BOAZ - Crystal R. Argon, infant daughter of Luis R. Eirraba and Elisa Argon, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in Union Grove Cemetery.
Other survivors include two stepbrothers, Israel Argon and Celso Argon; and her grandparents, Pedro Rodriquec, Herlinda Eirraba and Anselma Correno.
Edna A. Beddingfield
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Edna A. Beddingfield, 78, of Bellview Road died Sunday at a Fayetteville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Graham officiating.
Burial will be in Charity Cemetery.
Mrs. Beddingfield was a native of Madison County who retired from Mallory Electronics. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Beddingfield, and one daughter, Judy Laracuente.
Survivors include three daughters, Gayle Casias of Lewisburg, Sandy Hirlston of Kelso and Jane Graham of Fayetteville; two sons, Buddy Steadman of Grant, Ala., and Ben Beddingfield of Fayetteville; two brothers, William D. "Son" Finley of Elkwood and Harold Finley of Hazel Green, Ala.; two sisters, Helen Jackson of Hazel Green and Doris Weiland of Ardmore, Ala.; and 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marguerite E. Bracken
Marguerite Elizabeth Bracken of Huntsville died Sunday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Bracken was a native of Nashville and had lived in Huntsville 24 years. She retired after being a teacher about 25 years and was an American Red Cross volunteer 10 years.
She was a member of the Sunshine Club, Hospitality Club, Twickenham Garden Club, Retired Officers Association Auxiliary, Redstone Arsenal Widows Club and the Protestant Women of the Chapel. She attended the Redstone Post Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. Bracken Sr.
Survivors include one son, Glenn A. Bracken Jr. of Huntsville; and four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
Hubert E. Bryant
HENAGAR - Hubert E. Bryant, 72, died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Henagar.
Mr. Bryant was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and had retired from Iron Workers Local No. 704.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Bryant.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Holloway of Skyline; two sons, Larry Bryant and Gary Bryant, both of Henagar; one brother, Irby Bryant of Pisgah; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Willene Enochs
ARAB - Willene Enochs, 66, of 1207 2nd St. died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 4 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Brookwood Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Murphy Enochs; four daughters, Darlene Enochs, Elaine Blythe, Monrona Maze and Sharon Jones, all of Arab; two sons, David McKinney of Boaz and Ricky Turner of Arab; two stepdaughters, Cindy Walker of Altoona and Kimberly Simmons of Arab; two stepsons, Gary Enochs and Charles Enochs, both of Arab; mother, Dovie Pendergrass of Guntersville; four sisters, Lassie Hester and Mildred Larue, both of Arab, and Louise Kirkland and Norma Pendergrass, both of Guntersville; three brothers, James Pendergrass and Junior Pendergrass, both of Guntersville, and Jimmy Pendergrass of Cullman; and 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Roy D. Fleming
ATHENS - Roy Delton Fleming, 57, of 17212 Sewell Road died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Danny McMullins officiating.
Burial will be in Higgins Cemetery.
Mr. Fleming retired from Monsanto Chemical Co. and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan "Tiny" Green .
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Fleming of Athens; two sons, Michael D. Green of Athens and Gerald Dexter Green of Rogersville; three daughters, Angela D. Green and Dianne Bolton, both of Athens, and Sandy Gaddy of Center Star; two sisters, Christine Howard and Betty Barclay, both of Rogersville; and 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ruth Gable
LACEYS SPRING - Ruth Gable, 61, of 337 Water Tower Loop died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New Canaan Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert Gable of Union Hill, Carl Gable of Huntsville and Billy Gable of Anniston.
Jo Ann Isbell
Jo Ann Isbell, 66, of Huntsville died Sunday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Kilgore Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be at Grantswood Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Isbell of Huntsville; one son, Terry Joe Isbell of Maryland; two sisters, Clovestine Alexander and Faye Wheatley, both of Irondale; and one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Joshua M. Johnson
MADISON - Joshua Michael Johnson, infant son of Jason and Jessica Johnson, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral was Monday at 3 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Madison Chapel Funeral Chapel was in charge of burial.
Other survivors include one brother, Shane Morris of Madison; and his grandparents, Vanie Morris of Madison, Frankie Morris of Green briar and Wayne and Pearly Mae Johnson of Augusta, Ga.
Lola Johnson
RAINSVILLE - Lola Johnson, 97, died Sunday in Hixson, Tenn. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry McKinney officiating.
