Barney E. Barron
CLARKSDALE, Miss. - Barney E. Barron, 93, died Saturday at a Greenville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at National Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Barron was a former resident of Huntsville. While in Huntsville he was a foreman for Margaret Mills until it closed in the late 1930s. He was a member of the Clarksdale Masonic Lodge 286 F&AM and a past officer of York Rite bodies.
Mr. Barron was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Fay Jones Barron.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Helen Green of Clarksdale and Margie Ruth Smith of Greenville; three sons, Charles L. Barron of Clarksdale, James Barron of Weatherford, Texas, and Frank Barron of Huntsville; and 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Irby E. Bryant
PISGAH - Irby E. ''Papa Happy Meal Bryant, 66, died Saturday at a Memphis hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Revs. Kenneth Hall and James Bryant officiating.
Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant was a veteran and a member of the Mahan Masonic Lodge 490 in Henagar.
Survivors include his wife, Willow Dean Bryant; one daughter, Pamela Brock of Pisgah; three sons, Jeffery Bryant of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Richard Bryant and Michael Bryant, both of Henagar; and nine grandchildren.
Cynthia Burton
GRANT - Cynthia Burton, 51, died Saturday at an area hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Grant Memorial Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Burnard Andrews officiating.
Burial will be in Panquin Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Burton of Grant; one daughter, Mendy Zan Burton of Grant; and three sisters, Elaine Kirkland Summers, Sonya Kirkland and Valerie Kirkland Ridenour, all of Grant.
Charlene W. Clouse
Charlene Webb Clouse, 72, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home in Decatur with the Rev. W.K. Stephenson officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mrs. Clouse was a native of Marshall County and former resident of Decatur. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Clouse and one son, James ''Jimmy Clouse.
Survivors include one son, Robert ''Sonny Clouse of Bencia, Calif.; two daughters, Janice Clouse and Robin Clouse, both of Huntsville; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Roger K. Croft
GERALDINE - Roger Kent ''Frog Croft, 42, died Saturday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home chapel.
Burial was in Skyrum Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Croft; two daughters, Krystle Croft and K.C. Croft, both of Geraldine; two sons, Michael Croft and Kevin Croft, both of Geraldine; his mother, Katie Sue Croft of Geraldine; and one brother, Karey Croft of Geraldine.
Frances J. Faulkner
Frances Jean Faulkner, 77, of Huntsville died Wednesday at her home. Spry Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Mrs. Faulkner was a native of Manchester, Tenn., and had lived in Huntsville for the past year.
Survivors include one daughter, Marijean Bibb of Huntsville; and three grandchildren, John Michael Flatt of Duluth, Ga., Mark Alan Flatt of Alexandria, Va., and Leslie Shannon Bibb of Huntsville.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Huntsville Botanical Garden.
Louise H. Jones
PULASKI, Tenn. - Louise Hall Jones, 73, died Sunday. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Cash Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, James Clinton Hall of Elkmont, Ala.; two daughters, Brenda Vasser of Atlanta and Sandra Roper of Toney; one sister, Trudell Jones of Madison; one brother, William Davis of Toney; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Anthony P. Lanza
ROSALIE - Anthony Paul ''Toney Lanza, 68, died Friday at his home. The funeral was Sunday at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Billy Coffman officiating.
Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery.
Mr. Lanza was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Faye Lanza; two stepdaughters, Rita Bingham and Connie Dooley, both of Calhoun, Ga.; four stepsons, Bud Franks of Fyffe, Randy Long, Tommy Franks and Richard Franks, all of Calhoun, Ga.; and 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Herman D. Mullins
Herman Daniel ''Danny Mullins, 62, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral chapel with Bro. Tommy Rosenblum officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Mullins was a charter life member of the American Motorcycle Association, BMW Motorcycle Owners Association and a life member of the NRA.
Survivors include two sons, Nick Mullins of Huntsville and Christopher David Mullins of Sicily; his mother, Elizabeth Mullins of Huntsville; two grandchildren; and a special friend, Marilyn Poffenberger of Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Walter L. Power
MADISON - Walter Lee ''Walt Power, 67, died Sunday at his home. Spry Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Power; one daughter, Fonda Young of Huntsville; one son, Walter Power Jr. of Huntsville; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

M. Joan Scheurer
M. Joan Scheurer, 60, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith R. Cook officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Scheurer was a native of Manitowoc, Wis., and had lived in Huntsville for 12 years. She was a graduate of Elmhurst College and received her degree in elementary education.
Survivors include her husband, Chuck Scheurer; one daughter, Jill Smith; one son, Charlie Scheurer; one sister, Ginger Baryenbruch; one brother, Edward Schmitz; and two granddaughters.

GUNTERSVILLE - Sarah Odell Smith, 90, of 744 Burrough Drive died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Carr Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Old Prospect Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Lillie Stott of Albertville and Zelma Lefevor of Huntsville; three sons, James Smith and Cleo Smith, both of Guntersville, and Donald Smith of Anniston; two sisters, Pauline Treece of Winston County and Mattie Smith of Albertville; two brothers, Howard Lemley of Guntersville and Willie Lemley of Albertville; and 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Eugenia W. Speake
MADISON - Eugenia Walker Speake died Saturday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Dr. Allen Weatherly officiating.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. William Grubb of Birmingham; one brother, Joseph Paul Walker Jr. of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
