Corinne D. Bain
Corinne Dudney Bain, 96, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local nursing home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Bain was a graduate of David Lipscomb University.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Charles David Bain of Huntsville and Dr. Robert Sidney Bain of Lexington, Ky.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Maude V. Bunn
Maude Veola Bunn, 75, of Huntsville died Saturday. The funeral was Monday at Brown Service Funeral Home in Bessemer with the Rev. Timothy Tindle officiating.
Burial was in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Bunn was formerly of Bessemer. She was involved in the Womens Home League and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Clayton Bunn.
Survivors include one son, Randy Bunn of Huntsville; one daughter, Pamela Bigham of Tuscaloosa; one sister, Flora Lee Ingle of Oneonta; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Lora E. Cox
ATHENS - Lora E. Cox, 92, of 611 West Market St. died Tuesday at an Athens nursing home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Maberry Funeral Home in Floyd, Va., with Harold Cox officiating.
Burial will be in Big Sand Cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Cox was a member of Church of the Brethren and was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Cox.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley A. Bennett of Athens; two grandsons, Steven Holden and Jamie Holden, both of Athens; and two great-grandsons.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home.

James F. Dupler
James F. Dupler, 77, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Robert Wagner officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Dupler was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, the American Legion, the 40 and 8 Club, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Civilian Conservation Corps. He served in the U.S. Marines in World War II and in the U.S. Army in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired as a staff sergeant.
Survivors include one stepson, Frank R. Feyrer; one brother, Wayne Dupler of Zanesville, Ohio; and one niece and one nephew.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary Hambrick
MERIDIANVILLE - Mary Frances McCollum Hambrick, 69, died Tuesday at a Fayetteville, Tenn., hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include her mother, Myrtle Garrett of Meridianville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joe E. Hansen
MADISON - Joe Earl Hansen, 57, of 293 Mill Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Madison City Cemetery with the Rev. James Spears officiating.
Madison Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Hansen was a lifelong Madison resident.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Allen Hansen of Toney and Jonathan Hansen of Madison; one sister, Shirley Baker of Decatur; and one brother, Harold Hansen of Madison.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Harry E. Howe
MADISON - Harry Edward Howe, 90, died Monday at a local hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Howe was a native of Illinois. He was a retired driver for the Allied Pace Bus Co. in Chicago. He had lived in the Madison area seven years.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte "Lottie" Howe of Madison; one daughter, Dorthea Mikel of Hot Springs, Ark.; one sister, Mary Sue Morris Dick of New Jersey; and four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Leamon King
Leamon King, 72, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at noon at Lakeside United Methodist Church with Dr. Henry Bradford Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. King was a member of Church Street Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Fraternal Club of Huntsville, the North Huntsville Kiwanis Club, Blue Mountain Lodge No. 160, Tennessee Valley Consistory No. 160 and the Association of Retired Regulars. He was a former member of Al Azhar Shrine No. 195.
He was a campus supervisor at Grissom High School for 18 years and retired after 30 years in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Sara B. King of Huntsville; one daughter, Samantha King of Huntsville; one son, Brian B. Ball of Huntsville; two sisters, Doris K. Lumpkin and Rose Marie King, both of Chicago; one brother, Claude King of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Gary D. Lewis
Gary Douglas Lewis, 46, of Huntsville died Tuesday at his home. The memorial service will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lewis was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church and the Huntsville Snow Ski Club. He worked for NAPA Auto Parts, was a longtime Huntsville resident and graduated from Butler High School in 1970.
Survivors include one son, Robert J. Lewis of Auburn; his father, Robert W. Lewis of Huntsville; his mother, Virginia L. Lewis of Huntsville; and two brothers, Steve W. Lewis of Huntsville and Jeff K. Lewis of San Diego, Calif. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Huntsville chapter of the American Red Cross.
Carolyn S. McCurdy
GUNTERSVILLE - Carolyn Sue McCurdy, 66, of 550 Warrenton Road died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial was to be in Brookwood Cemetery in Arab.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Chandler of Guntersville and Bonnie Click of Grant; and two brothers, Johnny McCurdy of Guntersville and Mack McCurdy of Alder Springs.
Audie L. Michael
ARDMORE, Tenn. - Audie Lumpkin Michael, 83, died Tuesday in Ardmore. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home with Bros. Paul Clutts and P.E. Maples officiating.
Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Mr. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Virginia Michael; two sons, Billy Michael and Bobby Michael; and one daughter, Dorothy Fay Michael.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Heard of Elkmont and Reba Blakely of Ardmore, Ala.; one brother, Elmer E. Michael of Jasper; and nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
William C. Minor
TAFT, Tenn. - William C. Minor, 75, died Monday at a Columbia, Tenn., hospital. A graveside service was to be today at 2 p.m. at Blanche Cemetery with Dwight Smith officiating.
Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include one son, Marty Minor of Taft; two sisters, Bonnie McFerrin of Fayetteville and Nellie Hall of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.
Addie N. Patterson
SCOTTSBORO - Addie Novella Patterson, 78, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Section Funeral Home with the Rev. Aubrey Pockrus officiating.
Burial will be in Old Sardis Cemetery.
Survivors include five daughters, Wanda Clark, Judy Patterson, Shirley Pinkston and Vickey Pockrus, all of Scottsboro, and Brenda Price of Section; one sister, Stella Childers of Rome, Ga.; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Dwight Powers
ATHENS - Dwight Powers, 46, of Parker Road died Monday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Alton Downs officiating.
Burial was to be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Powers was a native of Limestone County, a U.S. Army veteran and a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Gaby Powers; one son, Mark Powers of Athens; one daughter, Amanda Powers of Athens; his parents, Calvin and Elizabeth Powers of Athens; four brothers, Wendell Powers, Doug Powers, Mark Powers and Eddie Powers, all of Athens; three sisters, Annette Burroughs, Kay Baugher and Kathy Carwile, all of Athens; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

