Clara Bodine
ARAB - Clara Bodine, 97, died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, John Edwin Bodine of Arab; two daughters, Marie Flemings and Mary Sue Yancey, both of Arab; a brother, Harry Hood of Attalla; a sister, Ruth Aikew of Fla.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Freddie Bolden
Freddie Bolden, 37, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. No funeral services are planned.
Gallant Funeral Home of Hazel Green is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his mother, Margie Bolden Watkins of Huntsville; three sisters, Arlene Arris of Albertville, Carolyn Hillis of New Market and Brenda Wilbourn of Madison; six brothers, Ray Bolden, Johnny Bolden and Tracy Bolden, all of Huntsville, Danny Bolden of Cullman, Billy Bolden of Hazel Green and Ronny Bolden of LaPlace, La.
James E. Bramlett
VALHERMOSO SPRINGS - James Ernest Bramlett, 77, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 11 a.m. at Valhermoso First Christian Church with the Rev. Clint Coffey and Rev. Wendell Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home of Hartselle in charge.
Mr. Bramlett was a lifelong member and trustee of Valhermoso First Christian Church. He was preceded in death By his wife, Meriam Marie Bramlett.
Survivors include two sons, James W. Bramlett of Valhermoso Springs and Ernest Keith Bramlett of Asheville, N.C.; one daughter, Sandra B. Sims of Valhermoso Springs; one brother, Adrian Dwain Bramlett of Chicago; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Bradley Byrum
POWELL - Bradley Byrum, 18, died Sunday at a Chattanooga hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Old Sardis Holiness Church with Oron Whitley, Shirley Byrum and Edwin Spurgeon officiating.
Burial will be in Kirk Memorial Gardens with Rainsville Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie Smith Byrum; parents, Eugene and Linda Byrum of Powell; three sisters, Debra Broyles and Tangie Coronado, both of Powell, and Amanda Ragon of Albertville; and one brother, Reggie Byrum of Powell.
Lillian G. Cleveland
Lillian G. Cleveland, 88, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local nursing home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce arrangements later.
Survivors include one daughter, Sue Brown of Madison; one brother, Oscar Cleveland of Huntsville; three sisters, Louise Limbaugh and Laura Cheatwood, both of Huntsville, and Evelyn Childers of Mississippi; and two grandsons, Matt Brown of North Carolina and March Brown of Madison.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Thomas L. Crisco
UNION GROVE - Thomas Lee Crisco, 66, of Crisco Circle died Friday at his home. A graveside service was to be today at 2 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include a brother, Fred Crisco of Jackson; two sisters, Lois Perkins of Miss. and Beatrice Baine of Fla.
Della F. Garmany
ST. CLAIR, Mich. - Della Flora Garmany, 98, died Thursday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home in Rainsville, Ala., with the Rev. Delmar Bethune officiating.
Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery.
Mrs. Garmany was a former resident of Dekalb County.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Ray Garmany and H.B. Garmany, both of Roseville, Mich.; one sister, Etta Young of Dennis, Miss.; one brother, Delmar Bethune of Fyffe; and 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Louis Gullion
ARAB - Louis Gullion, 88, of 10th St. N.W. died Sunday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Arab Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Lavoid Gullion of Arab; and four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Samuel C. Hinkle
GUNTERSVILLE - Samuel Clay Hinkle, infant son of Scott and Denitta Hinkle, died Saturday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 3:30 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Evers officiating.
Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home in charge.
Other survivors include one brother, Ben Hinkle of Guntersville; his grandparents, Diana Patterson and Roger and Janice Hanner, of Guntersville.
Grady Ivey
SKYLINE - Grady Ivey, 77, died today at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Venable officiating.
Burial will be in Pace Cemetery.
Mr. Ivey was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Hambrick Ivey.
Survivors include his wife, Maymie Fowler Ivey; and one sister, Bernice Rogers of Bridgeport.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Sylvia Kelley
INVERNESS, Fla. - Sylvia Kelley, 80, died Saturday at a local hospital. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. George W. Hayes officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Kelley.
Survivors include three nephews, Brett Morgan of Enterprise, Ala., Mark Duerr of San Jose, Calif., and George Duerr of Phoenix, Ariz.; four nieces, Faye Cartwright of Tuscon, Ariz., Kaye Matthews of Marietta, Ga., Genie Mettler of Hazel Green, Ala., and Nancy Rea of Baton Rouge, La.; and one sister-in-law, Eloise Fulmer of Marietta.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Robert E. Lee
HENAGAR - Robert E. Lee, 96, died Sunday. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Rainsville Funeral Home with the Rev. James Grindstaff officiating.
Burial will be in New Home Cemetery.
Mr. Lee was preceded in death by one daughter, Meredith Collins; and one son, Melvin Earl Patterson.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Lee; five daughters, Laura Wooten and Ruth Patterson, both of Henagar, Bernice Bray of Valley Head, Marcell Duncan of Rossville, Ga., and Virginia Curvin of Harrison, Tenn.; one son, Edward Ray Patterson of Mentone; two sisters, Dorothy Huff and Nellie McGullian, both of Eataton, Ga.; and 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Robert G. Libby
Robert G. Libby, 74, of Huntsville died Friday in Miami, Fla. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce arrangements later.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Libby was a longtime resident of Huntsville and retired from BMDSC. He was in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was awarded the Meritorious Service Award. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and past lieutenant governor of the Alabama-Mississippi District of the Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife, Anna DeMouy Libby; three daughters, Carol Libby Grimes of Huntsville, Marsha Libby Bridges of Pensacola, Fla., and Robin Libby Williams of Troy; one sister, Ruth Libby Winstanley of Mobile; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Presbyterian Home for Children through First Presbyterian Church.
John C. McKelvey Jr.
John C. McKelvey Jr., 78, of Huntsville died today at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. McKelvey was a member of the Masons.
Survivors include his wife, Pat McKelvey; one daughter, Sandra Buchanan of Huntsville; two sons, Mike McKelvey of Brownsboro and Jerry McKelvey of Huntsville; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bill Motley
TONEY - Bill Motley, 67, died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 10 a.m. at Gallant Funeral Home chapel.
Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery in Lincoln County, Tenn.
Mr. Motley was retired from Olin Chemical Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran in the Korean War and a member of the American Legion No. 176.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Helms Motley; one daughter, Pam Russell of Hazel Green ; two grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Russell, both of Hazel Green ; and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret Thompson
BESSEMER - Margaret Clements Thompson, 89, died Saturday. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Brown Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Thompson attended Athens State College where she also played basketball. She retired from U.S. Steel and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Luther Pruitt Thompson Jr. of Bessemer and Victor Lee Thompson of Huntsville; two sisters, Eugenia C. Hellums of Bessemer and Frances C. Huey of Wilmington, Calif.; and five grandchildren and one nephew.
