Marjorie A. Baker
NEW MARKET - Marjorie Ann Baker, 65, died Thursday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with the Rev. James Harrell officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Baker was a member of Third Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Baker of Huntsville; two sons, Phillip Baker of Hazel Green and Timothy Baker of New Market; her mother, Ruby Little of Huntsville; two stepsisters, Louise Odem and Elouise Bates, both of Spruce Pine; and one brother, Burns Fleming of Russellville.
Phillip W. Baldwin
Phillip Wayne Baldwin, 44, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. A cremation memorial service will be today at 5:30 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home East with the Rev. Peggy Shanahan officiating.
Survivors include one daughter, Natalie Baldwin of Arab; his parents, Claude M. Baldwin Jr. and Billie Baldwin, both of Huntsville; two sisters, Janet Underwood and Susan Clark, both of Huntsville; grandmother, Elizabeth Baldwin of North Carolina; and one niece.
Paul D. Baune
NEW ORLEANS - Paul David Baune, 55, died Wednesday in New Orleans. A memorial service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville.
Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Baune was a longtime Huntsville resident and a native of Minneapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Baune of Huntsville; one stepson, Bart Fabacher; one stepdaughter, Brandy McMahon of Huntsville; two brothers, William Baune and Dennis Baune, both of Huntsville; one sister, Anne Baune of Huntsville; and two step-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Helen L. Boyett
Helen Louise Boyett, 73, of Huntsville died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Elbert Parsons officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Boyett was a native of Birmingham and had lived in Pontiac, Mich.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat Carpenter of Huntsville and Carolyn Stephens of Ruidoso, N.M.; two sons, Doug Bradford of Muscle Shoals and Bob Boyett of Huntsville; one sister, Connie Humphrey of Decatur; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ida M. Dyar
BOAZ - Ida Mae Dyar, 91, of Boaz died Thursday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Mount Hebron Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Gwen Perry of Trussville, Yvonne Terzia of Athens, Ga., and Sandra Stapulionis of Michigan; two sons, Barry Dyar of Birmingham and Gary Dyar of Boaz; and several grandchildren.
William L. Gatlin Jr.
ATHENS - William '''Bill'' Leo Gatlin Jr., 48, died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Warren Glass officiating.
Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
Mr. Gatlin was a native of Limestone County and was a route carrier for The Decatur Daily.
Survivors include his mother, Essie Gatlin of Athens; one son, Bruce Gatlin of Toney; one brother, Steve Gatlin of Athens; one sister, Brenda Smith of Athens; and one grandson.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Harold M. Hamner
Harold Max Hamner, 74, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at noon at Meeks Baptist Church in Arley with Dr. Walter Nunn officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Hamner was a lifelong resident of Huntsville. He retired from Teledyne Brown Engineering where he worked for 29 years and was a member of Meeks Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Hamner; one son, Philip David Hamner of Arlington, Va.; one daughter, Nanette Troiano of Philadelphia, Pa.; one godchild, Emile Kraft of Cullman; one brother, James Hamner of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Minnie S. Kelley
GUNTERSVILLE - Minnie Sims Kelley, 87, of the Sims community died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill No. 2 Baptist Church with Bro. Eugene Lambert officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Albertville Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Arnold Kelley; one son, Larry Thomas Kelley; and one grandson, Matthew Gabriel Kelley.
Survivors include one son, Zebedee Kelley of Albertville; one daughter, Nellie Ruth Makemson of Guntersville; one sister, Etta Nora Jolley of Guntersville; and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Iree Kirby
PISGAH - Iree Kirby, 84, died Thursday. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Revs. Mike Benefield and Watson Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Green haven Memorial Gardens in Henagar.
Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her husband, Grady C. Kirby.
Survivors include three sisters, Linda Kirby of Fort Payne and Wanda Hancock and Shelby Pellam, both of Pisgah; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Joseph D. Kramm
Joseph David Kramm, 57, of Huntsville died Wednesday at his home. The graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Deacon Leroy Hoekenschnieder officiating.
Mr. Kramm was a lifelong resident of Huntsville.
Survivors include one son, Randall Kramm of Huntsville.
J. Mastromonico Sr.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Joseph James Mastromonico Sr., 96, died Wednesday. The funeral will be today at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior with the Rev. Baca as celebrant.
Sandia Funeral Care is in charge of burial arrangements.
Survivors include three sons, Arnold Mastromonico of Albuquerque, Joseph Mastromonico of Huntsville, and Charles Mastromonico of Aiken, S.C.; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mary K. Price FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Mary Kimbrough Price, 73, of 1004 Beech Drive died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Gay officiating.
Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
Mrs. Price was a native of Lincoln County. She was a former employee of Sebin Fashions and Blue Ridge Manufacturing, and a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Leabert Price of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; one sister, Mable Stewart of Fayetteville; one brother, Hugh Kimbrough; one grandson, Chad Price ; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Dan T. Reed
Dan Temple Reed, 60, of Huntsville died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with Byron Laird, J.B. Whitaker and Tim Rice officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Reed retired after 37 years as a computer engineer for the Army Aviation and Missile Command. He was a deacon for 28 years at West Huntsville Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Kay S. Reed of Huntsville; two sons, Douglas Dan Reed of Huntsville and Kenneth Charles Reed of Franklin, Tenn.; one daughter, Julie Reed Thomason of Huntsville; and three grandchildren.

