ARAB - Mike Barnes, 48, of 432 Barnes Road died Monday at a local hospital. The graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Arab Memorial Cemetery.
Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Barnes; one son, Michael B. Barnes of Arab; one stepson, Tyler Sparks of Arab; parents, James and Mary Barnes of Joppa; two sisters, Sandra Grace of Somerville and Sharon Spruiel of Arab; two brothers, Danny Barnes of Joppa and Larry Barnes of Arab; and one grandchild.
Carla J. Bey
HAZEL GREEN - Carla Jean Bey, 34, of Monee Lane died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. Gallant Funeral Home chapel in Hazel Green with the Rev. Raymond Berry and Dr. Joel Carwile officiating.
Burial will be in Charity Cemetery.
Mrs. Bey was a native of Toledo, Ohio, and a housewife.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Bey of Hazel Green ; one daughter, Ashley Marie Bey of Hazel Green ; one son, Randy Louis Bey of Hazel Green ; her parents, Carlton L. and Patricia A. Westfall of Huntsville; two sisters, Charlotte A. Merrell of Toney and Jessica H. Roggensack of Hanceville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Charles E. Blackburn
WINCHESTER, Tenn. - Charles Everett Blackburn, 57, of 52 Bingham Court died Sunday. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at New Hope Church of Christ with Bro. Carl Siegenthaler officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery with Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Blackburn was a native of Florence.
Survivors include his wife, Laurel Blackburn of Winchester; one daughter, Angela Carmon Hunt of The Colony, Texas; one son, John David Blackburn of Nashville; his father, Buford Clyde Blackburn of Florence; and one grandson.
Memorial donations may be made to Mars Hill Bible School in Florence or Freed-Haredeman University in Henderson, Tenn.
James A. Bledsoe
PULASKI, Tenn. - James Almus Bledsoe, 84, of 792 Speiden Road died Monday at a Nashville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. Dwight Bledsoe officiating.
Burial will be in Center Point Cemetery.
Mr. Bledsoe was a native of Giles County. He was a retired farmer and well driller and a member of Bradshaw Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Cathcart Bledsoe of Pulaski; one daughter, Sarah Pendergrass of Fayetteville; four sons, Jesse Bledsoe of Pulaski; Louis Bledsoe of Elora, Tenn., Tommy Bledsoe of Lewisburg, Tenn., and Edward Bledsoe of Kelso, Tenn.; two sisters, Elizabeth Shackelford of Pulaski and Mary McGee of Nashville; one brother, John Bledsoe of Pulaski; and eight grandchildren.

GRANT - Charles Leon Brewer, 73 of 1800 Old Union Road died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Grant Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bros. Clayton Tuggle and Brian Jenkins officiating.
Burial was in Panquin Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Brewer of Grant; one daughter, Judith Carolyn Mayhall of Grant; three sons, Allen Dale Brewer of Parrish, Danny Lynn Brewer of Adamsville and Michael Kevin Brewer of Georgia; three sisters, Flora Sims of Guntersville, Ruby Chandler of Albertville and Paula Cash of Atlanta; two brothers, Donald Brewer and Phillip Brewer, both of Grant.

Patricia J. Carnegie
MERIDIANVILLE - Patricia J. Carnegie, 66, died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jim Matthews and Bro. George Cobb officiating.
Entombment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Carnegie was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Meridianville.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Carnegie; two daughters, Nancy Schremser of New Market and Vicki C. Milam of Huntsville; one sister, Margaret Daye of Scottsboro; two brothers, Kenneth Utterback of Ohio and John Utterback of Kansas; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

ATHENS - Mable Garrett Cox, 76, of 1110 East Pryor St. died Sunday at a Nashville hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced by McConnell Funeral Home.
Wilma S. Crews
HAZEL GREEN - Wilma Sandy Crews, 58, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with David Mills officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Crews was a native of Huntsville, a member of the Church of Christ and retired from Volunteers of America.
Survivors include her husband, Roland D. Crews of Hazel Green ; two daughters, Gina Vogel of Huntsville and Diane Riesert of Rosswell, Ga.; five sons, Sam Weatherly of Long Beach, Calif., Tony Weatherly of Scottsboro, David Crews of Chicago, Stacey Crews of Madison and Chris Crews of Huntsville; one brother, Otis Perry of New Market; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

ATHENS - Barry Dwayne Davis, 31, of 7451 Barker Road died Saturday in Limestone County. The graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Brother Tim Keenum officiating.

