ALBERTVILLE - Kelton Davis Dendy, 86, died Tuesday at a Marshall County hospital. The funeral was today at 10:30 a.m. at Memory Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating.
Albertville Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
He was preceded in death by one son, Kelton Davis Dendy Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Dendy of Albertville; two daughters, Dora Jean Wisner of Albertville and Donna Lou Rogers of Atlanta; and three grandchildren.
Douglas Gilbreath
ALBERTVILLE - Douglas Gilbreath, 71, of 196 County Road 543 died Tuesday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Liberty Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Gilbreath.
Survivors include two sons, Gregory Gilbreath of Albertville and Randy Gilbreath of Boaz; three sisters, Judy Crump of Boaz and Edna Earl Hamby and Billie Nell Brock, both of Albertville; one brother, Dwight Gilbreath of Albertville; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ollie E. Hundley
Ollie E. Hundley, 99, of 2606 Elton Road in Huntsville died Sunday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Friday at noon at Church Street Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Henry Bradford Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Williametta Hundley-Huff of Los Angeles; one sister, Lillian Hundley-Jones of Huntsville; and eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
George E. Kelley
George Eddie Kelley, 67, of 6320 Moores Mill Road in Huntsville died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Royal Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Harvest Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in St. Ruth Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Ann Lemons, Georgia Vaughn and Patricia Thompson, all of New Market; one son, Donald Tyler of Gurley; and two brothers, T.W. Kelley and Archie Kelley, both of Nashville.
Katie S. Long
ALBERTVILLE - Katie Sue Long, 77, died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Albertville Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David McChesney officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Long of Albertville; one daughter, Brenda K. McBrayer of Birmingham; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Mitchell of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Tommy Lee Mitchell of Albertville; and two grandchildren.
Claud M. McCauley
ALBERTVILLE - Claud Max McCauley, 88, of 508 Johnson Road died Tuesday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include two sons, Billy McCauley of Ohio and Holly McCauley of Albertville; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Martling Cemetery Fund.
Myrtice McCoy
ALBERTVILLE - Myrtice McCoy, 80, of 2830 Whitesville Road died Wednesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 3 p.m. at White Oak Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville in charge.
Survivors include her husband, Alphard McCoy; three daughters, Martha Killion of Guntersville, Myra Glassco of Albertville and Mary Cash of Gadsden; two sisters, Sarah Dean and Lamurl Hill, both of Albertville; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Ethel C. Michaels
Ethel C. Michaels, 86, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael Sexton officiating.
Entombment will be in Faith Memorial Park Masoleum with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Michaels was an active member of the Hospitality and Friendship clubs. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and attended Elder Care at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Lawrence Anthony Michaels of Roanoke, Va., Thomas Leonard Michaels and Theodore Ellis Michaels, both of Huntington, W.Va., Earl Wayne Michaels of
Tampa, Fla., and David W. Michaels of Huntsville; three daughters, Gloria Grace Michaels-Smith of Easton, Md., Kathleen Sylvia Michaels-Brown of Hartford City, Ind., and Sue Anne Michaels-Gobble of Rocky Gap, Va.; and 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

BIRMINGHAM - Mary Lee Ortner, 85, died Tuesday in Birmingham. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Abanks Mortuary and Crematory of Birmingham is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Ortner was formerly of Huntsville and was a member of the Hueytown Church of God.
Survivors include one daughter, Lois Shifflet of Hueytown; one brother, Jack Medley of Winchester, Tenn.; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Junie Royster
ARAB - Junie Royster, 70, died Tuesday at a Chattanooga hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial was to be in Brookwood Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Royster; one daughter, Leverne Wheeler of Laceys Spring; six sisters, Sarah Tidmore and Nell Stewart, both of Union Grove, Brenda Clemons and Linda Suttles, both of Arab, Addie Lee Bolding of Georgia Mountain and Marie Dean of Morgan City; one brother, Pete Perkins of Arab; and one grandchild.
Frances A. Schutz
AUSTELL, Ga. - Frances Aline Schutz, 79, died Tuesday at an Austell hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Dodo officiating.
Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery.
She was formerly of Grant.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy White of Powder Springs, Ga.; three sisters, Jean Smith and Ruby Burrell, both of Grant, and Bernice Ledbetter of Huntsville; one brother, David Ayers of Grant; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made to the DAR Scholarship Fund in Grant; or to Helping Hands in care of Presbyterian Village in Austell.

ALBERTVILLE - Jeremiah David Traynor, 3, of 9625 U.S. 431 died Monday in Albertville. The funeral was today at noon at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was in Brashers Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Philip and Yeally Traynor of Albertville; two brothers, Caleb Traynor and Joshua Traynor, both of Albertville; and grandparents, Dr. Mary Traynor of Albertville, John Traynor of Delaware and Jim and Alice Wang of Taiwan.
James Vassar
HARVEST - James "Cliff" Vassar, 92, of 199 Clutts Road died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Wall Highway Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Madison Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ozell Vassar of Harvest; four daughters, June Sanderson of Capshaw, Frances Gene Barkley of Toney and Carolyn Faye Miller and Patricia Ann Baugher Baker, both of East Limestone; two sons, James Lowe Vassar and Jerry Wayne Vassar, both of Nashville; two brothers, Hoyt Vassar and Milas Vasssar, both of Huntsville; and 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - James Isaac Weldon, 69, died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Weldon Cemetery in Ider.
He was formerly of the Rainsville area.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Cooper of Chattanooga and Patsy Carruthers of Georgia; five sons, Charles Weldon, George Weldon and Johnny Weldon, all of Georgia, and Tommy Weldon and Dennis Weldon, both Tennessee; his mother, Anna Weldon of Rainsville; three sisters, Ruby Leich and Georgia Youngquist, both of Fyffe, and Mary Brown of Florida; five brothers, Howard Weldon and R.A. Weldon, both of Rainsville, Homer Weldon and Elmer Weldon, both of Florida, and Donald Weldon of Georgia; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

BOAZ - Ozzie Wayne Young, 84, of 803 Manor House died Wednesday at a Gadsden hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial was to be in Lathamville Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Hines of Gadsden; one son, Billy Young of Boaz; one chosen daughter, Martha Hammett of Southside; one sister, Hester Cook of Georgia; two brothers, Dan Brown and Thurston Brown, both of Boaz; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
