Belk Funeral Home in Darlington is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mr. Dickson was a native of Huntsville and moved to Darlington in 1993.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kirkland Dickson of Darlington; one son, Cyprian Clay Dickson of Darlington; one daughter, Kirkland Elizabeth Dickson of Darlington; his parents, W.E. "Bill" and Beverly Jumper Dickson of Huntsville; one brother, W.E. "Billy" Dickson Jr. of Madison; and one sister, Donna D. Smith of Montgomery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, South Carolina Chapter, 1248 Lake Murray Blvd., Irmo, S.C., 29063, or to the American Diabetes Association of South Carolina, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Columbia, S.C. 29204.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Billy F. Dodd
Billy Fred Dodd, 68, of Huntsville died Sunday in Memphis, Tenn. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Dodd was a native of Arkansas, a Korean War veteran and retired from Ford Motor Co.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Dodd of Huntsville; and four sons, one daughter, one stepdaughter, two sisters and two brothers.

Homer M. Hammonds
MADISON - Homer Merle Hammonds, 52, of 2021 Flagstone Drive died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, Ky., with the Rev. Dennis Wainwright officiating.
Burial will be in Paris Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Hubbard Hammonds of Madison; one daughter, Vicky Royalty of Paris, Ky.; one sister, Nettie May Bhatti of Osamond, Calif.; and two grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Vesper M. Hill
ARAB - Vesper M. Hill, 90, of 211 Mobbs School Road died Saturday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church.
Burial was to be in Brookwood Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Survivors include one daughter, Diann Hall of Arab; three sisters, Lora White, Dewell Saylor and Shelba Harbin, all of Arab; two brothers, Rev. G.C. Kelly and Warren Kelly, both of Arab; and 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Samuel P. Horsley Sr.
Samuel Pascal Horsley Sr., 77, of Huntsville died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. David McMichael officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Horsley was a teacher and coach at Madison Cross Roads High School in the 1950s and was a retired instructional media specialist with the Army Ordinance Guided Missile School at Redstone Arsenal. He was also a retired first sergeant for the 543rd Signal Company of the Army Reserve, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and active in the Madison County Republican Mens Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Horsley of Huntsville and Brenda Johnson of Fort Payne; three sons, Samuel P. Horsley Jr. of Jonesboro, Ga., J. Michael Horsley of Montgomery and Steve A. Horsley of Welcome, N.C.; and eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including Carolyn Howard of Jacksonville, Fla.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church 30 minutes before the funeral.
Memorial donations may be made to the church or to the American Cancer Society.

Kyle N. Hunter
MERIDIANVILLE - Kyle N. Hunter, 35, died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bob Phelps and the Rev. Bert Owens officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Hunter was a member of Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Woodmen of the World. He attended Bethel College in McKenzie, Tenn., and worked at WESCO Electrical Supply Co.
Survivors include his wife, Susan F. Hunter of Meridianville; one son, Colby N. Hunter of Meridianville; his parents, James and Jean Hunter of Hazel Green ; one brother, Tim Hunter of Columbia, Tenn.; and grandparents, James and Polly Cox of Clarksville, Tenn.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donation may be made to Hospice Family Care or the Colby Hunter Trust Fund in care of Tim Hunter, 6413 Yeatman Lane, Columbia, Tenn., 38401.

Raymond G. Magouirk
HUNTLAND, Tenn. - Raymond Gilbert Magouirk, 58, of 113 Oakwood Drive died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Huntland Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Moore Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Ann Magouirk of Huntland; two daughters, Tannis Lee Beck of Pelhalm, Tenn., and Deborah Coleen Clark of Estill Springs, Tenn.; two sons, Daniel Magouirk of Huntland and Thomas Magouirk of Winchester, Tenn.; his mother, Alberta Magouirk of Pelham, Tenn.; one brother, Pat Magouirk of Pelham, Tenn.; three sisters, Ruby Argo, Peggy Gallagher and Rosea Lee Harris, all of Pelham, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.

Nanabhoy Patel
MADISON - Nanabhoy Ji Ji Bhoy Patel, 87, died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Valley Fellowship Church with the Rev. Greg Simon officiating.
Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Patel was a native of India and had lived in Madison three years. He was a retired accountant.
Survivors include three sons, Eruch Patel of India, Percy Patel of Kuwait and Darayas Patel of Madison; one daughter, Roshan Wadia of India; two brothers, Adi Patel and Jimi Patel, both of India; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Valley Fellowship Church Building Fund.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the church.

Eva M. Pittman
MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Eva Marie Pittman, 80, of Muskogee, Okla., died Friday in Muskogee. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial will be in Hebron Church of Christ Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Tate of Oklahoma and Janice Roberts of Eva; one son, Leo B. Pittman of Arizona; five sisters, June Hallmark, Lorene Shroup and Ina Hobson all of Michigan, and Bonnie Meurer and Doris Hobson, both of Arkansas; and 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Myrtle L. Swader
SOMERVILLE - Myrtle Leomie Swader, 85, died Saturday at her home. The funeral was to be today at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Aubrey Gable officiating.
Burial was to be in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Swader was a member of New Hope North Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Swader, and one son, Ronald Swader.
Survivors include four daughters, Mae Baker of Somerville, Linda Wilson of Hartselle, Sue Turney and Edith Wray, both of Vinemont; three sons, Donald Swader of Decatur, James Swader of Falkville and Roger Swader of Somerville; two sisters, Mildred Wigginton and Novil Bates, both of Hartselle; and two brothers, Olan Cryer of Florida and Ollie Cryer of Somerville.

Andrew J. Swinford
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Andrew Jackson "Jack" Swinford, 58, of 72 Marty Road died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Prosperity Cemetery with Bro. Burt Watkins officiating.
Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Swinford was a native of Lincoln County and a former pipe fitter for the Fayetteville Water Department.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Bartlett Swinford of Fayetteville; one daughter, Christi Thompson of Fayetteville; one son, Paul Andrew Swinford of Fayetteville; one brother, Cleveland Swinford of Fayetteville; five sisters, Evelyn Robinson of Copperas Cove, Texas, Delia Norwood of Nashville, Esteria Currin of Fayetteville, Sue Watson of Petersburg, Tenn., and Hazel Towry of Michigan; and two grandchildren.

Mamie K. White
ABILENE, Texas - Mamie Kennamer White, 91, died Saturday at an Abilene nursing home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at North 5th and Grape Street Church of Christ in Abilene with A.H. Kennamer and Claud Parrish officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park with Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home of Abilene in charge.
Mrs. White was formerly of Paint Rock and went to high school in Gurley. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lovis C. Kennamer and Cecil L. White; and one son, Lovis C. Kennamer Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Jean Holzmann of Abilene, Anita Holloway of Springtown, Texas, and Wanda Pietzsch of Colorado City; two sisters, Estelle Perry of Florence and Alice Mildred Maples of Paint Rock; and six granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association of West Central Texas Inc., P.O. Box 3344, Abilene, Texas 79604.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Marilyn O. Yant
Marilyn Oliver Yant, 50, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Big Cove Holiness Church with the Rev. Oakley Drake and Jack Kelly officiating.
Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Yant was a native of Madison County and worked at Taylor Exxon.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Yant of Huntsville; one daughter, Ashley Davis of Huntsville; her mother, Nellie Oliver of Huntsville; and one sister, Sheila Henry of Gurley.
Her body will be at the church from 4 p.m. today to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
