Lillian A. Brewer
DOTHAN - Lillian Ann Brewer, 58, of 100 Creek Ridge Road died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Byrd Funeral Home chapel with Steve Dewhirst officiating. A graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Brewer was a native of Limestone County and had lived in Madison before moving to Dothan in 1978. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Brewer.
Survivors include her husband, Buzz Brewer of Dothan; one son, David Brewer of Atlanta; one daughter, Johna Brewer of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Louise R. Wales of East Limestone; two brothers, Donald Robison of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Alton Robison of Capshaw; and eight nieces and five nephews.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Byrd Funeral Home and Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in Athens.
Jessie Campbell
SCOTTSBORO - Jessie ''Granny Campbell, 84, died Wednesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. J.A. Linville and the Rev. Roger Hobbs officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro.
Survivors include two daughters, Lillian Berry of Scottsboro and Jessie Marie Davis of Ozark; one son, Johnny Campbell of Gaffney, S.C.; one sister, Dovie Hale of Scottsboro; one brother, Isaac Roberts of Scottsboro; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Center Point Baptist Church Building Fund.
Christa A. Decher
Christa Anna Decher, 71, of Huntsville died today at her home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Decher was a member of the Church of the Visitation.
Survivors include her husband, Rudolf Decher of Huntsville; one son, Peter Decher of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Marianne Watson of Huntsville; one sister, Almuth Schmidt-Rimpler of Bonn, Germany; and one granddaughter.
Walter M. Faulkner
NASHVILLE - Walter Mitchell Faulkner, 75, of 428 Glenpark Drive died Wednesday in Huntsville. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tenn., with Chaplain Ronald Lowery officiating.
Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery.
Mr. Faulkner was a veteran of the Army and Air Force. He was a Shriner, a 32nd-degree Mason and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sisters, Faye Timberman of Mulberry, Ruth Davenport of Lebanon, Tenn., Betty Jo Spann of Huntsville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be today at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
James R. Ferguson
James Raburn Ferguson, 60, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home South with Pastor James Kelley officiating.
Burial will be in New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ferguson lived in the Huntsville area 20 years and was a native of Arab. He was a well-known auctioneer.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Cook Ferguson of Huntsville; two sons, Mitchell Ray Ferguson of Pensacola, Fla., and Rodney Keith Ferguson of Washington D.C.; one sister, Shelia Ann Wilson of Huntsville; one brother, Larry Wayne Ferguson; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Tracy D. Fletcher
Tracy Diane Fletcher, 26, of 1901 Sparkman Drive in Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. William Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Harvest with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Tiffany L. Fletcher of Huntsville; one son, Courtney D. Houston of Mishak, Ind.; her mother, Emma L. Fletcher of Huntsville; her father, George W. Fletcher Sr. of Huntsville; her stepmother, Catherine Fletcher of Huntsville; five sisters, Jolene Caudle, Linda F. Hawkins, Nanette Hampton and Rachel Jones, all of Huntsville, and Lois A. Wesley of Toney; six brothers, George Fletcher Jr., Terry W. Fletcher and Danny M. Fletcher, all of Huntsville, Phillip Hampton and Tommy Hampton, both of Toney, and Mark Hampton of New Market.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Harold C. Glenn
Harold Clark Glenn, 86, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at noon at the Chapel of Love at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Dr. Roderic L. Murray III officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Glenn was a native of Greenville, S.C., and had lived in Huntsville since 1962. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Madison County Rescue Squad, American Legion Post No. 239 and Church of the Nativity Episcopal Church. He taught first aid to area volunteer fire departments and was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Glenn Bolding and Carol Glenn Samples, both of Huntsville; one son, Robert Clyde Glenn of Santa Fe, N.M; and four grandchildren and one geat-granddaughter.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Edward E. Hammond
ALBERTVILLE - Edward Earl Hammond, 75, of 1288 East Main St. died Thursday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Albertville.
Burial will be in the Painter Cemetery.
Survivors include a special friend, Harold Baldwin of Albertville; three daughters, Linda Champanois, Joyce McAllister and Mary Beth Rice, all of Michigan; three sons, Edward Hammond Jr. of Texas, Thomas Hammond and David Hammond, both of Michigan; and 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Clyde Hightower
MADISON - Clyde Hightower, 57, of 131 Arrowhead Trail died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Columbus, Ga., with the Rev. Albert McCorney officiating.
