ARAB - Donald T. Aukerman, 65, of Arab died Tuesday at his home. A graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Brookwood Cemetery.
Gober Funeral Home of Arab was in charge of burial.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Aukerman; three daughters, Terri Fugate and Ann Aukerman, both of Kentucky, and Vicki Steelman of Huntsville; one son, Del Aukerman of Kentucky; one sister, Jane Marty of Ohio; and five grandchildren.
Pansy V. Barr
ALBERTVILLE - Pansy V. Barr, 82, died Monday at her home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Funeral Home chapel with Evengelist R.W. Gray officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Barr of Albertville; one son, Eugene Barr of Birmingham; one sister, Pauline W. "Polly" Underwood of Albertville; and several nieces and nephews.
Berdie B. Blackwood
OWENS CROSS ROADS - Berdie B. Blackwood, 84, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was today at 1 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Bob Hutchinson officiating.
Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Berdie Ann Blackwood, Roda Mae Blackwood and Betty Jo Thurman, all of New Hope; five sons, Charlie W. Lanier of Ridgley, Tenn., Moreal Elbert Lanier and Donny Lanier, both of Owens Cross Roads, Billy Mack McQuiston of New Hope and James McQuiston of Benton Harbor, Mich.; two stepdaughters, Cora Mae Dickerson of Chattanooga and Arlene Harrison of Bessemer; two stepsons, Gary Blackwood of Oklahoma and James W. Blackwood of Oneonta; and 31 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Leonard A. Cprek
HARVEST - Leonard A. Cprek, 70, died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Jim M. Edge officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Cprek was a member of the church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Cprek of Harvest; one son, Leonard Dale Cprek of Kentucky; one daughter, Jill A. Croland of Atlanta; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Wilma S. Crews
HAZEL GREEN - Wilma Sandy Crews, 58, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home chapel with David Mills officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Crews was a native of Huntsville, a member of the Church of Christ and retired from Volunteers of America.
Survivors include her husband, Roland D. Crews of Hazel Green ; two daughters, Gina Vogel of Huntsville and Diane Riesert of Rosswell, Ga.; five sons, Sam Weatherly of Long Beach, Calif., Tony Weatherly of Scottsboro, David Crews of Chicago, Stacey Crews of Madison and Chris Crews of Huntsville; her father and stepmother, Oliver G. and Catherine Perry of Huntsville; one brother, Otis Perry of New Market; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Crowley
Dorothy Crowley, 74, of Huntsville died today. Twickenham Funeral Home South will announce funeral arrangements.
Charline S. Davis
LACEY'S SPRING - Charline S. Davis, 71, died Tuesday in Decatur. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Hough Cemetery in Lacey's Spring.
Mrs. Davis was a native of DeKalb County, but spent most her life in Morgan County.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Morrison and Carla Davis, both of Lacey's Spring; two sons, Billy J. Davis of Morgan City and James E. Davis of Lacey's Spring; three brothers, James McGee of Price ville, James Conley of Tuscaloosa and Joe Stiles of Morgan City; and 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
John L. Fleming
John L. Fleming, 78, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Curtis Eason officiating.
Burial will be Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Fleming was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Fleming of Huntsville; two daughters, Heather Renfore of Maysville and Carole Fleming of Huntsville; two sons, John R. Fleming and Howard C. Fleming, both of Illinois; one sister, Lois Shelton of Illinois; and six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Edith King
CLARKSVILLE, Ind. - Edith King, 81, of 2130 Lombardy Drive died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at McCauley Funeral Home in Petersburg, Tenn.
