Thelma B. Baugh
Thelma B. Baugh, 74, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Eldridge Crisco officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Baugh was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Baugh Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeannie B. Morelan of Morgan City and Patricia L. King of Waterford, Conn.; one son, Robert T. Baugh III of Douglasville, Ga.; one brother, William Baker of Foley; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

James M. Brown
ACKWORTH, Ga. - James Marshall Brown, 78, died Friday. There will be no funeral.
Scottsboro Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Dell Brown; two sisters, Jean Irwin of Cartersville, Ga., and Betty Brown of Scottsboro; and one brother, Joe Brown of Cartersville, Ga.

Robert L. Davis
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Robert Lee Davis, 70, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The memorial service will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. W.E. Skipper officiating.
Mr. Davis was a retired transportation manager for Interstate Brands Co.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie P. Davis of Fayetteville; six daughters, Rosemary Campbell, Nancy Fuentes and Charlotte Qusenell, all of Fayetteville, and Linda Caouette, Roberta Burnelle and Becky Donavan, all of Los Angeles; one son, Chuck Davis of Fayetteville; one sister, Annabelle Alderman; and 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

William Dillard Sr.
William Dillard Sr., 83, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at noon at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Julius R. Scruggs officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Survivors include three sons, William Dillard Jr. of Meridianville, John W. Dillard of Chicago and Paul L. Dillard of Huntsville; one daughter, Delorise D. Scruggs of Huntsville; one sister, Lillian Dunlap of Chicago; and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Betty C. Dixon
RAINBOW CITY - Betty Carroll Dixon, 71, died Friday in Gadsden. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Otis Graves officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mrs. Dixon was a native of Bartlesville, Okla., and had lived in Huntsville 31 years. She lived in Rainbow City six months and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2702 and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Survivors include three daughters, Julianna Martin of Florence, Marlene Meadows of Rainbow City and Lorinda Whisnant of Hampton, Va.; one son, Don E. Dixon Jr. of Owensboro, Ky.; two sisters, Rosalie Armstrong of Soper, Okla., and Erma Jane Radler of California; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Frances Edwards
NEWBERN, Tenn. - Frances Edwards, 81, died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey Edwards of Newbern; one daughter, Ruby Akin of Huntsville; one son, James Edwards of Newbern; one sister, Ruth Edwards of Valparsio, Ind.; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Tommy A. Elledge
LACEY'S SPRING - Tommy A. Elledge, 31, died Thursday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home South.
Burial will be in Lipscomb Cemetery.
Mr. Elledge was a volunteer paramedic and firefighter. He was also formerly a member of the Huntsville Jaycees.
Survivors include his father, Tommy C. Elledge of Lacey's Spring; two brothers, Keith Elledge of Lacey's Spring and Tracey Elledge of Arab; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Alma Golden
RAINSVILLE - Alma Golden, 69, died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Old Sardis Holiness Church with the Rev. Oron Whitley and the Rev. Kerry Ferguson officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home in charge.
Ms. Golden was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Jean Golden; and one son, Danny Ray Golden.
Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann Johnson, Paulette Wisner and Sue Griffey, all of Rainsville; five sons, Larry Golden of Scottsboro, Bobby Golden of Trenton, Ga., Kenneth Golden of Powell, Hugh Golden of Bryant and Jimmy Golden and Neal Golden, both of Rainsville; three sisters, Lillian Townson of Dutton and Emra Townson and Dessie Townson, both of Section; and 12 grandchildren, six step grandchildren, one great-grandchild and eight step great-grandchildren.

Marie S. Howell
DECATUR - Marie Stephenson Howell, 79, of 501 Ewell St. died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home chapel with Ervin Himmel and Dr. Dwayne McDuff officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Howell retired from the Coca-Cola Company and Kentucky Fried Chicken. She was the oldest living member of Austinville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James A. Howell of Decatur; two daughters, Jackie Cheatham of Decatur and Mary Fields of Foley; one sister, Martha Tanner of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m at the funeral home.

Ruby J. Medlen
Ruby Jewel Medlen, 89, of Huntsville died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with her son, Al Virgil Medlen, officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Medlen was a native of Marshall County but spent most her life in Madison County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al S. Medlen.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice J. Magness of Huntsville and Vivian Sue Byrom of Maysville; two sons, Al Virgil Medlen and Joe H. Medlen, both of Huntsville; and 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Care.

Margaret M. Morris
DECATUR - Margaret Marie Morris, 78, of 2500 Spring Ave. died Friday at her home. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Anderton officiating.
Shelton Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Hagamaker of Decatur and Raymond Morris of Moulton; two sisters, Cora May Ferguson of Iowa and Lula May Shankle of Decatur; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Thomas R. Patterson
DOUGLAS - Thomas Robert Patterson, 68, of 40 Kenney Rd., Douglas, died Friday at his home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Albertville.
Burial will be in the Douglas Cemetery.
Mr. Patterson was retired from the U.S. Air Force at the rank of staff sergeant after 14 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Patterson; a son, Thomas Glenn Patterson of Bradford, Vt.; four daughters, Varylon Griffin of Anniston, Lorene Golding of Newburg, Vt., Teresa Avery McEvoy of Albertville and Deborah Sampson of Boaz; a step-daughter, Amanda Browning of Boaz; a step-son, Jason Browning of Boaz; two sisters, Ethie Lopez of San Andres, Ca. and Lorene Duffield of Manteca, Ca.; and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Evelyn P. Ransom
BOAZ - Evelyn Pruitt Ransom, 69, of 181 Walker St. died Friday at her home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home of Boaz.
Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Marc Pruitt of Boaz; a sister, Annie Howton of Boaz; and four grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Nelson L. Reavis
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Nelson Lee Reavis, 47, of 109 McDougal Road died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Booneville Cemetery.
Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Mr. Reavis was a member of West Huntsville Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Felicia Tucker Reavis of Fayetteville; one daughter, Nichole Lee Reavis of Trinity; and his mother, Ellen Reavis of Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

J.W. Solley
ARAB - J.W. Solley, 86, of 2649 Maple Hill Rd. died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Solley; a son, Beamon Solley of Blountsville; four daughters, Glynell Davis, Vickie Yarbrough, Brenda Harper and Jan Faircloth, all of Arab; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cleophas Turner Jr.
ATLANTA - Cleophas Turner Jr., 43, of 255 Vine St. died Thursday. The graveside service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Meadowlawn Garden of Peace with the Rev. O. Wendell Davis officiating.
Nelms Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
Survivors include his mother, Cora S. Turner of Huntsville; one brother, Martin G. Turner of Huntsville; two sisters, Bettye J. Turner of Huntsville and Lt. Col. Natalie T. Staff of Chesapeake, Va.; grandmother, Jimmie Rice of Chattanooga; and one uncle and two aunts.