Burial will be in Fort Benning Military Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Hightower of Madison; three sons, Dale Hightower, Trent Hightower and Bobby Hightower, all of Shiloh, Ill.; four sisters, Mildred Jones and Nora Williams, both of Columbus, Gertrude Brummitt of Macon, Ga., and Eva Alexander of Olive Hurst, Ga.; and two brothers, Harold Hightower and Gene Hightower, both of Columbus.
William Hollaway Sr.
HARTSELLE - William Guy Hollaway Sr., 76, died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry DeBell officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Hollaway was a native of Eva, founded and operated Hartselle Ambulance Service for 32 years, was Morgan County coroner from 1970 until 1982 and served briefly as acting sheriff. He was preceded in death by two sons, Darrell Hollaway and Frog Hollaway, one daughter, Lottie Hollaway, and by two brothers, Otto Hollaway and Lonnie Hollaway.
Survivors include his wife, Grace E. Hollaway; two sons, William Gregory Hollaway and William Guy Hollaway Jr., both of Hartselle; three stepsons, David Starr of Hartselle, Lowell Starr and Mike Starr, both of Somerville; one stepdaughter, Darlene Roper of Hartselle; one brother, Douglas Hollaway of Hartselle; and 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.
Marion M. Hunn
BIRMINGHAM - Marion M. Hunn, 78, died Thursday in Birmingham. Valhalla Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith H. Campbell of Madison and Patricia H. Tichenor of Birmingham; two sons, Joseph Edward Hunn of West New York, N.J., and James Martin Hunn of Washington D.C.; and five grandchildren.
Sandra A. Robinson
BIRMINGHAM - Sandra Ann Robinson, 57, died Wednesday at a Birmingham hospital. No funeral is planned.
Burial was in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Robinson had worked as a licensed practical nurse in Huntsville and Birmingham.
Survivors include her husband, Roby Robinson of Birmingham; two daughters, Elisa Robinson of Birmingham and Shannon Annette Bolton of Summertown, Tenn.; one son, James Dorsey Lowe Jr. of Birmingham; one sister, Barbara Stott of Birmingham; and six grandchildren.
Ervin L. Roden
BOAZ - Ervin L. Roden, 91, of 39 County Road 452 died Wednesday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Dekalb Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Estella Roden; two daughters-in-law, Mary Roden and Betty Roden, both of Boaz; one sister, Jewel Patterson of Boaz; two brothers, Floyd Roden of Boaz and Woodrow Roden of Albertville; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Gretchen P. Thompson
Gretchen "Billie" Payne Thompson, 88, of Huntsville died Wednesday. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Elder Ralph Moyers officiating.
Burial was to be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Grundy County, Tenn., but spent most of her life in Madison County. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Payne and Ernest Thompson.
Survivors include one son, Charles Jan Payne of Huntsville; one brother, Garnett Thompson of Huntsville; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marcus Thrower
BAILEYTON - Marcus Thrower, 90, of 1147 County Road 1598 died Wednesday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Hebron Church of Christ.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Gober Funeral Home of Arab in charge.
Survivors include one son, Larry Thrower of Baileyton; four daughters, Juanita Chambers of Arab, Catherine Patterson of Oklahoma, Elaine Taylor of Baileyton, and Sylvia Latham of Baileyton; one sister, Velma White of Huntsville; and 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Lydia J. White
CEBU CITY, Philippines - Lydia Jakosalem White died Monday. The funeral will be Sunday in Cebu City. A local memorial service will be announced later. Burial will be in Dumanjug Cemetery with Cosmopolitan Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. White lived in Birmingham or Huntsville for most of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Solomon J. White of Cebu City; three daughters, Emily Riley of Huntsville, Jean Todd of Trussville and Betty Masters of Laredo, Texas; one son, K.C. White of Birmingham; one brother, Filotep Jakosalem of Cebu City; and six grandchildren and two nieces.

Laura Willisson
Laura Willisson, 56, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Joel McGraw officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Willisson was a native of Laurel, Md., but spent most her life in Madison County. She was a hair stylist.
Survivors inlcude her husband, Jimmy Lipsey of Huntsville; two daughters, Kimberly Joy Stoddard of Hazel Green, and Leah Anna Ellis of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Edward F. Willisson of Huntsville; two sisters, Martha W. Coppock of Knoxville and Linda Turner of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ruby Wilson
BOAZ - Ruby Jo Gilliland Wilson, 81, of Adams Road died Wednesday at a Tennessee hospital. The funeral was to be today at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home of Boaz.
Burial was to be in the Friendship Cemetery.
Survivors include two sisters, Erna Ruth Daugherty of Boaz and Madge Matthews of Ga.; and several nieces and great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