Burial was in Trinity Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Johnson.
Survivors include one daughter, Dessie Strange of Hixson; three sons, Floyd Johnson and Marvin Johnson, both of Rainsville, and Troy Johnson of Fort Payne; one sister, Jeppie Bailey of Chattanooga; one brother, Harold Goodman of Soddy Daisey, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Eula E. Knight
ARAB - Eula Evelyn Knight, 76, of 699 Twin Lakes Drive died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Brookwood Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Knight of Arab; two stepdaughters, Betty Pell and Nelta Kay, both of Louisiana; and three brothers, James Price of Tennessee, Denver Price of Virginia and Houston Price of Arab.
Therma B. Lee
CLEVELAND - Therma Burns Lee, 82, died Sunday at her home. The funeral was Monday at Section Funeral Home.
Burial was in Corinth Cemetery in Section.
Survivors include four daughters, Betty Whitworth of Cullman, Jewell Moore of Altoona, Peggy Bennett of Blountville and Jo Ann Walls of Texas; three sons, James B. Burns, Jimmy Burns and Jessie Burns, all of Blountville; and 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Jayne H. Lowry
Jayne Honea Lowry, 77, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. William H. Bostick officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Lowry was well-known for her community service work, particularly in promoting, sustaining and advancing the arts. Some of the organizations to which she made contributions were the Huntsville Pilgrimage Association (founder and first president), the Womens Guild of the Huntsville Museum of Art, the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild, Randolph School, the Humane Society, the Friends of the Symphony, the Community Ballet Association, the Huntsville Chamber Music Guild, Alliance Francaise, the Huntsville Literary Association, the Huntsville City Cemetery Advisory Board, the Friends of Library, the Gothic Guild, AAUW, the Huntsville Historic Foundation, the Arts Council Inc., the Opera Society of Huntsville, the Huntsville Historic Preservation District Association, the Huntsville Youth Orchestra, Focal and Madison County Womens Scroll of Honor Award (Lifetime Achievement Award.)
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Hickman Lowry.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Lowry Richard of Huntsville and Sandy Lowry of Chicago; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

BRIDGEPORT - Vivian Ruth Mashburn, 75, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Revs. Owen Durham and David Smith officiating.
Burial was to be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mashburn.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Poe of Jasper, Tenn., and Sherry Thomas of Bridgeport; three sisters, Betty Sparks and Carolyn Tanner, both of Bridgeport, and Judy Gass of Stevenson; three brothers, Roland Smith of Whitwell, Tenn., Harold Smith of San Diego, Calif., and Gurney Smith of Bridgeport; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Nellie McAlpin
RAINSVILLE - Nellie McAlpin, 87, died Saturday at Collinsville Nursing Home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Revs. Briggs King and Verlon Stiefel officiating.
Burial was to be in Green s Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include four sons, Randall McAlpin of Warner Robins, Ga., Alton R. McAlpin of Huntsville and Ernest ''Dink McAlpin and James McAlpin, both of Rainsville; and 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Bonnie M. McDuffie
FORT PAYNE - Bonnie McAlpin McDuffie, 79, died Sunday at a DeKalb County hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Lunk officiating.
Burial was in Mountain View Memory Gardens.
Mrs. McDuffie was a native of DeKalb County and a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Bett Jean Gosdin of Gadsden and Jackie Colston of Rome, Ga.; one brother, Claudee Glenn McAlpin of New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
Oscar W. Owens
STEVENSON - Oscar Walker ''Hoss Owens, 82, died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 4 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Rev. Thomas Shoemake officiating.
Burial was to be in Cawfield Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Robbie Davis Owens; three daughters, Libby Stubblefield, Brenda Badgett and Suzette Bradford, all of Stevenson; two sisters, Ruby Shoemake and Pearl Lawson, both of Stevenson; one brother, William Fred Owens of Bridgeport; and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Jimmie A. Pinkston
ALBERTVILLE - Jimmie Amos Pinkston, 71, of 1908 High Point Road, died Sunday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include her husband, S.B. Pinkston; three daughters, Reba Cofield, Sarah Bearden and Cindy Clark, all of Albertville; her mother, Bernie Amos of Albertville; two sisters, Beb Smith of Albertville and Erna Kelly of Attalla; one brother, Phillip Amos of Decatur; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Julia V. Plunkett
LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. - Julia Virginia Plunkett, 97, of the Mars Hill Community died Sunday in Lawrenceburg. The funeral was Monday at Neal Funeral Home chapel in Lawrenceburg.
