Frances M. Adams
DECATUR - Frances Maletta Adams, 67, died Monday at her home. A private graveside service will be held.
Shelton Funeral Home in Decatur is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Adams was a native of Lewisburg, Tenn.
Survivors include one brother, Henry C. "Jack" Davis of Shelbyville, Tenn.; and two sisters, Anne D. Shaffer and Edna Pauline Davis, both of Decatur.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Richard H. Bates
Richard H. Bates, 86, of Huntsville died Friday at a local nursing home. The funeral was Saturday at First Christian Church with Drs. Harold Dowler and John Jackson officiating.
Burial was in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Bates was a member of the First Christian Church and the Blue and Gray Rifle and Pistol clubs, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired engineer for Teledyne-Brown Engineering and a former member of the National Rifle Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia M. Bates.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol Ann Bates of Huntsville; two sisters, Thelma Bumgardner of Belleville, Ill., and Marjorie Starr of Titusville, Fla.; and one niece and one nephew.
Visitation was Saturday at the church.

James R. Jones
James Roland Jones, 56, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at noon at Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. McKinley Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Royal Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Jones of Huntsville; two sons, Gary Jones and Michael Jones, both of Huntsville; two daughters, Cassandra Donaldson and Cicily Jones, both of Huntsville; one brother, Curtis Jones of Huntsville; two sisters, Alfrica Jones and Antoinette Davison Jones, both of Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Vester Jones
HENAGAR - Vester Jones, 88, died Saturday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kerby Funeral Home with Elder Ralph Heard officiating.
Burial will be in New Home Cemetery in Henagar.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Gifford Jones. He was a member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Faye Singleton of Barnesville, Ga., Nina Hamrick of Salinas, Calif., and Marie Ivey of Henagar; two sisters, Winnie Blevins of Henagar and Toby Lee Hulgan of Tiftonia, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Leamon King
Leamon King, 72, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday atnoon at Lakeside United Methodist Church with Dr. Henry Bradford Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. King was a member of Church Street Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Fraternal Club of Huntsville, North Huntsville Kiwanis, Evening Star Lodge No. 6, Tennessee Valley Consistory No. 160 and the Association of Retired Regulars. He was a former member of Al Azhar Shrine No. 195.
He was a campus supervisor for Huntsville City Schools 18 years and retired after 30 years in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Sara B. King of Huntsville; one daughter, Samantha King of Huntsville; one son, Brian B. Ball of Huntsville; two sisters, Doris K. Lumpkin and Rose Marie King, both of Chicago; one brother, Claude King of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Willene D. Martin
GADSDEN - Willene Deane Martin, 73, of Gadsden died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was in Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Pruitt of Arab; one son, Wayne Martin of Crossville; one sister, Imogene Hefner of Crossville; and three grandchildren.
Evelyn M. Outlaw
Evelyn McBride Outlaw, 88, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Roth Funeral Parlor in Paducah, Ky., with the Rev. Robert Kersey officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Kenton Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Outlaw lived at Artria Assisted Living and was a former member of East Baptist Church in Paducah. She was preceded in death by two sons, Wilburn Crayton and James Vernon Crayton.
Survivors include one daughter, Agnes "Aggie" Crayton Carter of Huntsville; three brothers, James Wesley McBride of Lady Lake, Fla., and Morris W. McBride and James L. McBride, both of Paducah; one sister, Zenith Mae Chambley of Douglassville, Ga.; and 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Historic Huntsville Foundation.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roth Funeral Parlor.
Douglas L. Parker
DECATUR - Douglas Lee Parker, 34, died Saturday at anAthens hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home in Decatur with Anthony Tyler and Gaylon Parker officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Parker was a native of Decatur.
Survivors include his parents, Hershel and Shirley Parker of Decatur; two sisters, Darlene Sheffield and Donna Lepre, both of Decatur; and grandmother, Mattie Lee Parker of Trinity.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
D.L. Putman
D.L. Putman, 73, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Homewill announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Putman of Huntsville; two sons, Wayne Putman and David Putman, both of Huntsville; two daughters, Wanda Terrell of Madison and Brenda Wilson of Huntsville; one brother, G.L. Putman of Ardmore, Ala.; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Reba V. Rosenblum
Reba Valtena Rosenblum, 73, of Huntsville died Monday at herhome. The graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Buddy Peake officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include her husband, Fred O. Rosenblum of Huntsville; three sons, Michael Ross Rosenblum of Clinton, Miss., Fred Alan Rosenblum of Hot Springs, Ark., and Matthew Scott Rosenblum of New Market; one daughter, Susan Lee Bzdell of Elkmont; his mother, Pauline Gibbs of Huntsville; two sisters, Barbara Houk of Huntsville and Billie Royal of Florida; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Charlie D. Tucker Jr.
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Charlie D. Tucker Jr., 66, of 42 Tucker Road died today at a Fayetteville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Langford officiating.
Burial will be in Boonshill Cemetery.
Mr. Tucker was a native of Lincoln County, a retired farmer and a member of Liberty Church of Christ.
Survivors include one niece, Rebecca Richardson of Nashville; his ex-wife, Virginia Tucker of Fayetteville; and several cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
James E. Tucker
GURLEY - James E. Tucker, 44, died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Irvin Banta officiating.
Burial will be in Gurley City Cemetery.
Mr. Tucker was a native of Morgan Countyand worked for HEMSI 18 years, MedFlight for one year and the Madison County Sheriff's Department nine years. He was also a Cub Scoutleader and worked at Spry Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Melody Hollingsworth Tucker of Gurley; and one son, Zachary Tucker.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ethel L. Wright
MADISON - Ethel Lee Wright, 78, of 223 Moore St. died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Russell officiating.
Burial will be in Royal Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Wright was a member of the church and volunteered for the Madison Senior Centers Meals of Wheels program, Madison Manor and the Indian Creek Senior Center.
Survivors include four daughters, Minister Marilyn Holman of Huntsville, Regina Ayers of Memphis, Tenn., Thelma Wright of Jamestown, N.C., and Elizabeth Marks of Fishers, Ind.; one son, Willie Wright of Palo Alto, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The body will be at the church 20 minutes before the funeral.
