Robert V. Barnett Jr.
ROGERSVILLE - Robert Vernon Barnett Jr., 80, of Rogersville, died Tuesday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Rogersville Church of Christ with Windell Gann officiating.
Burial was to be in Miller Cemetery.
Mr. Barnett was an Army veteran of World War II, retired from Reynolds Metals Co. after 30 years and was a cattle farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Alta Snoddy Barnett; one son, Archie Eugene Barnett of Athens; one daughter, Barbara Cornelius of Rogersville; one sister, Catherine Louise White of Rogersville; and four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Pun K. Choe
Pun Kum Choe, 84, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The memorial service will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Huntsville Baptist Church with the Rev. Chi, Chun Ho officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Choe was a native of Korea.
Survivors include two daughters, Kum Sun Cain and Choe, Ki Bun, both of Huntsville; one son, Choe, Gi Man of China; and nine grandchildren.
Ricky D. Cribbs
TANNER - Ricky Dale Cribbs, 33, of 10420 Alabama 31 died Monday at his home. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Judith Flickinger
BRYSON, Tenn. - Judith Marie Vack Flickinger, 56, died Tuesday at her home. The memorial service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bee Spring Church in Dellrose, Tenn.
Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, James A. Flickinger of Bryson; two sons, Brett Skarbakka and Kerry Skarbakka, both of Seattle, Wash.; and two brothers, Peter D. Vack of Oakton, Va., and Gregory J. Vack of Stillwater, Minn.
Memorial donations may be made to the Elton School Library Fund or the American Cancer Society.
John T. Jennings
GUNTERSVILLE - John Thomas Jennings, 75, of 1528 Carlisle Ave. died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Warrenton Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville in charge.
Survivors include one son, Jeffrey L. Jennings of Guntersville; two sisters, Cora L. Horton and Laura S. Mickens, both of Michigan; and one brother, James Jennings of Michigan.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Leonard Kilgore
FYFFE - Leonard Kilgore, 84, died Monday at a Marshall County hospital. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Barry Johnson officiating.
Burial was in Nazareth Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Elizabeth Manning Kilgore of Fyffe; four daughters, Mary Nell Kilgore and Marzell Sims, both of Rainsville, and Donnie Keener and Rosie Collins, both of Geraldine; seven sons, Lionell Kilgore and Hershell Kilgore, both of Atlanta, Doyle Kilgore of Guntersville, Troy Wayne Kilgore of Fort Payne, Norman Kilgore of Las Vegas, Tarson Kilgore of Geraldine and David Kilgore of Boaz; one sister, Opal Clines of Rainsville; four brothers, Ernest Kilgore of Gadsden, George Kilgore of Collinsville, Floyd Kilgore of Geraldine and Lewis Kilgore of Rainsville; two stepdaughters, Annie Heaton of Fyffe and Rosa Parrish of Section; two stepsons, John Manning and Lyle Manning, both of Rainsville; and 32 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
Eula E. McDonald
Eula E. McDonald, 93, of Huntsville died today at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. McDonald was a member of First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Connie McDonald.
Survivors include one sister, Bula Milam of Huntsville; and three brothers, Thurman Baker of Huntsville, Charlie Baker of Gadsden and Lester Baker of Iuka, Miss.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the church or a favorite charity.
Molley Mullins
Molley "Vera" Mullins, 94, of Huntsville died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Jordan officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Mullins was a native of Madison County and a member of Jackson Way Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Gentle of Huntsville; one sister, Georgia Bice Sharpe of Huntsville; and six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jordan G. Schrimsher
NEW HOPE - Jordan Green e Schrimsher, 65, died Tuesday at his home. New Hope Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mablene M. Schrimsher of New Hope; two daughters, JoAnn Campbell of Grant and Joyce Stapler of New Hope; one son, Martin Oliver Schrimsher of Grant; three sisters, Inez Martin, Nannie B. Smith and Ann Whitaker, all of New Hope; two brothers, James "Bud" Schrimsher and Erskine Schrimsher, both of New Hope; and nine grandchildren.
Earl Smith
SCOTTSBORO - Earl Smith, 79, died Monday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 4 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Webb officiating.
Burial was to be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
Mr. Smith was a member of the Cedar Glade Baptist Church and was retired from the Revere Copper and Brass Company. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Jane Smith; and one son, Bobby Earl Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Smith; one daughter, Ruby Hess of Scottsboro; and two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
Tommy D. Strange
Tommy D. Strange, 78, of Huntsville died Sept. 26. The memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church with the Rev. Doak Mansfield officiating.
Burial will be in a cemetery in Tupelo, Miss., with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Strange was a member of the Bama Ramblers Square Dance Group. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Clayton Strange.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Paciesas and Diedre Moore, both of Huntsville; one son, Douglas C. Strange of Huntsville; and eight grandchildren.