Burial will be in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Plunkett was a homemaker, a native of Marion County and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edgar Plunkett.
Survivors include three daughters, Avis Miller of Pulaski, Tenn., Eleanor Kay of Huntsville and Virginia Rankin of Nashville; two sons, Robert Plunkett of Pulaski and Travis Plunkett of Birmingham; one brother, Jasper Burnett of Knoxville, Tenn.; and 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

RAINSVILLE - Mary Magdalene ''Mag Pope, 74, died Saturday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral was to be today at 4 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Revs. Ken Johnson and J.L. Black officiating.
Burial was to be in Kirk Memorial Gardens in Rainsville.
Survivors include five daughters, Marie Gray and Mary Pope, both of Powell, Betty York of Flat Rock, Dorothy Pope of Hollywood and Mamie Pope of Rainsville; two sons, Charles Pope of Trenton, Ga., and Roy Pope of Rainsville; two sisters, Ruby Brown and Louise Brown, both of North Carolina; one brother, Billy Brown of North Carolina; and 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mattie F. Potter
Mattie Fay Potter, 57, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Lance Faylor officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Potter was a native of Madison County.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas G. Potter; four sons, Michael Wayne Potter of Hazel Green, Thomas Gilbert Potter and Stephen Alan Potter, both of Huntsville and Wallace Ray Potter of Flintville, Tenn.; five sisters, Joyce Bartlett and Leudell Brown, both of Huntsville, Vivian Lambert of Morgan City and Glenda Wolfe and Minnie Perry, both of Taylor, S.C.; one brother, Ray Sharp of Huntsville; and 10 grandchildren.

ATHENS - Laura Lou "Polly" Ridinger, 84, of 20115 Wallace Lane died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. James Turner officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Robbie Nell McElyea.
Survivors include two sons, James Robert Ridinger and and Billy W. Ridinger, both of Athens; two daughters, Bobbie Jean Truckey of Hammond, Ind., and Patricia Haggard of Athens; two brothers, Thomas Russell of Dosson Springs, Ky., and Earl Russell of Eagle Lake, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Gladys A. Ronning
Gladys Alexander Ronning, 73, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Ronning was a native of Walker County and had lived in Huntsville 35 years. She was a member of Mastin Lake Road Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Paul Ronning.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Allen of Huntsville and Sharon Ronning of Birmingham; one son, Paul Ronning of Birmingham; one brother, Cornelius V. Alexander of Jasper; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Barbara Smith
Barbara Smith, 52, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Smith was a former teacher at Morris Elementary School and a human resources manager for Lesco.
Survivors include her husband, Paul D. Smith of Huntsville; one son, Paul D. Smith Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; her mother, Margaret Foreman of Lewisburg, Tenn.; one sister, Kay Luttrell of Lewisburg; four brothers, Jim Wheat of Lewisburg, Kenneth Wheat of Hedgesville, W.Va., Leonard Wheat of Portland, Ore., and Ray Wheat of Sacramento, Calif. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
James H. Tanner
HARTSELLE - James Hollis Tanner, 73, died Saturday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home chapel in Hartselle with the Rev. W.G. Henry officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Tanner was a native of Morgan County and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Ruth Tanner of Hartselle; two sons, James Mark Tanner of Tuscaloosa and Grad L. Tanner of Huntsville; one brother, John W. Tanner of Danville; two sisters, Sarah Jane White and Nell Howell, both of Hartselle; and four grandchildren.
Ruth W. Turner
Ruth Watson Turner, 92, of Huntsville died Sunday at her home. The graveside service was today at 10 a.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with the Rev. Gary Ward officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home was in charge of burial.
Mrs. Turner was a charter member of Latham United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Turner.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Turner; two daughters, Linda Turner Each and June Turner Shapiro, both of Huntsville; two sons, Charles Thomas Turner of Huntsville and Raymond Turner of Cordova, S.C.; one brother, Charles ONeal Watson of Huntsville; and three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jimmy W. Tyler
ATHENS - Jimmy Wayne Tyler, 51, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Tyler was a native of Limestone County and was employed by Pierce Construction Co.. He was a member of the Church of Christand was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Estalene Tyler, and by one sister, Ella Will Milliorn.
