Leroy Bolden
HAZEL GREEN - The Rev. Leroy Bolden Sr., 71, died Wednesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in New Sharon Cemetery.
The Rev. Mr. Bolden, a Madison County native, was a Korean War veteran and the owner of Leroy Fence Co.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Bolden of Hazel Green ; three sons, Leroy Bolden, Ricky G. Bolden and Alan D. Bolden Sr., all of Hazel Green ; one sister, Clara Sharp of Huntsville; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ruby G. Casey
HENAGAR - Mrs. Ruby Grace Casey, 92, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar with the Revs. Kevin Wilks and Robert Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Henagar Cemetery.
Mrs. Casey was preceded in death by her husband, Asa B. Casey Sr., and one son, Jack Casey.
Survivors include six daughters, Mary V. Casey and Ruby Patricia Brock, both of Sand Rock; Vivian R. Travis of Pisgah, Billie Louise Snell of Orlando, Fla.; and Margie W. Hulsey and Anna Manervia Ford, both of Henagar; one son, Brindley Casey Jr. of Henagar; and 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Leona Chapman
ATHENS - Mrs. Leona Chapman, 81, of Slate Road died Monday at her home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home.
Burial was in Sandlin Cemetery.
Mrs. Chapman was a native of Limestone County, a member of Carey Baptist Church and a seamstress. She was preceded in death by one son, William Earl Chapman.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Chapman; two sons, Wilburn Chapman of Elkhart, Ind. and Herbert Chapman of Athens; one brother, Roy Robertson of Covington, Ky.; and seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Victoria Coffey
Victoria ''Vic Coffey of Huntsville died Tuesday. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Billie Coffey Trombly.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Coffey of New Jersey; one sister, Gladys Benson of Huntsville; and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Devin L. Davis
HARTSELLE - Devin Lynne Davis, 8, of Hammitt Street died Tuesday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Cheek officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home in charge.
Miss Davis was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church where she was baptized in June 1997. She was a third-grader at F.E. Burleson Elementary School in Hartselle.
Survivors include her parents, Jimmy and Jenny Speegle Davis of Hartselle; one sister, Ashley Elizabeth Davis of Huntsville; and a grandmother, Martha Speegle of Hartselle.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lawrence Lee Elmore
WETMORE, Mich. - Lawrence Lee Elmore, 81, died Sunday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, Ala.
Burial was to be in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens.
Mr. Elmore was a native of Limestone County and was a retired elder.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Meffer and Judith Rogers, both of Wetmore; two sisters, Rosie Malone and Frances Stone, both of Athens; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Alice Flippo
Alice Flippo, 73, of Huntsville died Wednesday at her home. The funeral will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. Flippo was a native of Tennessee, but she lived most her life in Madison County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Flippo, and by one daughter, Helen Farmer.
Survivors include six sons, Frank Farmer, Robert Farmer and Vernon White, all of Huntsville, Floyd Flippo and Edward Flippo, both of Henagar, and Don Flippo of Princeton, Ala.; five daughters, Gladys Grubbs of Tennessee, Hazel Harbin of Paint Rock, Zora Flippo and Marge Ann Flippo, both of Mississippi, and Callie Sue Aycock of Huntsville; one brother, Billy Roberts of Hazel Green ; three sisters, Mildred Sharp of Michigan, Mary Parks of Huntsville and Bute Aycock of Hazel Green ; and 39 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m.

James K. Harris
ATHENS - James Kent Harris, 61, of 101 Shady Lane died Wednesday at his home. The funeral will be Friday at noon at the First United Methodist Church in Athens with Dr. Barry Anderson and Dr. Steven Screws officiating.
Mr. Harris was president of Cluston Jewelry Inc., former vice president of Alabama Retail Jewelers Association, and a member of the board of directors at First American Bank, the Beautification Board of Athens, the Athens College Foundation Board, the Athens Retail Council, the Downtown Association, First United Methodist Church and the Athens Rotary Club. He was honored by the Athens/Limestone Chamber of Commerce as citizen of the year in 1988.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Maund Harris of Athens; one son, James Kent Harris Jr. of Athens; one daughter, Amanda Harris Musick of Birmingham; one sister, Anna Hammond of Millbrook, Ala.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Harris Scholarship Fund at any branch of First American Bank.

B. Spencer Isbell
B. Spencer "Billy" Isbell, 73, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. Ralph Langley officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Survivors include his wife, Mollie Scott Isbell of Huntsville; four daughters, Christa Burridge and Elizabeth Hornbuckle, both of Huntsville, Leslie Coughlin of Carmel, Ind., and Margie Higginbotham of Meridian, Miss.; one son, Spencer Isbell of Huntsville; one sister, Margaret McCoy of Huntsville; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charlie L. Ross
Charlie Lee Ross, 61, of Huntsville died Monday. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer M.B. Church with the Rev. Endia Scruggs officiating.
Burial will be in Big Cove Cemetery with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Moore of Huntsville and Stacey Nance of Gurley; two sons, Tim Slay of Huntsville and Terrence Nance of Gurley; three sisters, Callie Bradford and Minnie Norman, both of Chattanooga, and Catherine Gurley of Huntsville; and three grandchildren.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Charles B. Rymer
Charles B. Rymer Sr. of Huntsville died Tuesday at his home. Valhalla Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Karl W. Schmalz
Karl William Schmalz, 74, of Huntsville died Tuesday in Huntsville. The funeral will be Friday at 6 p.m. at Ridouts Roebuck Chapel funeral home in Birmingham.
Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery in Johnstown, Penn.
Mr. Schmalz lived in Birmingham 38 years before moving to Huntsville. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars chapter in Birmingham and was an insurance adjuster for NCCI before he retired.
Survivors include one daughter, Quida Louise Wiggs of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Karl Wiggs and Margurite Leach, both of Birmingham, and George Wiggs of Huntsville; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 6 at the funeral home.

Adina B. Smith
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Adina B. Smith, 89, died Wednesday at a Florida hospital. The graveside service will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home will be in charge of burial.
Survivors include one daughter, Edith Toogood of Fort Lauderdale; one son, Thomas W. Smith of Boynton Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Cecelia Williams of Augusta, Ga., and Virginia Butner of Pontagorda, Fla.; one brother, William Butner of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and two granddaughters, one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
