Gerald Thomas Baker, 72, of Huntsville died Saturday at a Veterans Administration hospital in Tuscaloosa. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Oaughtry Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Collier Chapel Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Baker was a veteran of the Korean War and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Ebenezer Church.
Survivors include one brother, C.O. Baker Jr. of Huntsville; one nephew, Thomas Edward Baker of Huntsville; and one niece, Susan Baker Graves of Monroe, Wash.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

MADISON - Anna Marie Beauchamp, 75, of 29727 Donnelly Dr., died Saturday at a Athens hospital. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon L. Beauchamp Evans of Tanner; one son, Albert W. Beauchamp of Madison; two brothers, Richard Elliott and Thomas Elliott, both of Baltimore, Md.; one daughter-in-law, Jo Ellen Beauchamp of Madison; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Gordon Harold ''Doc Beavers, 92, died Saturday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Beavers was a native of Lincoln County and a retired barber and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Walker Beavers; one son, Harold Beavers of Fayetteville; one sister, Ira Daniel of Nashville; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nellie M. Chambers
BAILEYTON - Nellie Mae Chambers, 67, of 193 Ryan Loop Road died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Carol Smith and Phyllis Hemple, both of Florida, Sandra Strickland of Decatur and Peggy Teichmiller of Arab; one son, James Chambers of Arab; two sisters, Captolia Malone of Arab and Imogene Atchley of Guntersville; one brother, Howard T. Speegle of Florence; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

STEVENSON - Bud Curtis, 91, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Price Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Dorothy Matthews of Gary, Ind., Virginia Surrett of Huntsville and Irene Rowe and Jewell Abernathy, both of Stevenson; three sons, Carl Curtis of Stevenson, David Curtis of Pisgah and Randy Curtis of Rossville, Ga.; one sister, Lessie Wilson of Hixson, Tenn.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jonathon M. Driver
GREAT LAKES, Ill. - Jonathon Matthew Driver, 29, died July 7. The funeral will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel McGraw officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Driver was a former resident of Huntsville. He taught air traffic control for the Navy in Great Lakes. He was a graduate of Huntsville High School and graduated with honors from UAH and the U.S. Navy Military Training School.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Driver of Huntsville; one son, Michael Driver of Huntsville; his parents, Richard Driver Sr. and Michelle Driver of Huntsville; three brothers, Robert Driver of Alexandria, Michael Driver and Richard Driver Jr., both of Huntsville; his maternal grandmother, Mildred Draper of Huntsville; and his paternal grandparents, Robert Driver Sr. and Mamie Driver of Huntsville.

Gerald R. Elliott Sr.
RAINSVILLE - Gerald Ronald ''Jerry Elliott Sr., 59, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Broad Way Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin McCreless officiating.
Burial will be in Broad Way Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge.
Mr. Elliott served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years retiring with Honors as a Chief Petty officer. He had worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Gadsden and for Heil Inc. in Rainsville.
He was preceded in death by one brother, James Elliott Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Kenny Elliott; two daughters, Pam Duke of Rainbow City and Kim Baker of Birmingham; two sons, Ronnie Elliott and Herb Elliott, both of Rainsville; one sister, Eloise Cleveland of Gadsden; and six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

ATHENS - Florence E. Fleming, 88, of Athens, died Friday at her home. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

SCOTTSBORO - Fran Hill, 52, died Thursday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Whitton officiating.
Burial will be in Shelton Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynn Gannon of Scottsboro; two sons, Bobby Hill Jr. of Bridgeport and Kenneth Hill of Scottsboro; two sisters, Virginia Boguszewicz of Whiting, Ind., and Darlene Edwards of Fayetteville, Tenn.; three brothers, Dickie Graves of Largo, Fla., and Bobby Graves and Jackie Graves, both of Illinois.

RAINSVILLE - John Ingram, 77, died Friday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral chapel with the Rev. Garry Haymon officiating.
Burial will be in Old Sardis Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Veda Precise Ingram; three daughters, Betty Jo Couch of Ider, Judy Wooden of Rainsville and Barbara Brown of Boaz; two sisters, Mattie Brown of Lookout Mountain, Ala., and Oma Faye Wise of Chattanooga; three brothers, Harold Lands of Rainsville, Coleman Lands of Section and Orville Lands of Scottsboro; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

PRICEVILLE - Josephine ''Jo Taylor Lang, 59, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle with the Rev. Ralph Henderson officiating.
Mrs. Lang was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carl ''Buddy Lang; two daughters, Sonja Lanford of Union Hill and Penny Schooley of Price ville; her father, Egbert Taylor of Somerville; one brother, Mackey Taylor of Somerville; and four grandchildren.

