Kenneth E. Baltzer
FALKVILLE - Kenneth E. Baltzer, 75, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Baltzer was retired from the Air Force after 30 years. He was a veteran of World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. Baltzer; two daughters, Connie Piper of Hartselle and Barbara McCool of Cadillac, Mich.; one brother, Lee Baltzer of Lexington, Ky.; and three grandchildren.

Connie Beddingfield
GARDENDALE - Connie Beddingfield, 46, died Thursday in Sweetwater, Tenn. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bros. Joe Corley and Bill Hall officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Beddingfield was a former resident of Athens and member of Gardendale Church of Christ. She was a Educational Psychologist at Jefferson State Jr. College and Samford University. She was a graduate of Auburn University and obtained her doctorate from the University of Alabama.
Survivors include her parents Glen and Jane Beddingfield of Athens; two sisters, Ginger Adams of Maryville, Tenn., and Laura Beddingfield of Birmingham; her grandmother, Athelene Sandlin of Athens; and one brother, Glen Beddingfield II of Elkmont.

Joshua Beddingfield
GARDENDALE - Joshua Beddingfield, 16, died Thursday in Sweetwater, Tenn. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bros. Joe Corley and Bill Hall officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Beddingfield was a former resident of Athens. He was a member of Gardendale Church of Christ.
Survivors include his father, Glen Albert Beddingfield II of Elkmont; his mother, Stephanie Beddingfield of Hartselle; one sister, Elizabeth Leigh Cobb of Athens; his grandparents, Glen and Jane Beddingfield of Athens and Flora Jane Stewart of Hartselle; his great-grandmother, Athelene Sandlin of Athens; and two aunts and two uncles.

Maggie A. Burdine
Maggie Alice Burdine, 93, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. The graveside service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Cameron Cemetery with the Rev. Mitchell Williams officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mrs. Burdine was a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a member of Cameron United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, William M. Burdine of Huntsville; one granddaughter, Karen Cotton of Huntsville; and one great-granddaughter, Caroline Cotton of Huntsville.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Philip A. Culbert
ALBERTVILLE - Philip Adair Culbert, 55, of 345 Rives Road, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Woosley Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Adele Culbert; two daughters, Kim Culbert of Grant and Joy Fowler of Scottsboro; one son, Donnie G. Culbert of Albertville; one stepdaughter, Amanda Gann of Albertville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Henry Culbert of Albertville; five sisters, Kathleen Mason of Boaz, Barbara Tennison of Oregon, Carrol Kelley and Allison Simpson, both of Guntersville, and Capt. Marlean C. Bruce of Germany; and five grandchildren.

Edith L. Dailey
PISGAH - Edith L. Dailey, 74, died Friday in Scottsboro. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Rev. Larry Haynes officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Dutton.
Mrs. Dailey was preceded in death by one son, Roger Philip Dailey.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie E. Dailey; one daughter, Terry Albritton of Pisgah; one brother, Lee Hopkins of Powell; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mollie M. Floyd
BOAZ - Mollie Marie Floyd, 56, of 30 Cooper Courts, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, James R. Floyd; three daughters, Sonia Carter of Albertville, Jeniece Carroll of Boaz and Talina Early of Bessemer; one son, Keith Floyd of Boaz; two sisters, Anne Hulsey of Georgia and Bonnie Fisher of Virginia; and seven grandchildren.

Lula Gunter
ALBERTVILLE - Lula Gunter, 85, of 5038 McVille Road, died Friday in Albertville. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include one daughter, Regina Chumley of Albertville; four sisters, Pluma Phillips, Pauline Pack and Willie Gunter, all of Albertville, and Jean Lang of Boaz; two brothers, Pete Black of Crossville and L.D. Black of Albertville; and two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Doris R. Hancock
Doris Rachel Hancock, 77, of Huntsville died Jan. 27 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Taft, Tenn.
Spry Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Hancock was a native of Shaw, Miss. and lived in Huntsville for the past 20 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Seguar of Parker, Colo., and Bonnie Daniels of Denham Springs, La.; two sons, Milton Nerren of Taft and Ricky Nerren of Harrisburg, N.C.; two sisters, Mary Huff and Willie Mae Norris, both of Taylorsville, Miss.; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Joseph T. Hudson
Joseph T. Hudson, 59, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Blanche Cemetery in Lincoln Co., Tenn.
Mr. Hudson was a native of Madison County. He was a diesel mechanic for Ryder Rental Trucks and member of Oakley Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty L. Hudson; one daughter, Rhonda Hopkins of New Market; one son, Rodney Hudson of New Market; his mother, Ozella Hudson of New Market; one stepdaughter, Sharon Mierzejewski of Gautier, Miss.; one stepson, Kerry Sumners of Athens; six sisters, Roberta Edwards and Lillie Perry, both of New Market, Mary Frances Swinford of Tippcity, Ohio, Lucinda Fort of Crestview, Fla., Lorine Shelton of Flintville, Tenn., and Faye Mullins of Pulaski, Tenn.; three brothers, Billy Hudson of Huntsville, Andrew Hudson of Flintville and Leroy Hudson of Fairborn, Ohio; and two grandchildren, three step-grandhcildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the Center for Cancer Care, One Hospital Dr. Suite 100, Huntsville, AL 35801.

