SCOTTSBORO - Randall Eugene Adkins, 40, died Sunday. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Elaine Adkins and Emily Brooke Adkins, both of Scottsboro; one son, Alan Jerome Adkins of Scottsboro; his parents, Lewis and Ruth Adkins of Scottsboro; two brothers, Michael Adkins of Scottsboro and Mark Adkins of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and his grandmother, Pauline Watson of Scottsboro.

David L. Anderson
David Leon Anderson, 84, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Anderson was a veteran of World War II. He retired from MICOM as head of the packaging division and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Bell ''Chick Anderson; one sister, Ella Mae Anderson Wartek of Round Rock, Texas; and one brother, Ben Howard Anderson of Sunrise Beach, Texas.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Colonial Walter Aston Chapter, Colonial Dames 17th Century Scholarship Fund, c/o Mrs. Carl Powe Jr., 5614 Alta Dena Ave., Huntsville, Ala. 35802.

Nicholas A. Boone
BOAZ - Nicholas Alexander Boone, infant son of Zachary and Tonya Boone of Boaz, died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial will be in Nixon Chapel Cemetery.
Other survivors include one sister, Brittany L. Boone of Boaz; one brother, Zachary C. Boone of Boaz; his grandparents, Charles and Eunice Sparks of Guntersville and Freddie and Barbara Boone of Boaz; and his great-grandparents, Ann Harris and Evelyn and Hobart Boone, all of Boaz, and Ruth Hall and Patrick and Edith Galloway, all of Albertville.

Hazel E. Erwin
NEW HOPE - Hazel E. Erwin, 70, of 2541 Oak Grove Road, died Monday. New Hope Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Ulyssess S. Fletcher
NEWNAN, Ga. - Ulysses S. Fletcher, 66, died Saturday at LaGrange. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery with Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie Fletcher; two daughters, Alma Fletcher and Sammie Fletcher, both of Newnan; two sons, Stanley Fletcher and Ulysses Fletcher Jr., both of Newnan; four brothers, Edward Fletcher of Chattanooga, Winfred Fletcher of Dayton, Ohio, Carlos Fletcher of Huntsville, Ala., and Larry Fletcher of California; five sisters, Zola Chase, Mildred Boone and Dorothy Readus, all of Huntsville, Mintha Gore of Cleveland, Ohio and Ernestine Tibbs of Harvest, Ala.; and four grandchildren.

James E. Frix
GURLEY - James Edward Frix, 52, of Gurley, died Monday at his home. The funeral will be today at 6 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapelwith the Rev. Billy Loveday officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Frix was a native of Jefferson, Ga., but had lived in Madison County since 1979.
He is survived by a special friend, Karen Baker of Gurley; two daughters, Lisa Frix of Georgia and Tammie Frix of Monroe, Ga.; two stepsons, Kenneth Baker of Meridianville and Keith Baker of Huntsville; his mother, Mary Frix of Athens, Ga.; his father, Douglas Frix of Gurley; and one sister, Marsha Mae Holder of Maxie, Ga.
Visitation was to be today from noon to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

A. Herbert Fulmer
A. Herbert Fulmer, 67, of Huntsville died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gary Ward officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Fulmer worked in the space industry for 35 years, 28 of those with NASA. He worked on programs such as the space telescope, Apollo, Redstone, Jupiter, Junott, Saturn, Skylab and the space shuttle.
Survivors include his wife, Valeria Fulmer of Huntsville; two daughters, Connie Green of Canton, Ohio, and Paula Friske of Cedar Hills, Texas; his mother, Mable Parrish of Talladega; four sisters, Peggy Hall and Louise Gunter, both of Talladega, Christine Watts of Ashland and Clara Jean Haynes of Childersburg; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Margaret M. Hindman
Margaret Mitchell Hindman, 74, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. A graveside service was to be today at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens with the Rev. Charlie Hicks officiating.
Valhalla Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Sanford of Brownsboro; two sons, Ellis Hindman of Huntsville and Jimmy Hindman of Grant; two sisters, Jean Austin of Gurley and Virginia Young of Mobile; one brother, James Mitchell of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Maudie Jones
HOLLYWOOD - Maudie Jones, 89, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Revs. Billy Hess and J.B. Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Price Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Audie Jones, and one son, Bill Jones.
Survivors include one daughter, Una Bradford of Wannville; two sons, Earl Jones of Wannville and Tom ''Sonny Jones of Scottsboro; and three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fred E. LaRue
ALBERTVILLE - Fred E. LaRue, 86, of 2363 High Point Road, died Monday in Boaz. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home.
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy LaRue; and one nephew, Kenneth Elrod of Pell City.

