Katheline Cathey
GUNTERSVILLE - Katheline Cathey, 63, of 1719 Winston St. died Thursday at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday at noon at St. Minor P.B. Church with the Rev. Benjamin Burt officiating.
Burial will be in Warrenton Cemetery in Guntersville with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include three sisters, Barbara Hampton and Beulah Murray, both of Guntersville, and Lelia Paschel of Albertville; and one brother, Henry Howell of Guntersville.
The body will be at the church an hour before the funeral.
Freddie D. Daniel
ALBERTVILLE - Freddie Duke Daniel, 36, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial was to be in Liberty Church Cemetery in Henagar.
Survivors include his mother, Jennie Daniel of Guntersville; his father, Floyd D. Daniel of Orlando; one brother, David Wisner of Albertville; and two sisters, Kathleen Murdock of Albertville and Eveline Daniel of Guntersville.
William L. Fowler
CROSSVILLE - William LeDue Fowler, 72, of Route 3 died Friday at a Gadsden hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J.P. Rowan and the Rev. Charley Adkins officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Aubie Jean Coleman Fowler; three sons, Ladon Fowler, Farris Fowler and Roger Fowler; his mother, Laura Bell; his father, W.R. Fowler, all of Painter, Ala.; three sisters, Lorena Dickerson of Crossville, Eloise Smith of Albertville and Wonetta Stenison of Oxford; three brothers, Hoytt Fowler of Albertville, Troy B. Fowler of Florida and Elmo Fowler of Crossville; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Janice Faye Garrett
FORT PAYNE - Janice Faye Garrett, 55, died Friday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral chapel.
Burial was to be in Corinth Cemetery in Fyffe.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Garrett of Guntersville and Tammy Hall of Geraldine; four sons, Jason Garrett of Fyffe and Timothy Garrett, Andrew Garrett and Jeff Garrett, all of Fort Payne; his mother, Gladys Smith of California; one brother, J.M. ''Jimmy Smith of Arkansas; and five grandchildren.
William Ralph Gore
PICKENS, Miss. - William Ralph Gore, 64, died Saturday at a hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Southern Funeral Home chapel in Durant, Miss., with the Rev. Walter Hughley officiating.
An Eastern Star service was to be at the Durant chapel today at 8 p.m.
A graveside Masonic service will be held with burial in Rocky Hill Cemetery in Madison, Miss.
Mr. Gore was an industrial engineer for Marshall Space Flight Center. He was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of Eastern Star, York Rite and the Shrine Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell Gore; two sons, Gregory Carroll Gore of Hazel Green and William Glenn Gore of Corinth, Miss.; two brothers, the Rev. Albert Nottley Gore Jr. of Starkville and Thomas Pryor Gore of High Point, N.C.; and two sisters, Mary Edith Hancock of Eupora, Miss., and Belle Dora Hickman of Green wood, Miss.
Visitation was to be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Harold Harnly
Admiral Harold Harnly of Huntsville died Sunday at a local nursing home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce the funeral.
Wayne R. Lauster
GURLEY - Wayne R. Lauster, 56, died Monday at his home. Valhalla Funeral Home will announce the funeral.
James Arthur Lloyd
ANNISTON - James Arthur Lloyd, 71, of 4845 Eulaton Road died Saturday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Eulaton Road United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Cosby officiating.
Burial will be in the Eulaton church cemetery.
Mr. Lloyd owned Lloyds Gifts and Flowers and was employed by the Calhoun County Board of Education.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Pilkington Lloyd; one son, James Allen Lloyd of Anniston; three daughters, Darlene Wilmarth of Opelika and Katrina Akers and Lisa Holtman, both of Anniston; two sisters, Grace Gauldin of Huntsville and Geneva Aderholt, all of Anniston; his mother, Dovie Poe Lloyd; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8:30 p.m. or in the church fellowship hall an hour before the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the James Lloyd Scholarship Fund in care of Walter Wellborn High School. The trust fund will help further the education of deserving athletes who finish at that school.
The body will be at the church an hour before the funeral.
Mollie T. Martin
DECATUR - Mollie Tippett Martin, 87, died Saturday at a Decatur hospital. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Madison Cemetery, with the Rev. Dan Kitchens officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Martin was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a TVA nurse during the construction of Wheeler Dam and a registered nurse at Huntsville Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Rodman Martin.
