Harold M. Brown
Harold M. Brown, 79, of Huntsville died Tuesday at a local hospital. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Philip D. Brown and Glenn R. Brown, both of Huntsville; three daughters, Cheryl B. Storrs of Guntersville, Cathy B. Skipworth of Madison and Marilyn B. Fowler of Huntsville; two brothers, Dr. John M. Brown of Oklahoma City and Lillard T. Brown of Nashville; and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.

Talmadge Clements
RAINSVILLE - Talmadge Clements, 67, died Wednesday at a Fort Payne hospital. The funeral was will be today at 11 a.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Revs. Wayne Young and Chester Shankles officiating.
Burial will be in Brown's Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Clements was preceded in death by one son, Neal Clements.
Survivors include his wife, Polly Clements; three daughters, Rebecca Casey and Bonita Wilborn, both of Rainsville, and Charlotte Bouldin of Peeks Corner; two sons, Wayne Clements of Fort Payne and Dwight Clements of Rainsville; one sister, Lanrue Stanford of Rainsville; three brothers, Paul Clements, Ray Clements and Voyt Clements, all of Rainsville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

George Cotton Jr.
George ''Slim'' Cotton Jr., 66, of Huntsville died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dennis Green officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Cotton was a member of the Word of Truth Church of God and Christ. He was a member of the the Masons in New York, a native of Georgia and a commercial painter.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Duffy; four stepdaughters, Dorothea Marshall of Virginia, Tammy Smith and Tara Smith, both of Huntsville, and Anita Jackson of California; one son, George Cotton of California; three stepsons, Larry Smith of New York, Anthony Jackson of Florida and Ernest Jackson of California; one sister, Faybelle Cotton of Florida; and one grandson and seven step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Hospice Family Care of Huntsville.

Mary E. Gibb
BOAZ - Mary E. Gibb, 81, of 15 Lee Ave. died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Cathi Upton of Boaz.

Roben M. Hickman
ATHENS - Roben Milton Hickman, 89, of 108 Cascade Dr. died Wednesday at a local hospital. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce arrangements later.

Teresa D. Ivey
Teresa Denise Ivey, 39, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. A memorial service will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Rands Sims officiating.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of burial arrangements.
Mrs. Ivey was a native of Macon, Ga., and had lived in Huntsville for the past 10 years. She was retired from Civil Service where she worked for MRDEC and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Michael W. Ivey; her mother, Betty V. Bloodworth of Huntsville; one sister, Cynthia Stafford of Huntsville; and one niece, Elizabeth Stafford of Huntsville.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3:30 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Juston A. Kemp
MORGAN CITY - Juston A. Kemp, infant son of Sonya Kemp of Morgan City and Michael Kemp of Madison, died Tuesday at his home. A private memorial service is planned.
Other survivors include one brother, Dalton Kemp of Morgan City; grandparents, Terrie Armstrong and Tina Lansaw of Morgan City, Ray Kemp of Huntsville, and Kim Toothman of Fairmont, W.V., and Suzette and Kelly Karnes of Houston; great-grandparents, Ray and Corrine Erickson of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Roy and Linda Ichiho of Sacramento, Calif., and Henry Toothman of Springfield, Ohio; and several aunts and uncles.

Woodrow M. Mason
BOAZ - Woodrow M. Mason, 87, died Wednesday at a Gadsden hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel in Huntsville with the Rev. James Holt officiating.
Burial will be in New Church Cemetery in New Market.
Mr. Mason was a native of Jackson County and a former resident of Madison County. He was a resident of Boaz for the past five years and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II.
Mr. Mason was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sue Mason; and one son, Loyal Mason Sr.
Survivors include four daughters, Cornelia Moore and Donna Maynard, both of Albertville, Arnice Spencer of Boaz and Daphne Sylvester of Gurley; one son, Dennis Mason of Plevna; and 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Barbara McConnell
ATHENS - Barbara Jean ''Bobby'' McConnell, 56, of 12782 Snake Road died Wednesday at her home. A graveside service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gatlin Cemetery with Bro. Joel Glaze officiating.
Mrs. McConnell was a member of West Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Allen McConnell of Athens; two daughters, Daphne Lee Watkins of Price ville and Michelle Lynn Carroll of Athens; her mother, Cassie Hill of Athens; two brothers, Mike Hill of Rome, Ga., and Ricky Joe Hill of Athens; six sisters, Diane Adams of Town Creek, Bertha Johnson, Jewell Dean Scroggins, Teresa Holt, Sherry Eubanks and Helen Miller, all of Athens; and eight grandchildren.

Roy M. Monroe
NEW MARKET - Roy M. Monroe, 69, died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. A memorial service will be Saturday at 100 Woodland St. in New Market.
Spry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Monroe was a native of Ohio and had lived in Madison County since 1977. He was retired from Coyne Cylinder.
Survivors include two sons, Roy Monroe Jr. of New Market and Dennis L. Monroe of Hazel Green ; four brothers, Nathan B. Monroe and Johnny Monroe, both of California, Bill Monroe of Tennessee and Bob Monroe of Washington; three sisters, Minnie Maurice, Emma Scott and Mary M. Hillburger, all of California; and six grandchildren.

Danny G. Moore
MARIETTA, Ga. - Danny G. Moore, 54, died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Stanley Reeves officiating.
Burial will be in Kennamer Cemetery.
Mr. Moore was a former resident of New Hope.
Survivors include one son, Daniel Nathan Moore of Georgia; two brothers, Jimmy Moore of Hazel Green and Darryl Moore of Guntersville; two sisters, Linda Martin of New Hope and Cathy Reeves of Somerville; and one aunt and one uncle.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Austin B. Pirtle
Austin Brent Pirtle, infant son of Amanda and Brent Pirtle of Huntsville, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:45 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Genelle Tucker officiating.
Burial will be in Charity Cemetery.
He was a Huntsville native.
Other survivors include grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Buck of Huntsville, Claudia Bates of Hazel Green, Rex Bailey of Pulaski, Tenn., and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Demorse of Memphis, Tenn.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Van Snider
Van Snider, 72, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. A private funeral service is planned.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Snider was retired from the U.S. Navy and Redstone Arsenal.
Survivors include his wife, Betty V. Snider; one son, James M. Snider of Huntsville; and one brother, Harold Snider of Columbus, Ga.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice Family Care of Huntsville.

Bobbie Todd
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Bobbie Jean Shirey Todd, 66, died Tuesday. The funeral will be today at 2:30 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home in Rainsville with the Rev. Doyle Shirey officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Todd was a former resident of Sylvania.
Survivors include her husband Charles Todd; one son, Harold C. ''Jim'' Shirey Jr. of Sylvania; one sister, Willodean Bone of Fort Payne; one brother, William Jacob ''Jake'' Moses Jr. of Fort Payne; and four grandchildren.
