Charlotte Ann Aycock
Charlotte Ann Aycock, 57, of Huntsville died Saturday at a Nashville hospital. The graveside service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. Walter Nunn officiating.
Laughlin Service Funeral Home will direct.
Survivors include her husband, David L. Aycock; two daughters, Anna A. Throneberry of Madison and Leighe Fousher of Alabaster; one son, David L. Aycock Jr. of Huntsville; one sister, Patricia C. Vaughn of Madison; his parents, Glover C. and Frances N. Cunningham of Huntsville; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 today at Laughlin.

Oakley W. Baron
VISTA, Calif. - Col. Oakley W. Baron, 81, died July 29. The funeral mass was Aug. 3 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Interment will be at a later date at Fort Rosecrans Cemetery in San Diego.
Col. Baron was a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and the U.S. Air Force, serving from World War II through the Vietnam War and in the space program. He retired as chief of aircraft operations supporting NASAs Apollo program at Cape Canaveral, Fla. He received many military medals including the Legion of Merit and the Purple Heart for injuries in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Baron; one son, Robert Oakley Baron of Huntsville; two daughters, Barbara Lynn Osborn of Huntsville and Bonnie Diane Scully of Asheville, N.C.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Frank Clark
ARAB - Frank Clark, 81, of 2571 Cranford Road died Friday at his home. A graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Clark; one son, Steve Clark of Arab; one sister, Christine Sanderson of Selma; and two grandchildren.
William T. Curry
TONEY - William Theo Curry, 72, died Friday at a Huntsville hospital. Spry Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Mr. Curry was a native of Madison County, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie E. Curry; two sons, Cecil Curry and Perry Curry, both of Toney; four sisters, Nell Sharp and Alma Dean Campbell, both of Huntsville, Winona Curry of San Leandro, Calif., and Thelma Jean of Fayetteville, Tenn.; two brothers, Cecil Curry of Huntsville and John Curry of Arkansas; and three grandchildren.
Evelyn Huey Hood
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Evelyn Huey Hood, 74, formerly of Huntsville, died Thursday. The graveside service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta, Ga.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Ronald A. Hood and Pat Slack Hood, both of Valdosta, Ga.; one sister, Elsie Lacasse of Augusta, Me.; and one grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Home Health Care, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, Ga. 30904.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Noah Chase Johnson
Infant Noah Chase Johnson died Thursday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Love Mausoleum in Valhalla Memory Gardens with the Rev. Keith Argo officiating and Valhalla Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his parents, Roger and Susi Johnson; one brother, Austen Hunter Johnson, all of Toney; and his grandparents, Danny and Sandy Certain of Maysville and Edward and Mary Johnson of Toney.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the mausoleum.
Elizabeth C. Potter
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. - Elizabeth C. Potter, 88, died Thursday at a Georgia nursing home. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Caldwell officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Potter was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville Beach and a member of the American War Mothers and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include one son, David Webster of Cumming, Ga.; one brother, Thomas Church of Hazel Green ; and one granddaughter and two great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be today at Laughlin from 6 to 8 p.m.
J.D. Prince
BOAZ - J.D. Prince, 76, of 788 Walter Whitt Road died Saturday at his home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Happy Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Dene Prince; one daughter, Sharon Hamby of Boaz; two sons, Jimmy D. Prince of Prattville and Gary M. Prince of Altoona; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Ohmer Gette Rector
ELKMONT - Ohmer Gette Rector, 85, died Thursday at an Athens hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel in Huntsville.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mr. Rector was a native of Whitman, Tenn., and lived most of his life in Madison County. He was a retired textile worker and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Rector; one son, Lloyd Rector of Elkmont; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Spry.
Ross P. Starkey
Ross P. Starkey, 90, of Huntsville died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. William Bostick and the Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Starkey served two terms on the local Senior Centers board of directors. He worked with Alabama Power Co. and Huntsville Utilities where he retired after 37 years. Mr. Starkey played with various Huntsville bands as a brass player and was in the Big Brothers Class at First United Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah H. Starkey; four daughters, Peggy S. Christian of Huntsville, Paula S. Cox of Madison, Elizabeth S. Owen of Rock Hill, S.C., and Virginia S. Watkins of Tampa; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 3 to 5 p.m. at Laughlin.
Memorial donations may be made to the Love Exchange of First United Methodist Church, Hospice Family Care or a favorite charity.
Bertha Mae Statum
Bertha Mae Statum, 88, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with Dr. James Junior officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Statum was a Madison County native and was retired from Huntsville Hospital. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret O. Balch of Huntsville and Juanita Lightsey of Childersburg; two sons, Edward ''Ed Meeks of Big Cove and Charles R. Meeks of Hazel Green ; and 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 3:30 to 9 p.m.
Willa Dean Taylor
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. - Willa Dean Taylor, 67, of 103 Wallace Drive died Friday at a Lincoln County nursing home. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Taylor was a waitress and a member of the West End Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Pam Underhill of Shelbyville and Gail Howell, Sissy West and Dorothy Taylor, all of Fayetteville; one son, Doug Armstrong of Flintville; five sisters, Pearl May Westbrook of Winchester, Jolene Caldwell of Rogersville and Sue Moore, Mary Towry and Laura Williams, all of Fayetteville; two brothers, Billy Whitaker and Don Whitaker, both of Fayetteville; and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Arvie C. Worley
Arvie Cecil Worley, 78, of Huntsville died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. David McMichael and John Hogan officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Laughlin Service Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Worley was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Lee Vaughn Worley; one son, Larry Worley of Falkville; four sisters, Alleen Balch, Margaret Vaughn, Laura Taylor and Maynie League, all of Huntsville; two brothers, Thomas Worley of Huntsville and J.B. Worley of Scottsboro; and two granddaughters, Allison Worley and Brittany Worley, both of Huntsville.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Zion Baptist building fund.
