Frank Church
TONEY - Frank Church, 80, died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gary Schrimsher officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mr. Church was a lifelong Madison County resident and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kitty Church of Toney; three daughters, Sharon Dooling and Cindy Green, both of Huntsville, and Ngaire Johnson of Toney; and five granddaughters.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Acie Dotson
DECATUR - Acie Dotson, 76, died Monday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with Wendell Thrasher and Jimmy Ricketts officiating.
Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Dotson was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Ray Dotson.
Survivors include one son, David Joe Dotson of Moulton; one brother, J.B. Dotson of Hillsboro; three sisters, Elsie George of Odensville, Vera Ricketts of Decatur and Earline Thrasher of Trinity; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Barbara A. Gannaway
DECATUR - Barbara Ann Gannaway, 56, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Gannaway was a Madison County native and had lived in Decatur 13 years. She was a member of Flint River Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Gannaway III of Huntsville; two daughters, Debby Turner of New Market and Lisa Freeman of Elora, Tenn.; one brother, James Reed of Atlanta; one sister, Giner Sanders of Union, Ky.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Becky L. Gladney
FORT PAYNE - Becky Lynn Gladney, 19, died Sunday at a Chattanooga, Tenn., hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Rainsville with the Rev. Darrell Haney officiating.
Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Dylan Gladney and Christian Gladney, both of Fort Payne; her parents, Ray C. Gladney of Jefferson, Wis., and Phyliss Gladney-Wood of Fort Payne; three sisters, Racheal A. Gladney of Powell and Christie Egeleston and Darla Jill Egeleston, both of Houston; and grandparents, Jimmy Lane Gladney and Beverly Collins, both of Birmingham, and Betty Moses of Rainsville.
Hamon Glass
MADISON - Hamon Glass, 86, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Madison Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. William Suddarth and Dr. Alan Weatherly officiating.
Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson.
Mr. Glass retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, Tenn. He was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Glass.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Sutton of Madison and Linda Lesley of Tuscaloosa; two sons, Eugene Glass of St. Cloud, Minn., and Dale Glass of Avon, Minn.; one sister, Marie Waggeirt of Rogersville; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Julia J. Holloway
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Julia J. Holloway, 94, died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at noon at St. Rita Catholic Church in Louisville.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park with Resthaven Memorial Funeral Home of Louisville in charge.
Mrs. Holloway was a native of Platte Center, Neb., and was a member of the church.
Survivors include five daughters, Leola Moore, Florence Willoughby and Rita Hockaden, all of Louisville, Mary Ellen Jacobs of Nashville and Wanda Parrish of Erin, Tenn.; one son, Richard A. "Dick" Holloway of Huntsville; two sisters, Dorothy Ford and Florence Biecki, both of Louisville; and 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the church.
Irene B. Howard
Irene Birda Howard, 71, of Huntsville died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at noon at Douglas Tabernacle with the Rev. Robert Rogers officiating.
Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery in Toney with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three daughters, Mildred Lanier, Bobbie Jean Eason and Ruby Conley, all of Huntsville; three sons, Willie Toney, Charles Toney and Ronald Howard, all of Huntsville; and 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy D. Jordan
JONESBORO, Ga. - Dorothy Davis "Dottie" Jordan, 53, died Monday. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Jonesboro United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary DeMore officiating.
Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens with Pope Dickson and Son Jonesboro Chapel in charge.
Mrs. Jordan grew up and attended high school in Huntsville. She was a special education teacher for 26 years and a graduate of Auburn University and West Georgia College.
Surivors include her husband, Bob Jordan of Jonesboro; three sons, Jeff Jordan, Lance Jordan and Jon Jordan, all of Jonesboro; one daughter, Dani Beth Jordan of Jonesboro; her mother, Margaret Davis of Huntsville; one brother, John Scott Davis of Mobile; and one granddaughter and two aunts.
Her body was to be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Charles C. Kimbrough
DALEVILLE - Charles Calvin Kimbrough, 70, of 34 Forest Road died Nov. 23. The memorial service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on North Brannon Stand Road in Dothan.
