Michael G. Allen
Michael Gary Allen, 53, of Huntsville died Sunday in Arizona. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Memorial Parkway Church of Christ with Lonnie Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Allen was a member and deacon at Memorial Parkway Church of Christ, concessions manager at the Von Braun Center and chairman of the board for AGAPE of North Alabama and assisted with the Court Appointed Juvenile Advocate program.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Allen of Huntsville; one daughter, Michelle Allen of Huntsville; one son, Toney Michael Allen of Henderson, Tenn.; his mother, Margie Allen of Huntsville; two sisters, Sharon Walker of Henderson and Jan Brewer of Hohenwald, Tenn.; and one brother, David Allen of Gurley.
Visitation will be today from noon to 9 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to AGAPE, 3412 Mastin Lake Road in Huntsville, 35810; Madison Academy, 325 Slaughter Road in Madison, 35758; or Freed-Hardeman University, 158 East Main St. in Henderson, Tenn., 38340.

Ted E. Babcock
GURLEY - Ted E. Babcock, 68, died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Anglican Church with James P. Clark officiating.
Burial will be Monday at 3 p.m. in Beard Cemetery in Mendon, Mich., with Spry Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Babcock was a native of Fulton, Mich., and had lived in Madison County 21 years. He was member of St. Charles Anglican Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta M. Babcock of Gurley; three sons, Paul Babcock of Wisconsin, Andrew Babcock of Gurley and Timothy Babcock of Englewood, Colo.; one daughter, Katherine Willis of Mont Dora, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Jeffery of Canton, Mich., and Nanci Olgren of Northville, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to the church at 212 Washington St. in Huntsville, 35801.

Clyde L. Barclay
STEVENSON - Clyde Lee Barclay, 72, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Revs. Donnie Guinn, George Warr and John Gamble officiating.
Burial was to be in Centennial Cemetery.
Mr. Barclay worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority at its Widows Creek Steam Plant near Bridgeport. He was a member of the Centennial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, David Lee Barclay and Clyde Leon Barclay.
Survivors include his wife, Jerry Arnold Barclay; two daughters, Maudie Jones of Nashville, Ind., and Laurie Barclay of Stevenson; three sons, Steve Barclay of Burke, Va., and Andy Barclay and Toney Barclay, both of Stevenson; one sister, Edith George of Woodville; one brother, Floyd Manning of Scottsboro; and five grandchildren.

T.L. Biles
TONEY - T.L. Biles, 65, died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tony Billions and Bro. Wayne Berryhill officiating.
Burial will be in Madison Cross Roads Cemetery.
Mr. Biles was a member of Woodmen of the World and the Madison Cross Roads Presbyterian Church. He was a lifelong Madison County resident and had worked several years at Reynolds Brothers General Merchandise.
Survivors include three daughters, Shelia George of Huntsville, Susie Montgomery of Madison and Sarah Ingrum of Toney; one nephew, Doran Smith of Toney; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Peggy L. Carlisle
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. - Peggy Louise Carlisle, 65, of 20th Avenue died Wednesday. A graveside service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Concord Church Cemetery in New Market with the Rev. Howard E. Lafevor officiating.
Gallant Funeral Home of Hazel Green is in charge of burial.
She was a native of Madison County, Ala., and for several years was a member of West Huntsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold W. Carlisle of New Smyrna Beach; one daughter, Debra Cline of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; two sons, Mark A. Carlisle of New Market and Tommy Carlisle of Huntsville, Ala.; her mother, Alverene Campbell Satterfield of New Market; one brother, R. Dean Campbell of New Market; and three grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Fla., 32119.

