Willie M. Blevins
STEVENSON - Willie Mae Blevins, 86, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Wimberly Cemetery.
Mrs. Blevins was a member of Stevenson Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by Paul Blevins.
Survivors include two daughters, Eva Belle Diaz of Pomona, Calif., and Mora Byers of Susanville, Calif.; five sons, Lonnie Blevins of Statesboro, Ga., Leonard Blevins of Homeland, Calif., Thomas Blevins of Porter, Texas, and Willie James Blevins and Robert Lynn Blevins, both of Riverside, Calif.; one brother, Calvin Stewart of Bryant; 35 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Bob Bridges
SCOTTSBORO - Bob Bridges, 76, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Revs. Billy Kitchens and Roger Mardis officiating.
Burial will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Bridges; one daughter, Sharon Bridges of Scottsboro; one son, Bobby Bridges of Birmingham; one brother, J.E. Bridges of Anniston; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to a church or charity of choice.
Ola M. Campbell
GRANT - Ola M. Campbell, 90, of 2333 Randles Road died Friday at an area nursing home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Clayton Tuggle officiating.
Burial will be in Free Home Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by one son, Sherman O. Campbell.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie C. Shelby of Ashland, Miss.; one son, Clayton E. Campbell of Hillmon, Mich.; and nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cleo W. Davis
JONESBORO, Ga. - Cleo W. Davis, 96, of 2008 Tiffany Lane died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle. with the Rev. Robert Slack officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Morgan County and former school teacher in the Morgan County School System. She was a matron of the Hartselle Eastern Star Chapter 39 and member of the Eastern Star Helion Chapter 203 in Huntsville.
Survivors include one granddaughter, Clara Diane Smith of Jonesboro; one grandson, Steven G. Turney of Huntsville; and five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Lillie Dispennett
GUNTERSVILLE - Lillie Dispennett, 73, of 2255 Grant Mountain Road died Thursday in a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be today at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Jan Nevels of Huntsville, Sandra Campbell of Guntersville and Carolyn Toal of Atlanta; two sisters, Cora Gross of Guntersville and Lena Garrett of Albertville; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Marjorie Eastup
ATHENS - Marjorie Eastup, 71, died Thursday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Eastup was a native of Limestone County, a homemaker and a member of Worldwide Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie R. Eastup; two sons, Jerry Eastup and David Eastup, both of Athens; three daughters, Ruth Williams of Jonesboro, Ark., Linda Eastup and Deborah Eastup, both of Austin, Texas; one brother, William Smith of Athens; two sisters, Nadean Kyle and Charlene Robinson, both of Athens; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
John L. Fleming
ATHENS - John Lee Fleming, 89, died Tuesday at his residence. The funeral was Friday at Spry Funeral Home with Hiram Hutto and Malcolm Andrews officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Fleming was a member of Jackson Drive Church of Christ and a retired service station owner.
Survivors include one son, Glendon Fleming of Athens; two daughters, Marlene Smelser of Bowie, Md. and Janet Solley of Deltona, Fla.; one sister, Corda Webb of Graysville; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Losie Gentery
MOULTRIE, Ga. - Losie Gentery, 76, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home with Brother Allen Stanford officiating.
Burial will be in Sylone Cemetery.
Survivors include four sons, Frank Carter of Ardmore, Donald Carter of Moultrie, Ga., Stanley Carter of Omega, Ga., and Bobby Carter of Pulaski, Tenn.; one daughter, Betty Joe Carter of Naples, Fla.; two brothers, Mitchell Woodfin of Madison and Nick Woodfin of Rogersville; three sisters, Dorothy Beasley of Elkhart, Ind., Pat Biggerstaff of Ardmore and Betty Jean Womack of Indianapolis; and 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
William H. Glover
William H. Glover, 87, of 6513 Hollow Road died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Hurricane Chapel M.B. Church with the Rev. Michael Rice officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one son, William P. Glover of Huntsville; one sister, Ann Kent of St. Louis; and two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
His body will be at the church 30 minutes before the funeral.
Ellis M. Mason
Ellis McClain Mason, 75, of Huntsville died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be Sunday at 11 a.m. at Huntsville Holiness Church with the Revs. David Jones and Erskin Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Mason was a native of Madison County, a member of Huntsville Holiness Church and was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred W. Mason.
Survivors include one son, Ellis "Mack Mason of New Market; two daughters, Dayle Gray of New Market and Gayle Dubau of Guntersville; one brother, Robert L. Mason of Skyline; three sisters, Mary Black of Smyrna, Tenn., Leona Daughtery of Chattanooga and Louise Campbell of Ider; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Erskine Robinson
Erskine Robinson, 69, of 1703 Chester St., died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. Luke P.B. Church with the Rev. Jerry Russell officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include four sisters, Lula Hereford, Gussie Stewart, Bertiera Humphrey and Mary E. Stewart, all of Huntsville.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Bonnie E. Templeton
COLLINSVILLE - Bonnie Elizabeth Templeton, 43, died Thursday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral chapel with Brother James Young officiating.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Shannon of Fort Payne, Stanley Preston Templeton and Casey Lee Templeton, both of Albertville; her parents, Fred and Mildred Patterson; three sisters, Susan Johnston of Guntersville, Janice Winawitch of Phenix City and Jennie Rutledge of Ontario, Canada; three brothers, John Patterson and Bud Patterson, both of Boaz, and Jim Patterson of Albertville; her grandmother, Estell Wallace of Guntersville; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
George L. Townsend
NEW MARKET - George L. Townsend, 57, of 174 Lark Road died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at St. Rebecca P.B. Church with the Rev. Bobby Battle officiating.
Burial will be in St. Ruth Cemetery in Hazel Green with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his mother, Mamie L. Townsend of Huntsville; one sister, Eunice Townsend of Huntsville; three brothers, James E. Townsend, Benford Townsend and Claude Townsend, all of Huntsville.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
