Edwin H. Bryce
Edwin H. Bryce, 79, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with Father McKee Sloan officiating.
Entombment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Bryce was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, a World War II Army veteran and retired after 20 years in civil service.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bryce of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
Norman Cochran
Norman Cochran, 67, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. No funeral is planned.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cochran was a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., and lived in Madison County 30 years. He retired from PPG and was a Korean War veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Anna M. Cochran of Huntsville; one daughter, Barbara Kennedy of Huntsville; two sons, Kevin Cochran of Tuscaloosa and Christopher W. Cochran of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
L.C. Couch
GUNTERSVILLE - L.C. Couch, 81, of 206 Bennett Drive died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Warrenton Methodist Church.
Burial was to be in Diamond Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville in charge.
Mr. Couch was retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority and was former chairman of the Marshall County Health Care Authority. He received the Trustee of the Year award from the Alabama Hospital Association in 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth D. Couch; two daughters, Carol Anderson and Nancy Williams, both of Guntersville; a special sister-in-law, Lola McGee; and four grandchildren.
Harney H. Easterwood
ARAB - Harney H. Easterwood, 81, of 511 6th St. N.E. died Sunday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Arab Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Boyd of Arab and Brenda King of Georgia; one son, Dennis Easterwood of Arab; one sister, Ruby Hendrix of Florida; one stepsister, Sadie Saylor of Arab; three half-brothers, James Mabrey of Gulf Shores and Bud Mabrey and Carmen Mabrey, both of Birmingham; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Lucy Hall
ATHENS - Lucy Elizabeth Middlebrooks Hall, 89, of New Cut Road died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with James Turner and Bob Carriveau officiating.
Burial will be in Dement Cemetery.
Mrs. Hall was a native of Limestone County, a member of Shanghai Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, James Arthur Middlebrooks Sr. of Trinity and Gene Edward Middlebrooks Sr. of Anderson; one daughter, Elizabeth Leotta Nixon of Athens; one brother, Charley Oneal Craig of Columbia, Tenn.; two half-sisters, Louise Harbin of Huntsville and Lorene Campbell of Nashville; two half-brothers, Jimmy Garris and Red Garris, both of Athens; and 13 grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
William R. Hall
ALBERTVILLE - William Randy Hall, 51, of 203 Andrew St. died Monday in a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in DeKalb County.
Survivors include one daughter, Misty Petty of Albertville; three sons, Jeff Hall, Tim Hall and Shannon Hall, all of Albertville; one sister, Gaynell Spurlock of Albertville; three brothers, Ronnie Hall, Terry Hall and Philip Hall, all of Albertville; and seven grandchildren.
Jonathan Haussler
DECATUR - Jonathan Dale Haussler, 24, died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be today at 8 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home in Decatur with the Rev. Frank Cantrell officiating.
Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Haussler was a native of Huntsville.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Jon B. and Delores Haussler of Decatur; and two sisters, Christy Haussler of Greenville, S.C., and Tammy Cantrell of Swannanoa, N.C.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Louise Hicks
BRIDGEPORT - Louise Hicks, 74, died Monday at a Jackson County hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson with the Rev. David Smith and the Rev. Bradley Talley officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Hicks.
Survivors include three daughters, Annette Sartin and Pamela Mosley, both of Stevenson, and Linda Sue Burson of Schoolcraft, Mich.; one sister, Glenda McCarver of Bridgeport; six brothers, J.W. Coffman, Richard Coffman, Tommy Coffman and Billy Gene Coffman, all of Bridgeport, John Henry Coffman of Three Rivers, Mich., and Bruce Coffman of East Ridge, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Charles R. Hopson
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Charles R. Hopson, 77, of 209 Bright Ave. died Sunday at a Fayetteville hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at at McCauley Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. David Tipton officiating.

