Lila Baldwin
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - Lila Mae Fry Baldwin, 93, of 5110 Williamsburg Road died Sunday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tenn., with Bro. Tom Seals officiating.
Burial was in Mulberry Cemetery.
Mrs. Baldwin was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker and a member of Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Harvey Knox Baldwin Jr. of Brentwood, and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was today at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

John K. Black
John K. Black, 92, of Huntsville died Sunday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Ridouts Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was formerly of Vestavia Hills and had retired from Alabama Byproducts. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a former member and steward of Central Park United Methodist Church and Mount Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Weir Black.
Survivors include one son, Dr. Kendall Black of Huntsville, and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 120 Green St., Huntsville, 35801.

Robert L. Broad
DECATUR - Robert Louis Broad, 72, died Sunday at his home. A graveside service was today at 10 a.m. at Campground Cemetery with Evelyn Brodeur officiating.
Roselawn Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Broad was a native of Madison County, an attorney for the Monsanto Co. for 25 years and was the chief patent counsel at the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Broad; one son, Sherman Broad of Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, Floyd Broad of Big Cove; and one sister, Beryl Broad Tidwell of Big Cove.

Mamie L. Brown
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Mamie Lou Brown, 69, died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at McCauley Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Bro. Mitchell Gardner officiating.
She was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas P. Caldwell.
Survivors include three daughters, Ann Gardner of Huntland, Kathleen Patterson of Fayetteville and Wanda Wilbanks of Park City; three sons, Charles D. Caldwell of Hendersonville, Billy J. Caldwell of Nashville and Forest F. Brown of Fayetteville; six sisters, Mildred Swinford, Elizabeth Simmons and Katherine Patterson, all of Fayetteville, Dorothy Solomon of Winchester, Peggy Mann of Huntland and Linda Reid of New Market; eight brothers, Homer Harbin of Alabama, Francis Bradford of Arab, Paul Bradford of West Virginia, Joe Bradford of California, Walter Bradford of Texas, Charles Bradford of Fayetteville, Ed Bradford of Mississippi and Cecil Bradford of Virginia; and 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ruby Coffman
ELKMONT - Ruby Lee Grubbs Coffman, 90, of 22327 Upper Fort Hampton Road died Sunday at an Athens nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Don Osborne and Allan Stanford officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Coffman was a native of Limestone County and a member of the Elkmont Church of Christ. She and her late husband, Herman Coffman, owned and operated Coffmans Grocery.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Layne Coffman Catalfamo of Elkmont; two grandchildren, Traci Eaton of Athens and David Catalfamo of Elkmont; two great-grandchildren, Justin Eaton and Jesse Eaton, both of Athens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles L. Farris
Charles Lee Farris, 76, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Endia J. Scruggs officiating.
Burial will be Thursday at 9 a.m. in Number Four Hall Cemetery.
Survivors include one brother, John F. Farris of Rockford, Ill.; and one sister, Delores Wright of Memphis, Tenn.

Martha M. Felker
ATHENS - Martha Mildred Felker, 86, of Schilling Street died Monday at her home. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Dan Williams officiating.
Burial was in Giles Memory Gardens, Pulaski, Tenn.
Mrs. Felker was a native of Giles County, a member of West Hobbs Street Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Survivors include one brother, Wilson Abernathy of Mason City, Iowa; one sister, Frances Cottrell of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary R. Ferrell
MERIDIANVILLE - Mary Rebecca Ferrell, 76, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tommy Bolan officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Ferrell was a native of Meridian, Miss., and had lived in Madison County for 50 years. She was a member of Meridianville Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann Sharp and Barbara Jean Lamb, both of Meridianville; two brothers, James Short of Snellville, Ga., and Johnny Short of Shreveport, La.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ruby L. Friend
Ruby Lee Friend, 56, of Huntsville died Sunday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. T.C. Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Friend worked at Daimler-Chrysler 27 years and was on UAW Local No. 1413s election and womens committees.
Survivors include her husband, Coy Lee Friend of Huntsville; two sons, Dewayne Friend and Garrison Friend, both of Huntsville; two brothers, Walter Ford of Huntsville and Charles Ford of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Lottie Hayden of Pontiac, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Donald J. Green e
Donald J. Green e, 79, of Huntsville died July 19 at a local nursing home. The graveside service was July 21 at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home was in charge of burial.
Mr. Green e was a World War II veteran, served in the 9th Air Force and participated in the Normandy invasion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Konsek Green e.
Survivors include two sons, Robert R. ''Bob Green e of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Richard J. Green e, Ph.D., of Nashua, N.H.; and three granddaughters.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.

