LACEY'S SPRING - J.P. Atchley, 87, died today at a Hartselle hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home South with Bro. James Bridges officiating.
Burial will be in Piney Grove Holiness Church Cemetery in Lacey's Spring.
Survivors include six sons, G.W. Atchley, Billy Atchley, Charles Atchley and Bobby Atchley, all of Lacey's Spring, Jerry Atchley of Valhermoso Springs and Paul Atchley of Madison; two brothers, George Atchley of Gurley and L.D. Atchley of Rome, Ga.; and 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
James F. Cabler
GUNTERSVILLE - James Francis Cabler, 86, of Guntersville died Thursday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Garden.
Survivors include three sons, Terrell Cabler of Guntersville, Douglas Cabler of Missouri and Sidney Cabler of Tennessee; one sister, Nancy Poarch of Tennessee; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Geneva P. Dixon
Geneva Powell Dixon, 82, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one sister, Annie Powell Pride of Huntsville; and two brothers, Maurice Powell and William Hollis Powell, both of Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Glenn Gilliam
GRANT - Glenn Gilliam, 54, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Ingram and Glen Chapman officiating.
Burial will be in Gross Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Ivey Gilliam; two daughters, Cindy Strawn of Section and Robin Scarborough of Dutton; one son, Tracy Gilliam of Grant; his mother, Siney Gilliam of Dutton; four sisters, Mary Goins and Lila McCrary, both of Scottsboro, Betty Kenny of Dutton and Karen Moore of Langston; three brothers, Johnny Gilliam of Limrock, Larry Gilliam of Bridgeport and Wayne Gilliam of Scottsboro; and four grandchildren.
L. Kunjamma
Laxmykutty Kunjamma, 84, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 4 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kunjamma was a native of India and had lived in Huntsville two years.
Survivors include two sons, Pabmanabha Kumar of Huntsville and Pabmanabha Ravindra Natha Panicker of Edison, N.J.
Visitation will be today from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Glenn A. Malone
MADISON - Glenn A. Malone, 67, died Thursday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Mr. Malone worked for Electroformed Nickel Inc., and was active in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Malone of Cohasset, Mass., and Kevin Malone of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Sarah Malone, Charlotte Malone and Whitney Malone, all of Cohasset.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.
Ruthie Martin
HARTSELLE - Ruthie Jean Kirby Martin, 62, of 12 North Robinson Road died Thursday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Vincent officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was a nurse's aide supervisor at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville.
Survivors include her husband, James L. Martin Sr.; one son, James Louis Martin Jr. of Hartselle; one daughter, Judy Ann Peck of Hartselle; one brother, Joe Kirby of Arab; one sister, Faye Bradford of Falkville; and five grandchildren.
James McCullars
BOAZ - James ''Mickey'' McCullars, 54, of 213 Snead St., died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra R. McCullars of Cleveland; father, J.V. McCullars; two sisters, Melinda Fieger of Rockledge and Tammy McCullars of Boaz; two brothers, Steve K. McCullars of Boaz and Donald R. McCullars of Texas; and two grandchildren.
Mary S. Neill
Mary Scott "Renzee" Neill, 83, of Huntsville died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Green officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Neill was a member of Westlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Buford Neill of Huntsville; two sons, William Neill of Huntsville and Charles Neill of Harvest; one sister, Rettie McCormick of Huntsville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jackie R. Sims ALBERTVILLE - Jackie Ray Sims, 55, of 225 5 Sides Road, died Wednesday in Newark, N.J. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Sardis Church of God.
Burial will be in Pleasant Grove No. 2 Cemetery with Adams Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Irene E. Sims; one son, Kenny Ingram of Albertville; four sisters, Nellie Kittles, Mittie Edmonds, Martha Stevens and Dorothy Nailor, all of Albertville; four brothers, Bobby Sims of Horton and Roger Sims, Neal Sims and Gary Sims, all of Albertville; and three grandchildren.
Irene G. Sullivan
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Irene G. Sullivan, 83, of 193 Smith Mill Road died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Rhea West officiating.
Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
Mrs. Sullivan was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker and a member of Corders Crossroads Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Montie Hollis of Fayetteville; one sister, Sue Swinford of Franklin, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Rose H. Swearengin
WOODVILLE - Rose Henshaw Swearengin, 100, died Thursday at North Jackson Nursing Home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Bostic Hill United Methodist Church with the Revs. Al Helton and Tim Gifford officiating.
Burial will be in Henshaw Cemetery with Scottsboro Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Swearengin was preceded in death by her husband, John Swearengin; and one daughter, Rose Sybil Swearengin.
Survivors include three daughters, Jewel Clark, Ruth Baker and Peggy Gifford, all of Woodville; three sons, James Buis Swearengin of Woodville, John A. Swearengin of Tavares, Fla., and Clyde Swearengin of Huntland, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Jerry W. Watson
HARTSELLE - Jerry Wayne Watson, 43, of 1612 Penn Road died Friday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Revs. Jack Lemmond and Jerry DeBell officiating.
Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Watson was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a design developer with 3M Co.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Jackson Watson; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Watson of Hartselle; one son, David Wayne Watson of Hartselle; two daughters, Kathrine Nicole Britt of Hartselle and Karen Melissa Barnett of Decatur; one brother, Johnny Watson of Hartselle; one sister, Brenda Smith of Hartselle; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