Survivors include one daughter, Anne Ledbetter of Decatur; one son, Henry ''Roddy Martin Jr. of Fairhope; and two grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
Effie G. Munden
Effie G. Munden, 85, of Huntsville died Sunday at her home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Memory Chapel in Laurel, Miss., with the Rev. Bob Scott officiating.
Burial will be in Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Harold M. Munden; two sons, Gene Garrett of Huntsville and Bubby Garrett of Corbin, Ky.; one stepdaughter, Carolyn King of Shipman, Va.; three granddaughters and three grandsons.
Visitation will be today from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Memory Chapel.

Carlton C. Page
Carlton C. Page, 71, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Dalton Styes and the Rev. Charles Godwin officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Page was born in Mamers, N.C., and lived in Huntsville 50 years. He worked for Ray Auto, Johnson Concrete and retired from MSI-NASA after 20 years. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Page; one son, Richard Carlton Page; one daughter, Lisa Denise Page; two stepsons, James Paxton and Joseph Paxton, all of Huntsville; two sisters, Magalene Benedict of Sanford, N.C., and Christine Bailey of Huntsville; one brother, Junious Clinton Page of Broadway, N.C.; one granddaughter and one grandson.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Laughlin.
Ruby Pratt
MOULTON - Ruby Pratt, 83, died Sunday at a Lawrence County hospital. A graveside service was to be today at 11 a.m. at Oakgrove Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home of Athens directing.
Mrs. Pratt was a native of Limestone County and a homemaker.
She is survived by a number of cousins.
Steven S. Rusidoff
SCOTTSBORO - Steven S. Rusidoff, 41, died Saturday. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Phelps officiating.
Mr. Rusidoff was an employee of Mead Containerboard for 22 years. He was an avid sports car enthusiast and a member of the Porsche Club of Alabama and the BMW Club of Alabama.
Survivors include his fiance, Shelia Foshee of Scottsboro; his parents, Jim and Pat Rusidoff of Scottsboro; and one brother, Jimmy Rusidoff of Scottsboro.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund in Scottsboro.
Visitation was to be today from 3 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 until 11 a.m.
William C. Shultz
PISGAH - William Clarence Shultz, 88, died Friday at a DeKalb County hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Rosalie Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Billie Joe Shultz of Rosalie, Ala., Bobby Shultz of Pisgah and W.C. Shultz of Henagar; two brothers, Brennon Shultz of Calhoun, Ga., and Clovis Shultz of Rector, Ark.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Hellen Simmons
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Hellen Simmons, 79, of 509 Mulberry Ave. died Saturday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Hughes officiating.
Burial was to be in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Simmons was an Avon representative and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Dixie Smith; one son, Lonnie Simmons; one sister, Jewell Tyree, all of Fayetteville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Estelle Ford Talley
DUNLAP, Tenn. - Estelle Ford Talley, 82, of Main Street died Sunday at a South Pittsburgh hospital. The graveside service will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. with Freddie Clayton and Ernest Laws officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home of Hazel Green in charge.
Mrs. Talley was a Madison County native and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Avery D. Talley.
Survivors include three daughters, Sara McBride of Hazel Green, Goldie Crabtree of Dunlap and Gail Harfield of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Luther B. Vessell
FLINTVILLE - Luther B. Vessell, 75, of Shady Grove Road died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. William L. Weeks officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Vessell was a retired engineer for the Fayetteville electric system. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Evelyn Vessell; two daughters, Donna Ann Dye of Fayetteville and Pamela Jane Weeks of Cypress, Texas; one son, Chris Vessell of Flintville; one brother, James Vessell; one sister, Ester Ruth Sparks, both of Florence; and five grandchildren.
Glen Watkins
ARDMORE, Ala. - Glen Watkins, 67, of Ardmore Park Apartments died Sunday in Pulaski. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Harvell officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Ardmore, Ala.
Mr. Watkins was a member of Main Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Watkins; two sons, Tim Watkins of Murfreesboro and Berry Watkins of Ardmore, Ala.; one brother, Bobby Watkins of Huntsvile; two sisters, Dorothy Merrell and and Katie Quinn, both of Ardmore, Ala.; and one grandson.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m.