Mary C. Marr
Mary Cooper Marr, 85, of Huntsville died Friday at a Athens nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with the Father Tom Ackerman officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Marr worked at Humana Hospital from 1980 to 1982 and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She was a former member of the Orchid Society.
Survivors include one son, James Marr of Toney; one sister, Mildred Hodges of Huntsville; and one grandson and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at the church.

Lucille Mitchell
FLINTVILLE, Tenn. - Lucille Mitchell, 92, of Mitchell Road died Sunday at her home. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home with the Revs. Sam Gamble and Danny Bell officiating.
Burial was in Flintville Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was a native of Lincoln County, a member of Stewart Chapel Baptist Church and a retired cook for Lincoln County schools.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Boles of Hazel Green, Ala., and Jo Ann Braam of Huntsville, Ala.; three sons, James Mitchell of Brentwood, Melvin Mitchell Sr. of Flintville and Tim Mitchell of Fayetteville; two brothers, Rob Taylor and Roy Taylor, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; and 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

William R. Moore
ATHENS - William Randel "Randy" Moore, 45, of 18940 Alabama 99 died Sunday at local nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Kiefer officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Teresa Ferrell of Northport; and two sisters, Janie Campbell and Martha Newby, both of Athens.

James W. Mozley
ALBERTVILLE - James Wade Mozley, 70, of Albertville died Sunday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in Nixon Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Mozley; two daughters, Shelia Portwood and Regina Mozley, both of Nixon Chapel; one son, Hugh Mozley of Nixon Chapel; five stepdaughters, Linda Hyde and Gleamer Landers, both of Guntersville, Shirley Lybrand and Pattie Gallman, both of Albertville, and Janette Allen of Nixon Chapel; three stepsons, Gary Sims of Snead, Ronnie Taylor of Guntersville and Oscar Taylor of Douglas; one sister, Louise Holder of Nixon Chapel; two brothers, Vernard Mozley of Douglas and J.B. Mozley of Nixon Chapel; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Kimberly Pendergrass
MERIDIANVILLE - Kimberly Rae Pendergrass, 17, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Memorial Parkway Church of Christ with Kerry Richardson and Lonnie Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Miss Pendergrass was a native of Nashville, but spent most her life in Madison County. She was a senior at Madison Academy.
Survivors include her parents, Ray and Carolyn Pendergrass of Meridianville; three brothers, Patrick Pendergrass of Smyrna, Tenn., Howard Pendergrass of Woodbury, Tenn., and Kevin Pendergrass of Meridianville; and grandparents, Ken and Helen Logan of Huntsville and Jim and Mary Pendergrass of Meridianville.

Leo Perry
NEW MARKET - Leo Perry, 72, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ken Galyean officiating.
Burial was to be in Rice Cemetery.
Mr. Perry was a native of Madison County and had retired from Huntsville Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy F. Perry of New Market; two daughters, Becky Perry of Huntsville and Mary Jane Bates of Elkmont; two stepdaughters, Gail Works of Toney and Vicki Dean of Morgan City; three sons, Dennis Wilcox of New Market and Jerry Perry and Stan Perry, both of Huntsville; one stepson, Don Wilcox of Huntsville; one brother, Vernon Perry of Huntsville; one sister, Louise Baker of Hazel Green ; and four half-brothers, four half-sisters, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Rosa M. Reynolds
ATHENS - Rosa Mae Reynolds, of 707 W. Washington St. died Monday at a local nursing home. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Horace J. Rogers Sr.
ATHENS - Horace James Rogers Sr., 86, of 15916 New Cut Road, died Monday at his residence. A graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Athens City Cemetery with Don Osborne officiating and McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Rogers was a native of Limestone County, a member of Central Church of Christ, a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He as co-owner of Dixie-Lee Service Station for more than 20 years and retired in 1978 as a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife, Nella Carter Rogers; one daughter, Nella Christopher of Athens; one son, H. James Rogers Jr. of Athens; one sister, Ruth Helen Goehler of Athens; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Central Church of Christ or to Hospice of Limestone County.