Willie R. Short
BOAZ - Willie Ruth Short, 85, died Thursday at her home. A graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Boaz in charge.
Survivors include two sons, James L. Short of Tennessee and Joe Short of Boaz; a daughter, Marianne Short of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Charles L. Sokoll
Charles L. Sokoll, 73, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:30 at Spry Funeral Home with the Rev. George Gravitt officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Sokoll was a native of Detroit and had lived in Huntsville since 1961. He retired from Chrysler Corp. and was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Shepard Sokoll of Huntsville; three sons, Mike Sokoll of Guntersville, Michael Shepard of Madison and Joe Shepard of Huntsville; one brother, Norman Sokoll of Michigan; one sister, Florine Ziola of Michigan; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mildred O. Taylor
ATHENS - Mildred Odell Taylor, 57, of Lydia Corey Road died Friday. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Chris Kemp officiating.
Burial will be in Lenzville Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Limestone County, a member of Mount Carmel Church of Christ and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Taylor; and one brother, James Terry.
Survivors include two daughters, Selina Hunt of Pulaski, Tenn., and Beth Taylor of Athens; one brother, Robert Terry of Rogersville; two sisters, Wynell Reynolds and Marie Harrison, both of Athens; and one granddaughter, four step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

William Tidwell
SCOTTSBORO - William ''Bill'' Tidwell, 80, died Thursday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Revs. Erby Shankles, John McNelley and Aubrey Pockrus officiating.
Burial will be in Gold Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Tidwell; three daughters, Edith Rorex, Betty Pockrus and Patsy Thompson, all of Scottsboro; four sons, Jimmy Ray Tidwell of Wilmington, N.C., and William Tidwell Jr., Johnny Tidwell and Raymond Tidwell, all of Scottsboro; one sister, Louise McAllister of Scottsboro; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

David J. Voyles
UNION GROVE - David J. Voyles, 87, died Friday at a Cullman hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home of Arab.
Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Survivors include a sister, Ethel Royster of Union Grove; four brothers, C.L. Voyles of Eva, Jack Voyles of Arab, Amos Voyles and James Voyles, both of Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Troy O. Whisenant
UNION GROVE - Troy O. Whisenant, 71, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Whisenant and Keith Whisenant, both of Morgan City; two daughters, Rhonda Taylor of Arab and Mahalla Ertl of Morgan City; a sister, Mildred Ward of Morgan City; and five grandchildren.