Lee J. Hudson
Dr. Lee J. Hudson, 67, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Sam Wolfe officiating.
Burial will be in Twickenham Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Dr. Hudson was a native of Mississippi and was pastor of Heritage Baptist Church for 26 years and of Pineview Baptist Church for four. He was co-founder and president of Heritage Bible College, served as moderator of the Madison Baptist Association, and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Alabama Baptist State Convention.
He was president of the Greater Huntsville Ministerial Association, member of the Superintendents Advisory Committee of the Huntsville Public Schools, volunteered as chaplain for the Huntsville Police Department and Huntsville Hospital and was a member of Woodland Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hudson; two sons, Tim Hudson of Chattanooga and Mark Hudson of Huntsville; his mother, Gertrude Hudson of Brookhaven, Miss.; two brothers, Paul Hudson of Gulfport, Miss. and T.C. Hudson of McHenry, Miss.; two sisters, Susie Peden of Jackson, Miss., and Betty Carlyn of Brookhaven; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Clara Peusch.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Donations may be made to the Heritage Bible College or to the Gideons Bible Fund.

Margaret E. Hughes
SALE CREEK, Tenn. - Margaret Elaine Hughes, 47, died Friday. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Pisgah with the Revs. Mike Young, Earnest Corbitt and Jim Bernard officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Hughes was a local newspaper carrier for The Chattanooga Times-Chattanooga News Free Press.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip Hughes; one daughter, Christina Hughes of Pisgah; and three brothers, Richard Corbitt and Donald Corbitt, both of Pisgah, and Earnest Corbitt of Rainsville.

H.A. Labbee II
H.A. ''Hal Labbee II, 85, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Labbee was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, who served in World War II and Korea. He retired from the civil service in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Dean Daniels Labbee; two daughters, Annette Labbee of Huntsville and Nancy Labbee of Dallas; and one son, Robert Labbee of Dallas.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the H.A. Labbee II Memorial Fund, c/o SouthTrust Bank, 4012 University Dr., Huntsville, AL 35816.

Barbara Smith
Barbara Smith, 52, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Paul D. Smith; and one son, Paul D. Smith Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.

Oscar Wessler
ARDMORE - Oscar Wessler, 71, died Friday at his home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Green and Dr. Ray Stoneycypher officiating.
Burial will be in German Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennie Coffelt of Altoona; two special cousins, Leonard and Mary Ruf; and three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dalton F. Williams
ALBERTVILLE - Dalton Franklin Williams, 74, of 609 Fairmont Ave., died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be today at 4 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Ilene Williams; three daughters, Brenda Hubbard and Sandy Driver, both of Albertville, and Pam Tanner of Guntersville; one son, Ralph Williams of Southside; three sisters, Jewell Jackson of Boaz, Bessie Bearden of Georgia and Bea Collier of Albertville; and 10 grandchildren.

Myrtle C. Yell
Myrtle C. Yell, 81, of Huntsville died Thursday at a Lynchburg, Tenn., nursing home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Bill Ivey officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Yell was a native of Warren County, Tenn., but had lived in most of her life in Huntsville. She was a retired textile worker and member of Huntsville Park Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Roy E. Yell of Huntsville and Charles E. ''Gene Yell of Petersburg, Tenn.; one sister, Hazel Majors of Muncie, Ind.; six brothers, Jim Earls of Huntsville, Alex Earls of Madison, Tommy Earls of Muncie, Billy Earls of Ohio, and Bobby Earls and James Earls, both of McMinnville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