Mr. Hopson was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn.
Survivors include one son, Mike and Nancy Hopson of Fayetteville; one sister, Darothy Fisher of Georgia; and one grandson.
Maggie King
SCANT CITY - Maggie King, 75, of Scant City died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Doris J. Lovelady of Huntsville; one son, Tommy King of Arab; one sister, Cecil Schrimsher of Huntsville; one brother, Thomas Ricketts of Huntsville; and five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Kristen T. Mauldin
GRANT - Kristen Taylor Mauldin, infant daughter of Ron and Freda Mauldin, died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital. A graveside service was to be today at 1 p.m. at Gunter Mountain Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Anthony Barnes officiating.
Scottsboro Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Other survivors include one sister, Kateland Mauldin of Grant; one brother, Kaleb Mauldin of Grant; grandparents, Joseph and Thelma Mauldin of Grant and Sherman and Charlotte Matthews of Scottsboro; great-grandmother, Willie Mae Matthews of Scottsboro; and great-great-grandmothers, Myrtle McCormack and Bertha Swafford, both of Scottsboro.
Joseph F. McClain Sr.
REIDSVILLE, N.C. - Joseph Franklin McClain Sr., 87, died Wednesday in North Carolina. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. McClain was a deacon at Oakwood College Seventh-day Adventist Church and a member of the Huntsville Prayer Band.
Survivors include seven daughters, Louise Peele of North Carolina, Josephine McClain and Elena Ray, both of New York, Phyllis Jamison, Christine Pointer and Jennifer McClain, all of Huntsville, and Diane McClain of Madison; two sons, Joseph McClain Jr. of Texas and Lance Ray of New York; and 32 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

Robert W. McNeese
NEW HOPE - Robert W. "Bobby" McNeese, 51, died Saturday. The funeral was tobe today at 2 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home East with Pastors Jerry Meeks and Richard Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Twickenham Memory Gardens.
Mr. McNeese was a lifelong resident of New Hope and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Donna McNeese of New Hope; three sons, Shane McNeese of New Hope, Dane McNeese of Colorado and Dustin McNeese of Oregon; six daughters, Cassie Berry of New Hope, Pam McNeese, Kelly McNeese, Lisa McNeese and Chrissy Fann, all of Huntsville, and Amanda McNeese of Colorado; his mother, Viola Dunn of Owens Cross Roads; his father, Francis Dunn of Owens Cross Roads; six brothers, Harold McNeese of Arkansas, Junior Dunn of Oregon, and Tommy Dunn, Joe Dunn, Michael Dunn and Johnny Dunn, all of Owens Cross Roads; one sister, Margaret Harbin of Huntsville; and one grandchild.
Wilma M. Miller
MABLETON, Ga. - Wilma M. Miller, 93, of 4816 Golden Circle died Sunday at an Austell, Ga., nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at McCauley Funeral Home in Petersburg, Tenn., with Bro. Don Hudson officiating.

She was a native of Marshall County, Tenn., and a member of Petersburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, M.T. Miller of Mableton; three grandchildren, John Miller of Jacksonville, N.C., Melody Fuller of Sugarhill, Ga., and Leah Miller of Mableton; and four great grandchildren.

BRIDGEPORT - John Grady Morris Jr., 60, died Sunday at a Jackson County hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rocky Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Bernard officiating.

Gertrude Nelson
GURLEY - Gertrude Nelson, 83, of 1029 Cherry Tree Road died Monday in Scottsboro. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Scotty Webb officiating.
Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads.
Survivors include five daughters, Wanda Allbert of Nashville, Nona Anderton of Grant, Nancy Holcomb of New Hope, Emily Nelson of Gurley and Betty Wells of Fayetteville, Tenn.; three sons, Billy Nelson of Gurley, John Nelson of Huntsville and Richard Nelson of Scottsboro; three sisters, Tempie Bailey, Liz King and Velma West, all of Union Grove; two brothers, Leroy Green and Randy Green, both of Union Grove; and 36 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

Ivy M. Pencola
Ivy May Pencola, 80, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel.

Mrs. Pencola was a World War II veteran of the Womens Air Corps.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Lynn Patton of Pennsylvania; one sister, Dorothy Marshall of California; one brother, Vernon Wing of Michigan; and four grandchildren one great-grandchild and two nieces and three nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
Brian A. Sanders
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Brian Alan Sanders, 40, died Thursday. The graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Lem Tipton officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Sanders was a 1977 graduate of Madison Academy and attended Harding Univeristy. He was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Sanders.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvis W. Sanders of Huntsville; one brother, John Sanders of Allen, Texas; and one sister, Emmalee Sanders of Avondale Estates, Ga.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Fayetteville, Tenn., with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Sisson was a member of Madison United Methodist Church and former owner of A&H Plumbing Co.
Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Sisson Hardiman of Madison; one son, Robert Harold Sisson of Sevierville, Tenn.; two sisters, Nancy Ross Williams of Madison and Mary Anna Ross Sise of Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Miller Sisco Ross of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
