Chiquita Allen
Chiquita Berdette White Allen, 39, of 4806 Doyce Lane died Saturday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. McKinley Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Allen had worked at Huntsville Hospital. She graduated from Huntsville High School in 1979.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Allen of Huntsville; two sons, Vernon Wynn Allen Jr. and Tyrek Shieve Allen, both of Huntsville; two sisters, Monyette L. Green and Yvonne Jefferson, both of Huntsville; and two brothers, Ronnie L. White of Birmingham and Randy E. White of Huntsville.

John A. Anderson
GUNTERSVILLE - John Allan Anderson, 34, of 1604 Couch St. died Monday at his home. A memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hosanna Christian Fellowship Church in Albertville.
Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Anderson; two daughters, Rachel Anderson and Bethany Anderson, both of Guntersville; his parents, Robert and Sarah Anderson of Maryland; and two brothers, David Anderson of Maryland and Matthew Anderson of California.

Quimby C. Bearden
BOAZ - Quimby Coleman Bearden, 57, died Monday at a Marshall County hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Albertville Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Bobby Darnell and Allan Hughes officiating.
Burial was to be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include one brother, Charles Bearden of Boaz; and three nephews and one niece.

Katherline J. Bolton
ALBERTVILLE - Katherline J. Bolton, 76, of 701 Tie St. died Tuesday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 3:30 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Sims of Hazel Green ; two sons, Charles Bolton of Albertville and Richard Bolton of Guntersville; two sisters, Margie Jordan and Nila Clines, both of Guntersville; one brother, Ted Jordan of Hyatt; and five grandchildren.

Bertha J. Floyd
NEW HOPE - Bertha Jones Floyd, 91, of 1418 Cedar Point Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Bros. J.B. Whitaker and Edwin Parks officiating.
Burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery.
Mrs. Floyd was a member of Old Center Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include one grandson, Terry Floyd of New Hope; one granddaughter, Sonia Floyd Cretaro of California; and two great-grandsons.

Teeresie George
MULBERRY, Tenn. - Teeresie George, 70, of Tucker Creek Road died Tuesday at a Tennessee hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tenn.
Burial will be in Champ Cemetery.
Mrs. George was a native of Lincoln County and a seamstress for DeLong Co.
Survivors include her husband, J.L. George of Mulberry; one daughter, Janie Lee George of Mulberry; one son, Lonnie George of Fayetteville; one sister, Aline Thompson of Fayetteville; one brother, Lawrence Moorehead of Mulberry; and one grandson.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Stanley J. Golden
ALBERTVILLE - Stanley Joe Golden, 43, of 2339 County Road 433 died Monday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in New Macedonia Cemetery.
Survivors include two sisters, Shirley Alverson and Norene Peppers, both of Boaz; and two brothers, Worley Golden and Timothy Golden, both of Boaz.

Billy Harless
NEW HOPE - Billy Harless, 69, of 191 Hereford St. died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Bro. John D. Stapler officiating.
Burial will be in Walker Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. Harless of New Hope; one son, Rickey Harless of New Hope; one daughter, Paula Hendrix of New Hope; one sister, Bernice Malone of Arab; and two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Howard B. Hodges
ALBERTVILLE - Howard Burlyn Hodges, 77, of 411 Baltimore Ave. died Monday at a local hospital. A graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at White Oak Cemetery.
Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene Hodges; one daughter, Janet Stease of Madison; and one brother, Ted Hodges of Albertville.

Cleo L. Holmes
Cleo Lightford Holmes, 83, of 3013 Love Drive in Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at noon at Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Brandontown Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include four daughters, Susie Sullivan, Barbara Holmes and Ruby Holmes, all of Boston, Mass., and Irene Holmes of Huntsville; three sons, Arthur Holmes, Maurice Holmes and Larry Holmes, all of Huntsville; and 28 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Billy W. Jaco
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Billy Wayne Jaco, 72, of Swanson Blvd. died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Donald Ramey officiating.
Burial will be in New Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Jaco was a native of Ellington, Mo., and was a retired U.S. Army administrator.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Brown Jaco of Fayetteville; one son, Tim Jaco of Chaparrel, N.M.; one stepson, William Lee Smith of Fayetteville; two daughters, Susan Quintana of Chaparrel and Leah Ann Stonerock of Kemper, Texas; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Dail Tallman of Flintville, Tenn., and Trudy Lynn Mitchell of Howell, Tenn.; one sister, Bertha Maples of Park Hills, Mo.; and 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Erin Jacobs
TONEY - Erin Taylor Wagner Jacobs, infant daughter of Michael and Carole Wagner Jacobs, died Friday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Thurday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Benjamin Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Other survivors include one brother, Kevin Michael Jacobs of Toney; her grandparents, Eloise Wagner of Chicago and Arthur and Mary Jacobs of Toney; and her great-grandmothers, Jesse Fordham Wagner of Pine Forge, Pa., and Ruby Swope of Birmingham.