John C. DeArmond
John C. "Butch" DeArmond, 55, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. A graveside service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Dr. William H. Bostick Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. DeArmond had retired from the Alabama State Employment Office and was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbye C. DeArmond of Huntsville; one daughter, Devera Hester of Hazel Green ; his mother, Ethel DeArmond of Huntsville; and one grandson.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cleveland N. Gault
OWENS CROSS ROADS - Cleveland N. "Bud" Gault, 74, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Green officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Gault was a lifelong resident of Madison County.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Gault of Owens Cross Roads; one daughter, Juanita Lovsey of Columbus, Ohio; one son, James C. Gault of Cannel Fulton, Ohio; two sisters, Susie Mae Clardy of Toney and Jean Gault ORear of Huntsville; one brother, James L. Gault of Lynchburg, Tenn.; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jeffrey K. Hovey
ALBERTVILLE - Jeffrey Keith Hovey, 38, of 10182 Pleasant Grove Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at High Point Baptist Church.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Adams Funeral Home of Albertville in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen Hovey; two daughters, Melissa Hovey and Lindsey Hovey, both of Albertville; his mother, Della Hovey of Guntersville; one brother, Chris Hovey of Guntersville; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.F. Morrow of Guntersville.

Willie B. Kincer
HAZEL GREEN - Willie B. "Bill" Kincer, 87, of Luna Lane died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel in Hazel Green with the Revs. Rusty Lincoln and Charles Marable officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Kincer was a native of Mayking, Ky., a retired coal miner and a member of the United Mine Workers, the United Auto Workers and Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Morris Kincer of Hazel Green ; five sons, Billy Gene Kincer and Gary Lynn Kincer, both of Whitesburg, Ky., Gerald Ray Kincer of Hazel Green, Jackie Neal Kincer of Capistrana, Calif., and David Glennis Kincer of LaHarba, Calif.; one brother, Claude Kincer of Clearwater, Fla.; and 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert L. Lacy
Robert L. Lacy, 78, of 3310 Buttrey Drive died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America with the Rev. McKinley Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Lacy had retired from the U.S. Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America and was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Lacy.
Survivors include two daughters, Catherine Briggs and Christine Green, both of Huntsville; one son, Robert Green of Huntsville; five sisters, Ethel Whiting and Pauline Lacy, both of Huntsville, and Catherine Lacy, Ella Binford and Daisy Caudle, all of Triana; one brother, Peter Lacy of Huntsville; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

William C. Maples
William C. "Ted" Maples, 89, of 3759 Hobbs Island Road died Tuesday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Billy Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Walker Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Maples of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Violet P. Morgan
Violet Pulliam Morgan, 84, of Huntsville died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Elder Don Hackney and the Rev. Bob Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Morgan was a member of Willowbrook Keenagers and was elected "Woman of the Year" for the Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Morgan King of Huntsville; four grandchildren, David King of Meridianville, Gary King of New Market, Scott King of Huntsville and Cathy Clark of Toney; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

George A. Murphy
BOAZ - George Arvin Murphy, 63, of 522 N. Main St. died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Della Lang of Horton; one son, Allen Murphy of Geraldine; two sisters, Ruth Tendleton of Albertville and Estelle Murphy of Georgia; one brother, Coleman Murphy of North Carolina; and five grandchildren.

Violeta Scogin
Violeta "Vi" Scogin, 66, of Huntsville died Wednesday at her home. Valhalla Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Arnold J. St. Antoine
DECATUR - Arnold J. "Dusty" St. Antoine, 71, died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Culotta officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Shelton Funeral Home of Decatur in charge.
Mr. St. Antoine was a house painter and a native of Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, Sue St. Antoine of Decatur; two son, Bruce St. Antoine of Durham, N.C., and Arnold C. St. Antoine of Decatur; one stepson, Wayne Lawson of Low Gap, N.C.; five daughters, Colleen Anderson of Soloman Island, Md., Jackie Peebles and Teresa Free, both of Hartselle, Emmaline Gladwell of Decatur and June Helms of Somerville; one brother, Jim St. Antoine of Michigan; two sisters, Gen Morway and Frances St. Antoine, both of Sheboygan, Mich.; and 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the church, followed by a Rosary service.