Vivian F. Seger
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Vivian Florence Seger, 90, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Seger was a native of Illinois and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Seger.
She is survived locally by a nephew, Larry E. Ryan of Huntsville.

Estelle S. Smart
SCOTTSBORO - Estelle Stewart Smart, 86, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Revs. Maurice Johnson, J.C. Harper and Buford Kimbrell officiating.
Burial will be in Boxes Cove Cemetery.
Mrs. Smart was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Smart.
Survivors include five sisters, Modell Brown of White Plains, Cleo Wilks of Scottsboro, Charlotte Davis of Chancellor and Burma Johnson and Jean Harper, both of Section; and two brothers, John Vernell Stewart of Trion, Ga., and Delphia Stewart of Grove Oak.
Visitation was to be today from noon to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bonnie P. Stamps
Bonnie Anne Price Stamps, 33, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Mayfair Church of Christ with Brother Gary Bradley officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Stamps was a 1984 graduate of Huntsville High School, attended David Lipscomb College and in 1988 graduated from the University of Alabama School of Engineering. She was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Stamps of Huntsville; two sons, Dalton Stamps and Jake Stamps, both of Huntsville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Price of Huntsville; and two sisters, Karen Morauske of Atlanta and Dana Mayes of Nashville.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to AGAPE or to the Mayfair Church of Christ youth mission trip fund.

Priscilla B. Stensby
Priscilla B. Stensby, 78, of Huntsville died Monday at her home. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. Robert White officiating.
Mrs. Stensby was a native of Washington but had lived in Huntsville for the past 40 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann Hall of Gurley; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pearl D. Taymon
LACEYS SPRING - Pearl D. Taymon, 71, died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home South with Ferrell Roberts and Ken Gaylean officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Mrs. Taymon was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Taymon.
Survivors include one son, William Larry Terrell of Laceys Spring; two stepsons, Bobby Taymon of Owens Cross Roads and Richard Taymon Jr. of Tanner; one stepdaughter, Elisa Taymon Pugh of New Hope; a special friend, Faye Hoop of Hazel Green ; and three grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and several nieces nephews.

Lois A. Tucker
TONEY - Lois Allen Tucker, 65, died Sunday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Gary Solberg and Brad Sharp officiating.
Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. Tucker was a native of Madison County and member of the First Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Tucker of New Market, Garry Tucker of Huntsville and Tommy Tucker of Toney; and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

BOAZ - Ruth Moore Walls, 84, of Boaz died Sunday in an Attalla nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 4 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial was to be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Flonnie Bellamy and Wilma Dean Bridges, both of Gadsden; two sons, Gary Walls and Leon Walls, both of Boaz; and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Willodine Westbrook
ALBERTVILLE - Willodine ''Bill Westbrook, 77, of died Sunday at a local hospital. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Memory Hill Cemetery with Brother Raymond Cook officiating.
Albertville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Westbrook was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Westbrook; and two sisters, Nina Stephenson and Bonnie Lacy.
Survivors include one son, Tony Trussell of Torrance, Calif.; two sisters, Inada Lovell and Wanda Slaton, both of Albertville; and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Lorene Wilkinson
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. - Lorene Wilkinson, 89, died Sunday in New Smyrna Beach. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Ala., with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Wilkinson enjoyed fishing, dancing, flowers and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Cliff Wilkinson of New Smyrna Beach; a son, Harold W. Carlisle of New Smyrna Beach; a daughter, Dortha Tatum of New Smyrna Beach; a stepson, Cliff Wilkinson Jr. of Huntsville; three brothers, J.C. Morrison and Earl Morrison, both of Huntsville, and G.W. Morrison of Birmingham, Ala.; a sister, Peggy Lanza of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