Edna Grubbs
DAWSON - Edna Grubbs, 90, died Sunday in Crossville. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Pendergrass officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann Deese of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mary Andrews of Dawson; two sons, Bill Grubbs of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and John Grubbs of Scottsboro; and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nannie L. Lee
Nannie Lucille Lee, 86, of Huntsville died Monday at a Fayetteville, Tenn., nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Raleigh East officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee was a native of Madison County and a retired seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. Lee Sr.; one daughter, Mildred E. Mefford; and one son, John R. Lee.
Survivors include three daughters, Tommie O. Weaver of Taft, Tenn., Dorothy L. Miller of Big Cove and Linda J. Williams of Gurley; one son, Gordon L. Lee Jr. of Hazel Green ; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Edward D. Ragland
Edward Darnell Ragland, 31, of 2406 Shepherd Drive died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. William Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Jeff with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one son, Donell A. Turney of Huntsville; his mother, Mary Ragland of Huntsville; one sister, Lisa M. Turner of Huntsville; and one brother, Conell Ragland of Huntsville.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Donald Stewart
Donald Stewart, 65, of Huntsville died Monday at his home. Twickenham Funeral Home South will announce funeral arrangements.

Dent T. Tomlin
ARAB - Dent Thomas Tomlin, 80, of Arab died Sunday in a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial was to be in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Tomlin of Arab; one sister, Marie Franklin of Luverne; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Paul Underwood
ALBERTVILLE - Paul Underwood, 82, of 1327 Dan Ave. died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include one son, Eddie P. Underwood of Albertville; one sister, Jessie Davis of Tennessee; one brother, Aaron Underwood of Ohio; and one grandchild.

Oscar F. Williamson
HAZEL GREEN - Oscar Fred Williamson, 69, died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Billy Loveday officiating.
Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. Williamson was a lifelong resident of Madison County and a retired farmer.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Ann Wisdom of Ocala, Fla.; two sons, Terry Wayne Williamson of Hazel Green and Roger Fred Williamson of Arab; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nellie G. Wootten
RAINSVILLE - Nellie Geneva Barksdale Wootten, 79, died Sunday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Mountain View Memory Gardens.
Survivors include one daughter, Lee Dale Barksdale Grimes of Scottsboro; one son, Donnie H. Barksdale of Rainsville; three stepdaughters, Donna Durden of Gainesville, Ga., Brenda Carroll of Ider and Carolyn Bullock of Skyline; two stepsons, Marlon Wootten and Gerald Wootten, both of Henagar; and four grandchildren.

Pamela M. Zehner
OMAHA, Neb. - Pamela Moore Zehner, 39, died recently at her home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Mrs. Zehner graduated from Grissom High School in 1978. She received a B.S. degree in engineering from the University of Alabama in 1982 and a masters degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She was employed by SCI and the Strategic Defense Command.
Survivors include her husband, Lt. Col. William Zehner; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Zehner of Terre Haute, Ind.; two stepsons, Matthew Zehner and Curtis Zehner, both of Terre Haute; her parents, James W. and Ceacy L. Moore of Huntsville; one sister, Prisca Rae Moore of Racine, Wis.; and seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Madison County Humane Society.