Mrs. King was a native of Petersburg and a retired nurse's aide at Lewisburg Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Tenn. She was also a member of Petersburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Akens of New Albany, Ind.; one son, Harold Maultsby of Jeffersonville, Ind.; one sister, Ida Bennett of Jesup, Ga.; one brother, Bob Endsley of Lewisburg; and 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mary M. Lee
Mary Meeks Lee, 65, of Huntsville died today at her home. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with Harold Dowler officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Lee was a native of Clayton and a Gadsden High School graduate. She lived in Huntsville 42 years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Lee of Huntsville; three daughters, Dorma Hutcheson of Mentone, Phyllis Miller of Huntsville and Elizabeth Rausch of Seattle; one son, Robert C. Lee II of Clinton, Utah; her mother, Allie Mae Meeks of Centre; one brother, James Meeks of Oneonta; and four grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Billy R. McCrary
HOLLYWOOD - Billy Ray McCrary, 65, died Tuesday in Montgomery. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Hardin and the Rev. Larry Gilliam officiating.
Burial will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Kelsey and Barbara Knight, both of Scottsboro; four sons, Sterling McCrary, Bob McCrary, Wade McCrary and Phil McCrary, all of Scottsboro; three sisters, Faye Bell and Sara Evans, both of Scottsboro, and Judy Henderson of Hollywood; two brothers, Virgil McCrary of Scottsboro and Johnny McCrary of Hollywood; and 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Letha M. Moran
ATHENS - Letha Mae Moran, 72, of Tillman Mill Road died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home of Athens with Doug Mattlock and Kirk Bobo officiating.
Burial will be in O'Neal Cemetery.
Mrs. Moran was a member of O'Neal Church of Christ, a homemaker and was preceded in death by one son, Billy Joe Moran.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Henry Moran; one son, Wayne Moran of Athens; three daughters, Wanda Clutts of Lester, Jane Vaughn of Decatur and Rene Bobo of Trinity; two brothers, Ed Walker of Athens and Aubrey Walker of Lakeland, Fla.; five sisters, Louise Hobbs of Ardmore, Lorena Turner, Ovailee Pylant, Lurene Wales and Leona Blakely, all of Athens; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Hedy Newman
ARAB - Hedy Newman, 72, of Arab died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church.
Burial was to be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Gober Funeral Home of Arab in charge.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Newman; one daughter, Tamara M. Hemrick of Guntersville; one son, Timmy B. Hunt of Arab; one sister, Kelsey Glenn of Crossville; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
S.Q. Shelton
S.Q. Shelton, 69, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a Hanceville nursing home. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Shelton was a native of Madison County, a Korean War Army veteran, retired from civil service and a deacon at Flint River Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthie "Faye" A. Shelton of Huntsville; one daughter, Anita S. Parson of Northport; two sons, Michael E. Shelton and Paul M. Shelton, both of Huntsville; five sisters, Ruth Lamb, Lorene Joiner, Fannie Lou Vann, Bessie Lindsey and Betty Jo Hall, all of Huntsville; one brother, Horace Shelton of Illinois; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Petula P. Smith
Petula Parham Smith, 30, of Huntsville died Tuesday. The funeral will be Saturday at noon at First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Julius R. Scruggs officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Tuscaloosa and a 1986 graduate of J.O. Johnson High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in urban planning in 1991 at Alabama A&M University and was working on a master's degree in education. She was a member of the church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Survivors include her husband, Cydale Smith of Huntsville; her parents, Carol Parham and Press Parham, both of Huntsville; two brothers, Cory Parham and Tamaja Sealey, both of Huntsville; and grandfather, Thomas Parham of Toledo, Ohio.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

James E. Steffy
James Earl Steffy, 86, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. A memorial service will be held later at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Huntsville.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel T. Steffy of Huntsville; two daughters, Terry Lynn Hansen of Madison and Lora Jo Steffy of Huntsville; two sisters, Monta Houch of Park City, Fla., and Katherine Schuzler of Lebanon, Ohio; two brothers, Herbert Steffy of Piketon, Ohio, and Frank Steffy of Russellville, Ark.; and five great-grandchildren.
Robert Wolford
MADISON - Robert "Price " Wolford, infant son of Tom and Lesli Wolford, died Wednesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Church of the Nativity Episcopal Church.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Other survivors include one sister, Smith O'Neal Wolford of Madison; paternal grandparents, Tom and Norlene Wolford of Columbus, Miss.; maternal grandmother, Bettye Benedict of Amory, Miss.; and maternal step-grandfather, George Benedict of Amory, Miss.