ATHENS - Ada R. Lauderdale, 92, of 1410 West Elm St. Apt. 1-A, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with David Jones and Kasey Harbin officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Lauderdale was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by one son, Carl R. Lauderdale.
Survivors include three daughters, Annie L. Goodin of Athens, Mary Sue Pugh and Lilly Phillips, both of Elkmont; and 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Norene Malone
FRANKEWING, Tenn. - Norene Malone, 81, of 38 Scagg Road died Saturday at Fayetteville hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at McCauley Funeral Home with Brother Don Hudson officiating.
Mrs. Malone was a native of Pauls Valley, Okla. She was a member of McBurg Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Malone; two daughters, Jane Drake and Jo Ann Buford, both of Fairview; one sister, Louise Heffner of Bakersfield, Calif.; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

ALBERTVILLE - Robert Verlon McClendon, 65, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Mt. High United Baptist Church with Revs. Bobby Darnell, Gene Lambert, Verlon Stiefel and Jimmy Tillason officiating.
Burial will be in Popular Springs Cemetery with Albertville Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Gainell McClendon; two sons, Robert Mitchell McClendon of Albertville and Timothy David McClendon of Desterahan, La.; two daughters, Doris Ann Stewart of Guntersville and Shirley Jean Galloway of Albertville; two brothers, Jessie McClendon of Sardis and Harold McClendon of Boaz; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mollie M. Meeker
TUCKER, Ga. - Mollie Moore Meeker, 96, died Friday. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Stevenson, Ala., Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Charles Hughes officiating.
Burial will be in Cawfield Cemetery with Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson in charge.
Mrs. Meeker was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Meeker and three daughters, Charlsie Peters, Ruby Meeker and Dora Hawes.
Survivors include six daughters, Edna Matthews of Trenton, Ga., Sue Parrish of Clearwater, Fla., Dorothy Gentry of Temple, Ga., Amanda Gentry of Sale Creek, Tenn., Mary Katherine Hallman of Tucker and Jean Meeker of Decatur, Ga.; four sons, Horace Meeker and Harvie Meeker, both of Rogersville, Ala., Kyle Meeker and Freemon Meeker, both of Stevenson; two sisters, Cora Dobbins and Ruth Adams, both Stevenson; one brother, James Moore of Hope, Ala.; and 32 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Agnes D. Moore
Agnes D. Moore, 74, of Huntsville died Friday at her home. A graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison with Dr. Prentis McGoldrick officiating.
Cole and Garrett Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements with Spry Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Moore was a native of North Dakota and had lived in Huntsville for the past 33 years. She was a retired school teacher, served in the Navy Hospital Corps during World War II and attended Idaho State University.
She was a volunteer for various organizations and a member of the International Quilt Group.
Survivors include her husband, Murry Moore; one daughter, Patti Starlin of Huntsville; one son, Dr. Greg L. Moore of Rhome, Texas; five sisters, Beverly Harrison of Boise, Idaho, Joyce Gibbs of Miamisburg, Ohio, Myrna Jackson of Worden, Mont., Hildegarde Guise of Miles City, Mont., and Ellen Peraino of Los Angeles; two brothers, Elmer Dittus of Los Angeles and Charles Dittus of Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rachel C. Parker
Rachel Cowan Parker, 77, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Lowell Sallee officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Parker was a native of Madison County. She was a founding member of the Jordan Park Church of Christ, a master gardener and a published poet. She had worked in various retail management positions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Parker.
Survivors include one daughter, Olivia Wall Lowe of Huntsville; one son, Kevin Wynn Parker of Huntsville; two sisters, Thelma Cothren of Huntsville and Lorene Pinkston of Owens Cross Roads; and three grandchildren and a special friend, Jim Lowe of Huntsville.

OKOLONA, Miss. - Gola Mae Aston Turner, 96, died Friday at a local nursing home. Okolona Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include four daughters, Nelda T. Johnson of Huntsville, Ala., Mildred Ogg and Margaret Ware, both of Okolona, and Patsy T. Stevens of Nettleton; two sons, Harold A. Turner and Charles Ray Turner of Okolona; one sister, Ethel Aston Ellis of Mauldin, Mo.; and 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Hoyt V. Vassar
HAZEL GREEN - The Rev. Hoyt V. Vassar, 90, died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at University Baptist Church with Dr. Walter Nunn, Dr. Harold Chandler and the Rev. Bob Vassar officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
The Rev. Vassar was a member of University Baptist Church. He earned a degree in pastoral studies from Samford University, was a native of Madison County and had served as a pastor and missionary for several area churches.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Lou Rader of Hazel Green ; one brother, Milas Vassar of Huntsville; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

SCOTTSBORO - Saxon Guy Vickers, infant son of James Kenneth and Meredith Russell Vickers, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John David Hall officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
