Bertha Mae Bailey
DECATUR - Bertha Mae Bailey, 63, died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at noon at United Christian Word of God Church with the Rev. Charles Cunningham officiating.
Burial will be in Thatch and Mann Cemetery in Athens with Sharpley Funeral Home in charge.
Ms. Bailey, a native of Limestone County, was a memebr of United Christian Word of God Church. She was a custodian at Calhoun Community College. She was preceded in death by one sister, Pearl Ruffin.
Survivors include one brother-in-law, Alfonzo Ruffin of Athens; an aunt and an uncle, John and Laura Mae Malone of Decatur; and two nephews and two nieces.
Terry G. Campbell
ARAB - Terry Glen Campbell, 41, of 193 County Road 1823 died Monday in Blountsville. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial was in Gilliam Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Campbell; one daughter, Rachel Hallmark of Arab; two sons, Josh Shultz of Illinois and Jeffrey Campbell of Arab; his mother, Wennie Campbell of Arab; four sisters, Elizabeth Luttrel and Carol Foreman, both of Illinois, Christine Cagle of Guntersville and Karen Tavin of Aroney; and two brothers, James Campbell and Tommy Campbell, both of Arab.
Clyde Cooper
FYFFE - Clyde ''Runt Cooper, 90, died Monday at a Chattanooga hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at the Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Edward Mines officiating.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris McMullan of Rainsville and Dera Jo Johnson of Fyffe; two sisters, Gladys Bowen of Rainsville and Ruby Lumsden of Rome. Ga.; one brother, J.H. Cooper of Rome, Ga.; and four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Fred W. Daugette
GUNTERSVILLE - Fred William Daugette, 60, of 36 McCord Circle died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville.
Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Daugette; two daughters, Wanda Gilbreath of Albertville and Susan Van Wagner of Horton; one son, Fred Daugette of Grant; three sisters, Nell Daniel of Union Grove, Margie Wooten of Attalla and Virgie Orr of Martling; two brothers, Willie J. Daugette of Arab and Roy Daugette of Albertville; and seven grandchildren.
Rena T. Douglas
Rena T. Douglas, 102, of Huntsville died Sunday at a Fayetteville nursing home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Church Street Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Henry Bradford Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Louise D. Jones of Huntsville, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Vandee S. Ford
Vandee Soonsemek Ford, 47, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital.
No funeral is scheduled. Spry Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Ms. Ford was a native of Thailand.
Survivors include three sisters, Nit Jensen of South Salem, N.Y., Noi Hardy of Tampa, Fla., and Anong Johnson of Huntsville.
Leo Blue Hudson
ELKMONT - Mrs. Leo Belue Hudson, 89, of Harris Loop died Monday in Athens. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with Rodney Britton officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker and a member of the Cartwright Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Crowe of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., Judy Smith of Decatur and Carolyn Roberton of Elkmont; one son, Jerry Allen Hudson of Decatur; three sisters, Clezell Word of Athens, Ruby Skeets of Pulaski, Tenn. and Mable Poore of Detroit, Mich.; and seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Neva C. Keel
PAINT ROCK - Mrs. Neva Clara Keel, 83, died Monday at a local nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at the Paint Rock Baptist Church with the Revs. Phillip Coty and George Sinquefield officiating.
Burial was to be in Paint Rock Cemetery with Scottsboro Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Keel was a retired city clerk.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Hunt of Paint Rock, and one grandson, Tyler Hunt of Paint Rock.
Jennifer E. Martin
MAITLAND, Fla. - Jennifer Erin Martin, 21, formerly of Huntsville, died June 15. A memorial mass will be Saturday at noon at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Huntsville.
Ms. Martin, born in Huntsville, was a 1995 Grissom High School graduate. She was a student at Auburn University and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. She moved to Central Florida in 1997.
Survivors include her parents, Daniel and Sheila Martin of Maitland; one sister, Stacey Fitch of Opelika; one brother, Christian Martin of Madison; her paternal grandmother, Edwina Martin of Orlando, Fla.; and her maternal grandmother, Dorothea Sullivan of Cumming, Ga.
Memorial donations may be made to Camp Sechelt Vancouver Canada Underprivileged Young Girls, Camp Sechelt, 1140 Molly Drive, Birmingham, Ala., 35235, in memory of Jennifer Martin.
Johnny L. Miles
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Johnny Lee Miles, 39, died Sunday. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonny Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, John Thomas Miles, Joseph Riley Miles and Jeffrey Lee Miles, all of Fayetteville, Tenn.; one stepson, Joshua Hone of Fayetteville; three sisters, Peggy Dollar of Fayetteville, Linda Graham of Petersburg, Tenn. and Sandra Lancaster of Lewisburg, Tenn.; and six brothers, James Anderson, Gary Howard, Jeff Howard, William Bolin and Jerry Bolin, all of Fayetteville, and Robert Howard of Lewisburg.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donna B. Shelton
SCOTTSBORO - Donna B. Shelton, 41, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Broadus officiating.
Burial was to be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, David Allen Shelton; two daughters, Rachelle Melissa Shelton and Raegan Jean Shelton, both of Scottsboro; one son, Daniel David Shelton of Scottsboro; her parents, Howard and Margaret Broadhead of Spartanburg, S.C.; and three brothers, Don Broadhead, Jim Broadhead and Neal Broadhead, all of Spartanburg.

Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Callie Waters
NASHVILLE - Callie Sue Alexander "Duke" Waters, 74, formerly of Huntsville died Saturday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Rice officiating.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence Alexander of Huntsville and Ellery Waters of Nashville; three daughters, Shellie Erskine of Huntsville and Sharon Bush and Sonja Sales, both of Nashville; and 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Inez West
ATTALLA - Inez Elnora Holland West, 90, died Tuesday at a Marshall County hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Clifford West Sr., and two grandchildren, Tony Whisenant and Patricia Kelley.
Survivors include two daughters, Wynona Whisenant of Attalla and Ardella Kelley of Fort Payne; one son, W.C. West Jr. of Boaz; one sister, Bertha Stephens of Sardis; and 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