Mr. Davis was a native of Morgan County and attended West Limestone High School.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Hargrove Davis; one daughter, Breanna Nicole Davis of Athens; his parents, Greg and Jane Davis of Athens; one brother, Bruce Davis of Athens; grandmothers, Evelyn Davis and Eunice Crouch, both of Athens; and several aunts and uncles.
Nile O. Goode
ROGERSVILLE - Nile Ordonia Goode, 80, died Thursday at his home. The funeral was Monday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with Tom Holland officiating.
Burial was in Sandlin Cemetery.
Mr. Goode was a native of Limestone County, an Army veteran of World War II, retired from TVA, and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frenchie Adell Goode, and two sons, Nile Goode Jr. and R. Timothy Goode.
Survivors include one son, Naaman Goode of Huntsville; one daughter, Nila Patton of Rock Island, Tenn.; two sisters, Ruth Trousdale of Rogersville and Nola Parker of Chattanooga; and six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Houston E. Hastings
HARTSELLE - Houston Elmo Hastings, 72, of 102 Weinman St. died today at his home. Peck Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
David A. Highsmith
ATHENS - David Alvin Highsmith, 60, of 15735 Kings Drive died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Hooper and the Rev. Donald Blevins officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Patterson of Athens; two daughters, Tina Sisco of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Lisa Walker of Athens; two stepdaughters, Cindy Tolbert of Ardmore, Ala., and Tina Walker of Athens; his mother, Lois Clem of Athens; his stepfather, Thomas Clem of Athens; two sisters, Linda Haney and Judy Goode, both of Athens; one brother, Thomas Dean Clem of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

ATHENS - Anna K. Johnson, 87, of 16601 Greer St. died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville with the Rev. John Collett officiating.
Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Shriver class at Belmont Methodist Church in Nashville and was a worthy matron and former member of the Rock City Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence F. Johnson Jr. of Athens and David H. Johnson of Frisco, Colo.; one daughter, Barbara Ann Robb of Midwest City, Okla.; and six grandchildren.

Mary Legg
ATHENS - Mary Elizabeth ''Bettie'' Easter Legg, 74, died Sunday at her home. The graveside service will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Athens City Cemetery.
McConnell Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Legg was a native of Athens, a 1946 graduate of Auburn University, operated a kindergarten, was a home economics teacher at Athens High School and a mathematics teacher at Huntsville High School and was a merchant for more than 20 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Beth Ford of Gadsden; two sons, Milton Legg of Athens and Will Legg of Birmingham; two sisters, Martha Easter of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Lutie Shamburger of Tuscaloosa; and four grandchildren.

Ruby B. Lowe
Ruby B. Lowe, 81, of Huntsville died Monday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Robbie Parker officiating.
Burial will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, Ga.
Survivors include one son, Lamar C. Fritt of Huntsville; one brother, Cecil Bazzell of Yuma, Ariz.; one sister, Katherine Smoot of Concord, Ga.; and eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ralph W. Maner
HARTSELLE - Ralph Wilson Maner, 78, of 212 Haig St. died Friday at his home. The funeral was Sunday at Peck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Maner was a self-employed barber, a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Burline R. Maner; one son, Randy G. Maner of Hartselle; one daughter, Rhonda Owens of Hartselle; one brother, Joe Maner of Tuscumbia; three sisters, Clendora Bowden of California, Lillian Collins of Trinity and Evelyn Fetterman of Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mamie P. Maples
NEW HOPE - Mamie Patterson Maples, 86, died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Cave Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Green and the Rev. Pete Brewer officiating.
Burial will be in Byrd Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge.
She was a member of the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Brown of Decatur and Patricia Cosby of Adairsville, Ga.; three sons, Dewey Wayne Maples and Donald Ray Maples, both of New Hope, and Lindsey Maples of Lynchburg, Tenn.; four sisters, Dorothy Elkins, Evelyn Hopkins and Virgie Maples, all of New Hope, and Thelma Patterson of Decatur; two brothers, William Patterson of Huntsville and Ralph Patterson of New Hope; and 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

ALBERTVILLE - Grace Gaskin McCormick, 87, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be in Lathamville Cemetery.
Survivors include two brothers, Orange Gaskin of Boaz and Cornelius Gaskin of Guntersville; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

DECATUR - Pauline Blackwell Miller, 90, of 908 Wildwood Road S.W. died Sunday. The graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Athens City Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Sharman III officiating.

Mrs. Miller was a native of Limestone County and attended First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Ball of Decatur and Joyce Wales of Madison; one son, Kenneth Miller of Montgomery; two brothers, Carlos Blackwell of Athens and Robert Blackwell of Madison; and six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Woodie Mitchell Jr.
Woodie Mitchell Jr., 72, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. The memorial service was today at noon at Royal Funeral Home chapel.
Survivors include one daughter, Muriel Tuck of Huntsville; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Doyce B. Parker
Doyce Brooks Parker, 64, of Huntsville died Monday at her home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Parker was a native of Madison County.
Survivors include two brothers, Aubrey Brooks and J.R. Brooks, both of Huntsville; one sister, Gayle Whitehair of San Antonio, Texas; and one granddaughter and 12 nieces and nephews.

DECATUR - James Bryant ''J.B.'' Richards, 47, died Sunday at a local hospital. A military service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Mark Posey and Barry Binion officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Richards was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a pipe welder.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Richards; one stepson, Aaron Clark of Decatur; one stepdaughter, Jaimee Clark of Decatur; two sisters, Susan Langley of Corinth, Miss., and Lori Richards of Hardy, Ark.; his parents, H.B. and Helen Richards of Hardy; and one grandson.

MADISON - Lori Anne Ste- phens, 10, died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Miss Stephens was a 5th-grader at Monrovia Middle School and a member of the Madison Church of Christ.
Survivors include her parents, Stan and Kathy Stephens of Madison; one sister, Christi Marie Stephens of Madison; and grandparents, Ed and Janie Stephens and Charles and Jane Crane, all of Madison.