Reuben Johnson
ATHENS - Reuben Johnson, 77, of 14637 Chris Way died Monday at his home. There will be no funeral.
Burial will be Saturday in Shady Grove Cemetery in Wahneta, Fla.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Johnson was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Lee Johnson, Charlie Ray Johnson and Billy Hill Johnson, all of Wahneta, and Reuben ONeal Johnson of Athens; two daughters, Annie Cline of Athens and Margaret Barton of Allford, Fla.; and 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Robert W. Johnson
Robert W. "Bobby" Johnson, 50, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Dr. Murray R. Wilton and the Rev. Bob Blackburn officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Johnson was a native of Mobile, but spent most his life in Huntsville. He worked at Dunlop Tire Co. and was a deacon and Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jan E. Johnson of Huntsville; one son, Robert Warren " Bobby" Johnson of Madison; one daughter, Kimberly Elaine Schultz of Huntsville; his mother, Audrey Lee Johnson of Huntsville; one sister, Brenda Sue Flanders of Huntsville; one brother, William A. Johnson Jr. of Ocala, Fla.; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bobby Johnson Memorial Fund at Southside Baptist Church.

Albert W. Keel
PULASKI, Tenn. - Albert W. Keel, 79, of 1041 Dellrose Road died Monday at a Pulaski hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at New Hope Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Keel of Pulaski; two sons, Randy Keel and Woody Keel, both of Tennessee; one brother, Harvey Keel of Utah; one sister, Lena ORear of Huntsville, and three grandsons, three step-grandsons and one step-great-granddaughter.

Ethel C. Michaels
Ethel C. Michaels, 86, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Michaels was an active member of the Hospitality and Friendship clubs. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and attended Elder Care at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Lawrence Anthony Michaels of Roanoke, Va., Thomas Leonard Michaels and Theodore Ellis Michaels, both of Huntington, W.Va., Earl Wayne Michaels of Tampa, Fla., and David W. Michaels of Huntsville; three daughters, Gloria Grace Michaels-Smith of Easton, Md., Kathleen Sylvia Michaels-Brown of Hartford City, Ind., and Sue Anne Michaels-Gobble of Rocky Gap, Va.; and 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Elder Care at Trinity United Methodist Church, 607 Airport Road, Huntsville, 35802.

Annie Pope
RAINSVILLE - Annie Pope, 87, died Tuesday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Nazareth Baptist Church with the Revs. Roger Graham and Steve McFall officiating.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Pope.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Ellison of Madison and Betty Ruth Haney and Peggy Jane Laney, both of Rainsville; three sons, James Hugh Pope of Tiftonia, Tenn., and Thomas Edward Pope and Robert Wayne Pope, both of Rainsville; one sister, Dovie Jones of Rainsville; and 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

LaVera Summerford
HARTSELLE - LeVera Mason Summerford, 83, of 806 Barclift St. died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. David Wallace officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Summerford was a member of Moss Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Summerford.

Ruth White
Ruth "Mama" White of Huntsville died Monday at her home. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Talmidge Clayton officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. White was a native of Carbon Hill and had lived in Huntsville 48 years. She was the oldest member of West Huntsville United Methodist Church and its womens club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert White; and two infant sons.
Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie R. Estell of Huntsville; three sons, Maurice White, Larry White and Neil White, all of Huntsville; and 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Childrens Home in Selma.

Prudy Winston
Prudy Ann Timmons Winston, 95, of 3301 Blue Spring Road in Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Taylors Chapel Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. James Lane officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Timmons, Susie Mae Anderson and Florine Timmons, all of Huntsville.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
