Robert T. Barcus
Robert T. Barcus, 61, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. Valhalla Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Barcus was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Barcus; and one son, Michael Barcus.
Survivors include one son, Gilbert Barcus of Huntsville; his mother, Beulah Barcus of Ohio; one brother, John Barcus of Ohio; and three grandchildren.

Kay S. Black
RAINSVILLE - Kay Shrader Black, 35, died Sunday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Christian Center with Revs. Mike York, Roger Graham and Steve McFall officiating.
Burial will be in Wesleys Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Don Black; one daughter, Sarah Black of Rainsville; two sons, Luke Black and Jake Black, both of Rainsville; two sisters, Sharon Shrader of Scottsboro and Chris Hutchinson of Henagar; and five brothers, Larry Shrader, James Shrader, Michael Shrader, Roger Shrader and George Shrader, all of Henagar.

Earl L. Bracey
GRAPEVINE, Texas - Earl L. Bracey, 79, died Sunday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church in Southlake, Texas.
Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park with Foust Funeral Home of Grapevine in charge.
Mr. Bradley was formerly of Huntsville. He was a Word War II veteran and a member of Nativity Episcopal Church and the Huntsville Community Chorus.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Bracey of Grapevine; two sons, Richard Bracey of Huntsville and Scott Bracey of Stillwater, Minn.; two daughters, Judith Davis of White Bear Lake, Minn., and Kathleen Busby of Grapevine; one sister, Adele MacGregor of Newark, Del.; and five grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the music ministry at the church.

B. Richard Case
B. Richard Case, 65, of Huntsville died Sept. 1. The funeral was Sunday at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church with Cliff Windham officiating.
Cedar Crest Cremation and Burial Center of Plano, Texas, was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Case was a native of Ardmore, Okla., and worked for General Dynamics, Boeing and the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Lab. He served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Hofmann of Yacolt, Wash., Shari Jeschke of McKinney, Texas, and Sandra Carey of Plano; one son, David Case of Fort Worth, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Sue G. Dickson
ALBERTVILLE - Sue G. Dickson, 86, died Friday at a local nursing home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Dickson was a Sunday school teacher more than 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Dickson.
Survivors include one son, Dan Dickson of Houston, Texas; and one sister, Merle Bartlett of Albertville.

James S. Ellard Jr.
LACEYS SPRING - James Shelby Ellard Jr., 70, died Saturday at his home. The memorial service will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Abundant Life Church with Bro. Lee Adams officiating.
Twickenham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ellard of Laceys Spring; four sons, Shelby Ellard of Florida, Stanley Ellard and Scott Ellard, both of Roswell, Ga., and Stewart Ellard of Maryland; one daughter, Sharon Lee of Florida; two brothers, James Patrick Ellard and John David Ellard, both of Florida; and 14 grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Choice Life, 2006 Franklin St., Huntsville, 35801.

Curtis Faulks
GUNTERSVILLE - Curtis Faulks, 74, died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. William Bronson officiating.
Burial will be in Warrenton Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three daughters, Richardean Havis of Albertville and Margaret Fennell and Annie Threatt, both of Guntersville; three sons, Ray Faulks of New York and Curtis Faulks and William Faulks, both of Guntersville; one stepson, Edward Hampton of Guntersville; and 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Teresa W. Ferguson
Teresa White Ferguson, 35, of Huntsville died Monday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Roland Lee officiating.
Burial will be in Moon Cemetery.
Mrs. Ferguson was a native of Madison County and worked in the quality control department at VMIC Inc.
Survivors include her parents, Vernon and Linda Roland of Ardmore, Ala.; one sister, Michelle Dowden of Ardmore, Ala.; grandparents, Lessie Cobb of New Hope and O.D. White of Hazel Green ; and special friend, Howard Holcomb of Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

William C. Franks
SAVANNAH, Tenn. - William Clystine Franks, 83, died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shackelford Funeral Home chapel in Savannah.
Burial will be in Sunny Hill Cemetery in Hardin County, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, Charlyne Cummings Franks of Savannah; one daughter, Linda Clement of Savannah; two stepdaughters, Judy Donaldson of Sheffield and Janie Cummins of Savannah; two sons, Marlin Franks and Charles Franks, both of Savannah; three stepsons, Jimmy Wilkerson, Wayne Wilkerson and Jerald Wilkerson, all of Savannah; two sisters, Sally Kate of Nashville and Lurlyne Leach of Huntsville; one brother, Clyde Franks of Florence; and seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Bridgett L. Heard
ROSALIE - Bridgett Lashae Heard, infant daughter of Jason and Jana Heard, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The graveside service was to be today at 4 p.m. at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood with the Rev. Ron Hardeman officiating and Rudder Funeral Home of Scottsboro in charge.
Other survivors include one sister, Breanna Heard of Rosalie; one brother, Brantley Heard of Rosalie; grandparents, Carl Edward and Janet Pritchett of Hollywood and Eldridge and Virginia Heard of Rosalie; and great-grandparents, Leola Pritchett of Hollywood and Albert and Millie Hammon of Scottsboro.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Margaret McCartney
LAKELAND, Fla. - Margaret Bennett McCartney, 76, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Sheila McCartney of Huntsville.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Marie L. Moore
Marie L. Moore, 85, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at noon at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Mel A. Strain officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Miss Moore was a court reporter more than 50 years. For more than 28 years she recorded the Huntsville City Council minutes. She was a lifetime member of the church and was a consultant for the American Rose Society. She was a member of the Twickenham Town Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution more than 50 years and a longtime member of the Soroptomists Club.
Survivors include one nephew, J. Michael OHehir of Annapolis, Md.; one niece, Cordelia A. Bodie of Huntsville; two great-nephews, John L. Bodie of Birmingham and James A. Bodie of Atlanta; and two great-nieces, Judith A. OHehir and Ruth A. OHehir, both of Annapolis.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.

Bud J. Stubbs
ALBERTVILLE - Bud J. Stubbs, 68, of 804 Taylor St. died Saturday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include his wife, Ann B. Stubbs; two daughters, Sheryl Brooks of Virginia and Beverly Stubbs of Georgia; two sons, Martin Stubbs of Albertville and James Stubbs of Texas; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Etta M. Walker
Etta Mae Walker, 36, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Bros. Charles O. Marable, Harry Lincoln and L.R. Riddle officiating.
Burial will be in New Sharon Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker was a native of Madison County, worked at Sams Club and was a member of Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip Walker of Huntsville; one daughter, Maegan Walker of Huntsville; two sons, Coey Walker of Huntsville and Shane Walker of Woodville; her mother, Doris Nickelson of Huntsville; three sisters, Nora Stapler of Hazel Green and Brenda Nickelson and Edith Kay Nickelson, both of Huntsville; one brother, Clifford Nickelson of Huntsville; and one niece and one nephew.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m.