D.L. Putman, 73, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Mike Allison officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Putman of Huntsville; two sons, Wayne Putman and David Putman, both of Huntsville; two daughters, Wanda Terrell of Madison and Brenda Wilson of Huntsville; one stepdaughter, Deborah Ross of Huntsville; one stepson, Robert Mitchell of Huntsville; one brother, G.L. OWENS CROSS ROADS - Marion Edwina Thomas, 50, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home East.
Burial will be in Twickenham Memory Gardens.
Survivors include two stepsons, Ron Sinecoff of Ocklawaha, Fla., and Michael Ifland of Missouri; three stepdaughters, Lynett Green of Leesburg, Fla., Linda Spurlock of West Virginia and Tammy Butts of Ocklawaha; one sister, Carla Davis of Ocklawaha; one brother, Carl "Buddy" Young of Ocklawaha; and special friend, Randy Bowers of Owens Cross Roads.

DUTTON - Jewell McDaniel Veal, 86, died Monday at a South Pittsburg, Tenn., nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jeannette Hixon officiating.
Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynda Wright and Martha Wright, both of Dutton; four sons, Joseph Phillips and James Phillips, both of Dutton, Mack White of Dalton, Ga., and Jerry Phillips of Collinsville; one sister, Gertie Mae Dukes of Fyffe; and six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Annie E. Webb
SCOTTSBORO - Annie Evelyn Webb, 76, died Tuesday at a Jackson County hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Revs. Richard Tyler and Charles Dake officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband, William Amos Webb; and one daughter, Rita Webb Black.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Sue Hawkins and Ida Roxanne Hawkins, both of Guntersville, and Mary Baugh of Scottsboro; two sons, Billy L. Webb of Scottsboro and Amos Ray Webb of Section; three sisters, Ozadale Godwin of Chattanooga, Roma Kate Hargiss of Ringgold, Ga., and Mary Brownfield and Ollie Mae Cornelison, both of Scottsboro; two brothers, James Hoyt Lewis of Scottsboro and Jack Lewis of Chattanooga; and 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