Kent-Thornton Funeral Home of Dothan is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kimbrough was a native of Madison County. He was a self-employed brick mason and a 21-year Army veteran. He served as an elder at several Jehovah's Witness congregations since 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine "Kay" George Kimbrough of Daleville; and three sons, Charles W. Kimbrough of Enterprise, Michael Kimbrough of New Brockton and Johnny Kimbrough of Clayhatchee; three sisters, Catherine Leverette of Gurdon, Ark., Jeanie Lee Tawbush of Locust Fork and Nancy Hansen of Madison; and two grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lillian L. Martin
Lillian Lawler Martin, 92, of Huntsville died Tuesday in Fayetteville, Tenn. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. George Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Lawler Cemetery in Brownsboro.
Mrs. Martin was a native of Madison County.
Survivors include one son, Ben Monroe Martin of Hazel Green ; and three grandchildren, Brigitte Martin White of New York, Brad Monroe Martin of Atlanta and Michele Dawn Martin of Calhoun, Ga.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Leonard L. Mitchell
TAFT, Tenn. - Leonard L. "Chicken" Mitchell, 83, died Tuesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home chapel with Bros. Joel Logan and David Clemons officiating.
Burial will be in Blanche Cemetery in Blanche, Tenn.
Mr. Mitchell was a member of New Grove Baptist Church and attended Sweet Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Mitchell and Gary Mitchell, both of Blanche; one daughter, Jo Ann Shannon of Ardmore, Ala.; one sister, Aliene Mullins of Peoria, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
James W. Murphy
ALBERTVILLE - James William "Bill" Murphy, 84, died Tuesday at his home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Albertville Funeral Home chapel with Bro. George Knott officiating.
Burial will be in Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Bobbie Sue Dick of Albertville, Glenda Kelley of Guntersville and Wynell Chaffin of Horton; three sisters, Era Peppers of Boaz, Talmer Bagwell of Attalla and Odie Hill of Guntersville; and 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Roy A. Paseur
Roy Allen Paseur, 66, of Huntsville died Monday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home chapel with Bros. Jerry Stapler and John Daniel Stapler officiating.
Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery.
Mr. Paseur was a farmer and retired from Norton Co./Saint Gobain of Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Idella Paseur of Huntsville; one daughter, Kathy Jean Paseur Craig of Huntsville; four sons, Allen Wayne Paseur and Terry Keith Paseur, both of Huntsville, Donald Roy Paseur of New Hope and Tracy Glenn Paseur of Owens Cross Roads; one sister, Louise Paseur of McDonough, Ga.; four brothers, Thomas Paseur of Fyffe, Turner Paseur of Red Bay and Conward Paseur and Lester Paseur, both of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren, one step-grandchild, three great-grandchildren and one great-step-grandchild.

BOAZ - Opal Ruth Ross, 79, of 33 Cooper Courts died Sunday at her home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was in Belchers Gap Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Thyra Cash of Grand Bay; six sisters, Ruby Harper and Myrtle Haynes, both of Crossville, Kay Amos and Frances Brooks, both of Gadsden, Rhudell Pless of Alexander City and Erma Ragsdale of Huntsville; one brother, Jake Amos of Gadsden; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Earl W. Rutherford
ATHENS - Earl Wilson Rutherford, 41, of Cottonbelt Road died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Jerry Smith officiating.
Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Rutherford was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and co-owner of B&R Vinyl.
Survivors include his wife, Janette Rutherford of Salem; one daughter, Brandy Rutherford of Salem; two sons, Justin Rutherford of Salem and Jamie Rutherford of Savannah, Tenn.; his father and mother, James Earl Rutherford and Linda Rutherford of Athens; two sisters, Mary Ann Rutherford and Brenda Lee Winecke, both of Athens; one brother, Raymond Rutherford of Athens; and two grandchildren.
Sharron R. Zysk
MADISON - Sharron Renee Zysk, 38, died Friday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Madison Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Lowery officiating.
Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park.
Mrs. Zysk was a water fitness instructor.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Thomas Zysk of Madison; one son, Andrew Spencer Zysk of Madison; her mother, Wanda Jane Graben of Madison; and three brothers, Timothy Eugene Graben and David Wayne Graben, both of Madison, and Mark Devon Graben of Huntsville.
