Howard Badgett
RUSSELLVILLE - Howard H. Badgett, 70, died Thursday at a Russellville Hospital. The funeral will be today at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Joe Lenox officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens. Mr. Badgett was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 371 and a member of Union Local 285. He was retired from the U.S. Reduction and Maintenance Department after working there 29 years. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Gibson and Mary Seal. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jacqueline Hamilton Badgett; two sons, Charles Howard Badgett of Hazel Green and Johnny Lee Badgett of Russellville; a daughter, Linda Dale Badgett Pruett of Russellville; a brother, Cordy Lee Badgett of Leoma, Tenn.; two sisters, Jean Sterling of Russellville and Judy Brooks of New Port Richey, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

Wynella Caudle
HARTSELLE - Mrs. Wynella C. Caudle, 81, of 501 Carrol St., died Thursday at Hartselle Medical Center. The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Bethel Methodist Church near Eva with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Methodist Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Caudle was a member of Holy Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Euretha Hooper of Cullman and Mary Carnes of Vinemont; five sons, Malcolm Caudle of Davison, Mich., Albert Caudle of Cullman, Charles Caudle of Flint, Mich., Jim Caudle and Wayne Caudle, both of Hartselle; 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Lura Field
PITMAN, N.J. - Mrs. Lura E. Field, 86, of Pitman, N.J., died Tuesday at her home. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday at Memory Hill Cemetery in Albertville with Adams Funeral Home of Albertville directing. Survivors include her husband, Warren A. Field; a daughter, Linda L. Kilbert of Pitman; a brother, Billy Wilks of Albertville; a sister, Lucretia Spegle of Albertville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Joe Franklin Sr.
Joe Raby Franklin Sr., 62, of 2709 Thornton Circle died Wednesday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Monday at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Huntsville with the Rev. Tommy Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Madison Crossroads Cemetery in Toney with Taylor Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Franklin was retired as housing administrator for the Huntsville Housing Authority. He was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. He served in the Air Force in Korea and was a member of American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Elks Club and the Eagles Club. Survivors include his wife, Violet Jean Franklin; one son, Joe Franklin Jr. of Odenville; one brother, Tommy Franklin of Kentucky and two sisters, Jean Franklin Spray and Ruby Franklin Boggs, both of Huntsville. Visitation will be today and Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. The body will be at the church an hour before the funeral.

Mildred M. Grider
SCOTTSBORO - Mrs. Mildred M. Grider, died Friday at Scottsboro Health Care Center. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with Jack Wilhelm officiating. Burial will be in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood. Mrs. Grider was a member of the Broad Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly T. Grider. Survivors include one daughter, Sue Rogers of Bridgeport; three sons, Kelly Grider of Huntsville, Charles Grider of Chattanooga and David Grider of Jasper, Tenn.; two sisters, Earlyne Rorex of Tuscon, Ariz., and Josephine Stewart of Scottsboro; two brothers, Clifford Morris of Lancaster, Calif., and Jack Morris of Lampasas, Texas; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Clarence Jackson
Clarence W. Jackson, 69, of Huntsville died Wednesday at a local hospital. The memorial service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Willowbrook Baptist Church with the Rev. John Dees officiating. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will be in charge. Mr. Jackson was a graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelors degree in accounting. Survivors include his wife, Sara Nell Jackson; one daughter, Nancy Reed of Huntsville; one son, Randal Jackson of Huntsville; two brothers, Cecil Jackson of Knoxville, Tenn., and Charles Jackson of El Paso, Texas; three sisters, Bobby Griswold of Huntsville, Lila Wells of Birmingham and Rose Moseley of Knoxville; and four grandchildren, Rachel Ashley Reed, Blake Andrew Reed, Austin May Jackson and Reese Vaughan Jackson, all of Huntsville.

Wynell Kelley
ARAB - Mrs. Wynell Kelley, 64, of Arab, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Pate Kelley; three daughters, Sandra Joan Coker, Tammy Ann Kelley and Terri Lynn Haga, all of Arab; three brothers, Kenneth Scott, Billy Ray Scott and L.J. Scott, all of Arab; a sister, Virginia Bell of Arab; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Harry Marsinkus Harry P. Marsinkus, 79, of Huntsville died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Summerlin and Dr. Walter Nunn officiating. Burial will be Monday in Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg, Miss. Mr. Marsinkus worked at the U.S. Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal until retirement. He was a member of University Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mildred M. Marsinkus of Huntsville; two brothers, Joseph M. Smith of Scranton, Pa., and Donald Marsinkavage of Milpitas, Calif.; a sister, Irene S. Schubert of Newfield, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to University Baptist Church.

Talmadge Meadows
DECATUR - Talmadge William ''Skip Meadows, 70, of Decatur, died Friday at his residence. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Meadows attended Auburn University, was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and was retired from Decatur Telecable, where he was vice president and operations manager. He was preceded in death by one son, Bradley Arthur Meadows. Survivors include his wife, Dot Meadows; three daughters, Debra Meadows Fairbanks of Decatur, MLee Meadows Zaldivar of Atascadero, Calif., and Cathy Meadows Jones of Albertville; two sons, Charles Michael Meadows of Brandon, Miss., and William David Meadows of Decatur; and 11 grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley or Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Emily Moorman
Emily Pitman Moorman, 85, of Huntsville died Thursday at a local hospital. The graveside service will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. William H. Bostick Jr. officiating. Mrs. Moorman was a volunteer with Burritt Museum and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert S. Moorman; three sons, Robert S. Moorman Jr. of Huntsville, William R. Moorman of Baton Rouge and M. Ridley Moorman of Denver; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today at Laughlin Service Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Donna Newton
Donna V. Newton, 43, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be announced by Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Mrs. Newton was a graduate of Grissom High School and the University of Alabama. She received a masters degree from UAH. She worked for Huntsville City Schools. Survivors include her husband, David E. Newton of Huntsville; a son, Ryan Lee Newton of Huntsville; his parents, Don Van Nostrand and Lana Van Nostrand, both of Huntsville; two brothers, Randall Louis Van Nostrand and Richard Lee Van Nostrand, both of Huntsville; and four nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or the American Cancer Society.