Ralph E. Tedder
ALBERTVILLE - Ralph Earl Tedder, 46, died Tuesday at his home. The funeral was today 11 a.m. at Albertville Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jimmy Harris officiating.
Burial was in Rehobeth Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Tedder of Guntersville and Ralph Lee Tedder of Albertville; two daughters, Jennifer LeAnn Tedder and Brandy Nicole Tedder, both of Albertville; his mother and stepfather, Margaret Louise and Dewey Maroney of Calhoun, Ga.; four brothers, James Earl Tedder of Boaz, James Thurmond Tedder of Pensacola, Fla., Leon Tedder of Guntersville and Larry Tedder of Arab; two sisters, Bonnie Bynum and Margaret Ann Tanner of Arab; and two grandchildren.

James I. Thomas
ATHENS - James Isaac Thomas, 93, of Oakdale Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Isoms Chapel United Methodist Church with Barry Dunn officiating.
Burial was to be in Athens City Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Thomas was a native of Limestone County and was a member of Isoms Chapel United Methodist Church for 78 years. He served three terms as Limestone County tax collector and two terms as Limestone County Circuit Court clerk. He established Thomases Barbecue, Hickory House and Thomas Pit Barbecue.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgie Henderson Thomas.
Survivors include four daughters, Janie Lambert, Marie Rich, Inez Lester and Juanita Turpin; one son, James Thomas; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Sarah V. Thomas
ATHENS - Sarah Virginia Thomas, 82, of 510 6th St. died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Don Osborne officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas retired from the Limestone Board of Education Central Office and was a member of Market Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Richard "Dick" Thomas of Athens, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert Vann Jr.
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Robert "Big Deal" Vann Jr., 73, died Tuesday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Joel S. McGraw officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Vann was a member of the American Legion, the Eagles and was a licensed auto dealer for 55 years.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby L. Vann of Manchester, Tenn., and Jerry W. Vann of Huntsville; two sisters, Cora Mae Brazier and Allene Clark, both of Huntsville; one granddaughter, Ashley Vann-Kingston of Sarasota, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Annie Westmoreland
PISGAH - Annie Louise Westmoreland, 62, died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church in Rosalie with the Revs. Bud Durham and Rodney Hammonds officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar in charge.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Steeley, Nancy Slayback and Linda Westmoreland, all of Pisgah; two sons, Ed Westmoreland and Mike Westmoreland, both of Pisgah; three sisters, Janet Jablonske of Redwing, Minn., Bonnie Guy of Pisgah and Sue Roberson of Huntsville; and one brother, Bill Brewton of Pisgah.
Visitation was to be today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

William F. White
ARAB - William Fred White, 88, of 487 County Road 1843 died Tuesday at a local hospital. The graveside service was to be today at 2 p.m. at Arab Memorial Cemetery.
Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include two sisters, Lucille Smith of Arab and Essie Hembree of Georgia.

Arthur G. Woodle Jr.
Retired Lt. Col. Arthur G. Woodle Jr., 61, of Huntsville died Tuesday at his home. The memorial service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Bicentennial Chapel at Redstone Arsenal.
Twickenham Funeral Home South is in charge of burial arrangements.
Lt. Col. Woodle was a member of Clear Creek Hunting Club and Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his wife, Eleonore Woodle of Huntsville; one son Arthur G. Woodle III of Marietta, Ga.; one sister, Norma G. Hopkins of Green wood, S.C.; and one niece.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Care.

Oma L. Wyley
Oma L. Wyley, 84, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at noon at St. Bartley Primitive Baptist Church with Dr. William T. Gladys officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary W. Dickerson and Belinda W. Hill, both of Huntsville, and Betty B. Steele of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Roosevelt Berry of Huntsville and Ether Berry-Bey of Los Angeles; three sisters, Georgia Wright of Buffalo, N.Y., and Frankie L. Davis and Maude L. Rogers, both of Lansing, Mich.; one brother, Noah Looney of Cleveland; and seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Asley Yonan
Asley Yonan, 92, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local nursing home. The graveside service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Kerry Elizabeth Holder officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Yonan was a member of the Church of the Nativity and had lived in Yonkers, N.Y., where she was active in the Assyrian-American Federation and St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Elsie E. Olsen of Huntsville; one grandson, Eric David Olsen of Birmingham; and one granddaughter, Evin Sanna Olsen of San Francisco, Calif.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Nativity or to a favorite charity.
