Varnell Bell
DANVILLE - Varnell Bell, 82, of 3282 Alabama 55 West died Monday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Bohn officiating.
Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.
Mr. Bell was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and was a self-employed home builder and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Grace Bell; two sons, James Varnell Bell and Billy Jack Bell, both of Hartselle; one daughter, Doris Bell Mitchell of Florence; and five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Harold D. Broadway
ATHENS - Harold Dean Broadway, 52, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home of Athens with Tony Wales officiating.
Burial was to be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Mr. Broadway was a native of Athens, employed at Sweet Sue Kitchens, a former member of Piney Chapel Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Elkton Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Sue Broadway; two sons, Marcus D. Broadway and Gregory H. Broadway, both of Athens; one brother, Herman Wayne Broadway of Athens; one sister, Florence McClendon of Athens; and nieces and nephews.

Estaline C. Coffman
Estaline Carrie Coffman of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Ron Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Coffman was a native of Limestone County but spent most of her life in Madison County. She was a member of Lincoln Church of Christ for 60 years. She also retired from Montgomery Ward after 44 years there.
Survivors include four nieces, Delyte Harlow and Eloise Stone, both of Huntsville, Janice George of Kinson, N.C., and Dimple Cox of California; and three nephews, Malcom Coffman of Marietta, Ga., Kenneth Coffman of Centre and David Coffman of Gadsden.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jimmy D. Evett Sr.
HARVEST - Jimmy Doyle Evett Sr., 63, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Shelby Gurley and the Rev. Ruben Gault officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Evett was a native of Madison County and a Butler High School graduate. He retired from the Air Force and the Huntsville Board of Education.
Survivors include his wife, Marchetta L. Evett of Harvest; two daughters, Susan E. Miller of New Market and Katrina E. Norris of Huntsville; one son, Jimmy D. Evett Jr. of Suffolk, Va.; four sisters, Betty Jo Ray and Nancy Newberry, both of Huntsville, Barbara Mance of Hammond, Ind., and Shirley A. Hillard of Scottsboro; one brother, Jack S. McBride of Huntsville; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dinah W. French
ARAB - Dinah Ward French, 55, of 113 Bentley Circle S.E. died Monday at a Falkville nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Laci Childress of Arab; one son, Patrick L. French of Arab; parents, Walter and Ozellar Ward of Arab; two sisters, Shirley Hulsey and Pat NeSmith, both of Arab; and one brother, James Ward of Wilsonville.

William A. Jarvis
HORTON - William Arthur Jarvis, 72, of 308 Big Spring Brow Road died Monday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was to be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Jarvis; one son, Larry Jarvis of Deatsville; two sisters, Mauline Wright of Albertville and Verlon Whitten of North Carolina; and two brothers, John Jarvis and Archie Jarvis, both of Albertville.

Annie R. Jones
Annie Rosetta Jones, 74, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Richard Youngblood officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.
Survivors include one daughter, Ada B. Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son, James R. Jones of El Paso, Texas; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ralph C. Reinhart
Ralph Carlton Reinhart, 76, of Huntsville died Monday at a local veterans home. The memorial service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with the Rev. Abi Carlisle-Wilke officiating.
Inurnment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Reinhart was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church, retired from IBM, a World War II Air Force veteran and a 32nd-degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Reinhart of Huntsville; two sons, Craig L. Reinhart of Huntsville and Curt N. Reinhart of New Hope; one sister, Lucille Maneval of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Robert Reinhart of Gibson Island, Md.; and five grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 1501 9th Ave. N.W., Miami, Fla., 33136.

William A. Sack
William A. "Sarge" Sack, 68, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Jimmy Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Sack was a native of Haddon Heights, N.J., and lived in Huntsville 35 years. He retired from the U.S. Army and Parker Hannifin Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Sack of Huntsville; four daughters, Joyce Yell of Huntsville, Susan Sack and Jean Vineski, both of Florida, and Lisa Payne of Madison; three sons, Wayne Albright and Phillip Albright, both of Huntsville, and Daniel Sack of Florida; two brothers, Harvey Sack of New Jersey and Robert Sack of Florida; and 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

O.J. Sparks
O.J. Sparks, 68, of Huntsville died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Winchester Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Hal Howard officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Sparks was a member of the church, an Army veteran and owned Sparks Body Shop. He retired in 1993.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Sparks of Huntsville; one daughter, Toni Blicharz of Huntsville; one son, Marty Sparks of Huntsville; his mother, Pluma Sparks of Rainsville; one sister, Lavell Thomas of Rainsville; one brother, Jim Sparks of Rainsville; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Teresa D. Sutton
ARAB - Teresa Dianne Sutton, 42, of Arab died Monday in a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial was to be in Brookwood Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Levone Sutton; two daughters, Janice Cox and Tonya Sutton, both of Arab; mother, Rosetta Veal of Arab; and one grandchild.

Cecil D. Taylor
GUNTERSVILLE - Cecil D. Taylor, 87, of 1444 Scant City Road died Sunday at a local nursing home. The funeral was Monday at Sweet Home Baptist Church.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Taylor of Huntsville; and one grandchild and six great-grandchildren.

Valerie B. Washington
Valerie Baker Washington, 72, of Huntsville died Friday. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Oakwood College Seventh-day Adventist Church with Elder Eric C. Ward officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Washington was the churchs organist. She was a member of the church almost 25 years.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Washington of Huntsville; two daughters, Valaria A.A. Bullock of Berrien Springs, Mich., and Devvie A. Walton of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sons, Paul A. Bullock Sr. of Washington, D.C., and Daniel Washington Jr. of Chicago; one sister, Ruth B. Buchanan of Upper Marlboro, Md.; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Carol A. Williams
BROWNSBORO - Carol Ann Williams, 54, of Brownsboro died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Millard officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Dale George Williams; one daughter, Heather Ann Gustin of Huntsville; three sons, Daniel David and Stephen Dale, both of Huntsville, and Brent Scott of Fayetteville, Tenn.; her mother, Jaunita Guenther of Saline, Mich., one sister, Wanda M. Adler of Saline, Mich.; one brother, Gorden L. Guenther of Manchester, Mich.; six grandchildren, three nieces and six nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
