Viola M. Aiesi
ANDOVER, Mass. - Viola M. Aiesi, 84, died Sept. 16. The funeral was Tuesday at Green Street Baptist Church in Melrose, Mass.
Burial was in Glennwood Cemetery in Everett, Mass., with Burke Funeral Home of Andover in charge.
Mrs. Aiesi was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Aiesi.
Survivors include one daughter, Joy Parker of Huntsville; one son, Dr. Donald Paul Aiesi of Greenville, S.C.; one sister, Genevieve Butt of Revere, Mass.; and nine grandchildren, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Jimmy E. Alexander
ATHENS - Jimmy Euel Alexander, 60, died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Barry Anderson, Dr. Steve Screws, Dr. Belon Friday and former Attorney General Bill Baxley officiating.
Burial was to be in Roselawn Funeral Home with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.
A native of Marion County, Alexander earned a bachelors degree and a law degree at the University of Alabama. He came here 36 years ago to join the firm of Malone, Malone and Steele. Today the firm is Alexander, Corder, Plunk, Baker, Shelly and Shipman.
For 17 years he was city attorney for Athens and Ardmore, served five years on the Athens Board of Education and for four years was the Alabama State Bar Association Commissioner for the 39th Judicial Circuit, which covers Limestone County.
Circuit Judge George Craig of Athens said Alexander ''was the finest trial lawyer who ever practiced before me.
Alexander didnt talk much about the major cases he won, law partner Jimmy Corder said, and there were many, including a $50 million judgment against the City of Mobile in the asphyxiation deaths of a family of five.
In 1997, law partners and clients established the Jimmy E. Alexander Scholarship, awarded yearly to a student from Limestone County attending the University of Alabama.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Alexander; one son, Eric Alexander of Athens; one daughter, Tony Rose Alexander of Athens; two brothers, Joe Alexander of Muscle Shoals and Arnold Edward ''Buck Alexander, both of Muscle Shoals; and two sisters, Dorothy Turberville of Sheffield and Frances Wilson of Muscle Shoals.

George F. Dillard
STEELE, Mo. - George Floyd Dillard, 47, died Tuesday. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Holly Sims of Steele; one son, Gerald Dillard of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; his mother, Irene Dillard of Huntsville; three sisters, Helen Cross and ElMarine McDonald, both of Scottsboro, and Nancy Walker of Huntsville; and five brothers, James Dillard of Scottsboro, Johnny Dillard of Blytheville, Ark., and Charlie Dillard, Donald Dillard and Handy P. Dillard, all of Huntsville.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Willard R. Hard
Willard Ralph Hard, 52, of Huntsville died Monday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Marshall Memory Gardens in Albertville.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Hard was a native of Albertville and had lived in Huntsville 16 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Sonja Hard of Boaz and Holleigh Hard of Huntsville; one son, David Hard of Huntsville; one sister, Noel Brannum of Albertville; and one brother, Roger Hard of Boaz.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hard Education Fund at the Lily Flagg branch of AmSouth Bank.
Willie T. Hargrove
Willie Taylor Hargrove, 89, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hargrove was a native of Smithville, Tenn., and had lived in Huntsville since 1920. She was a member of Huntsville Park Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, David Lee Hargrove of Minneapolis, Minn., Connie Blye Hargrove of Duluth, Ga., and Ralph Hargrove of Huntsville; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Meals on Wheels program at the Senior Center.
James L. Langley
SPRINGVILLE - James Lewis Langley, 68, died Tuesday in Springville. A graveside service was to be today at 3 p.m. at Walls Chapel Cemetery.
Carr Funeral Home of Boaz is in charge of burial.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Blair of Holly Pond; one son, Larry Langley of Holly Pond; four sisters, Clara Wing of Florida, Martha Isbell of Boaz, Mary Sue Jerkins of Helena and Hilda Jean Watkins of Tuscaloosa; one brother, Richard Langley of Florida; and two grandchildren.
Pauline Miller
MADISON - Pauline Miller, 73, of 254 Capshaw Road died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Fords Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Hovis officiating.

Survivors include her husband, Clint Miller of Madison; two daughters, Janie Loggins of Ardmore, Ala., and Brenda Turner of Madison; one son, Terry Miller of Madison; one sister, Irene Petty of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Curtis R. Parks
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Curtis Randall Parks, 40, of Elmwood Drive died Friday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral was Monday at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Bates and the Rev. Wayne Hollingsworth officiating.
Burial was in Prosperity Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Opal Parks of Fayetteville; five sisters, Peggy Chick and Rachel Taylor, both of Fayetteville, Yvonne Shelton of Douglasville, Ga., Janice Cothren of Holly Pond and Sammie Pigg of Huntsville; four brothers, Donnie Parks and Gary Parks, both of Fayetteville, Harrel Parks of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Dennis Parks of Douglasville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Bill A. Russell
ALBERTVILLE - Bill A. Russell, 69, of 471 White Oak Road died Tuesday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Baltimore Avenue Church of God.
Burial was to be in Marshall Memorial Garden with Adams Funeral Home of Albertville in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Russell; three daughters, Janice Martin of Albertville, Nancey Leeth of Boaz and Regina Duncan of Kilpatrick; two sons, Kenneth Duncan of Albertville and Nicholas Barnard of Jacksonville; one brother, John Lemaster of Albertville; and seven grandchildren.
Birl H. Seagroves
Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Birl Houston Seagroves, 62, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Green Valley Cemetery.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Seagroves of Huntsville; one son, Tony Seagroves of Huntsville; one daughter, Nancy Bosco of Columbia, S.C.; two sisters, Betty Lang of Bradenton, Fla., and Elizabeth Jones of Huntsville; three brothers, Claud Seagroves, Fred Seagroves and Oneal Seagroves, all of Huntsville; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

James E. Weaver Jr.
NEW MARKET - James Edward Weaver Jr., 78, died today at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Bradford officiating.

Mr. Weaver was a native of Madison County.
Survivors include four sons, Danny Weaver of New Market, Bobby Weaver and Rickey Weaver, both of Huntsville, and Gary Weaver of Coldwater, Tenn.; two daughters, Margaret Knox and Linda Williams, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one sister, Elizabeth Weaver of Kansas City, Kan.; three brothers, Benny Weaver and Tommy Weaver, both of Huntsville, and Eddie Weaver of Florida; and 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Hazelle L. Wilcox
Hazelle Lee Wilcox, 80, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Wilcox was a native of Iowa and had lived in Huntsville 40 years. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Mildred Fuller of Story City, Iowa; one brother, Roger Lee of St. Louis, Mo.; and two grandsons, Roy Wilcox of New Brighton, Minn., and Ben Wilcox of Lake Forrest, Calif. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
