Audrey I. Branham
BELOIT, Wis. - Audrey I. Branham, 82, died Monday at an Illinois hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Fred C. Olson Funeral Chapels, East Chapel, in Rockford, Ill.
Burial will be in Willwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Branham was a native of South Dakota, but spent most of her life in Huntsville.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle Branham of Beloit; two daughters, Sharon F. Place of Beloit and Diane E. McNeill of Green Bay, Wis.; two sisters, Rena Eastman of Salem, S.D., and Eva Mehlbrech of Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Alvin Roberts of Scalesmound, Ill.; and six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Huntsville Hospital Main Auxiliary.

Hazel H. Brown
Hazel H. Brown, 84, of Huntsville died Monday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church with Dr. Harold Dowler and Dr. John Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one son, William Earl Brown of Ridgecrest, Calif.; one grandson, Christopher Brown of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church.

Mary Davis
Mary Davis, 95, of 810 Appleby St. died Saturday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Big Shiloh P.B. Church with the Rev. Herbert Cartwright officiating.
Burial will be in Royal Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two sisters, Martha Coleman of Huntsville and Mary Robinson of St. Louis, Mo.; and one brother, Ferdinand Hammonds of Madison.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Glenda A. Green
GROVE OAK - Glenda Ann Green, 47, died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Norman Stewart officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include her fianc, Charles White of Grove Oak; two daughters, Teresa Mosley of Ohio and Irene Kennedy of Tennessee; her mother, Jewell Henderson of Iuka, Miss.; two sisters, Sue Hilton of Illinois and Annette Henderson of Mississippi; one brother, Leonard Henderson of Mississippi; and five grandchildren.

Margaret B. Leonard
Margaret B. Leonard, 96, of Huntsville died Monday at a local nursing home. Laughlin Service Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Robert R. Leonard of Huntsville; two grandsons, Robert M. Leonard of Phoenix, Ariz., and Craig S. Leonard of Cullman; and four great-grandchildren.

Lora G. Marshall
DUTTON - Lora Green Marshall, 86, died Friday at a Chattanooga hospital. The funeral was Sunday at the Section Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Boland and the Rev. Dale Haynes officiating.
Burial was in Chaneys Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Billie Jean Wheeler of Wildwood, Ga.; one son, Charles R. ''Cotton Marshall of Dutton; and four grandchildren.

Dorothy E. Maxwell
Dorothy Ellen Maxwell, 71, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Faith Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Joel S. McGraw officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Maxwell was a member of Faith Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Densford of Huntsville and Elizabeth Johnston of Memphis; one son, Gerald Campbell of Independence, Miss.; one brother, Tommy Coke of Arizona; three sisters, Evelyn Miller of Arizona, Sarah McCall of Memphis and JoAnne Hackle of Gainesville, Ga.; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to LifeLine Childrens Services, 2908 Pumphouse Road, Birmingham 35243.

Ann E. Moon
Ann E. Moon of Huntsville died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Dennis Wiles officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include two sisters, Willa M. "Sweetie" Eslick of Huntsville and Belle Moon Clayton of Fayetteville, Tenn.; and two brothers, Roark Moon and William M. Moon, both of Huntsville.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Foundation or to a favorite charity.

Violet J. Phillips
MARTINEZ, Ga. - Violet Juanita Phillips died Monday at her home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Martinez with Dr. K.C. Stevens officiating.
Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Grovetown, Ga., with Elliot Sons Funeral Home of Martinez in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Marcy Jewett of Martinez; two sons, Keenyn Ray Phillips of Martinez and Michael Ross Phillips of Aiken, S.C.; her mother, Violet Agatha Warden of Martinez; two brothers, Sam Warden of Greenville, S.C., and L.E. "Butch" Warden of Six Miles, S.C.; two sisters, Marguerite Wilson of Greenville and Pamela Hawkins of Huntsville; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

David A. Pressnell
ATHENS - David A. Pressnell, 76, of 14831 Seven Mile Post Road died Sunday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Tim Anderson and Malcolm Andrews officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Pressnell was a native of Madison County, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Round Island Baptist Church and was preceded in death by one son, Donny R. Pressnell.
Survivors include his wife, Glenis Pressnell; one daughter, Donna Pressnell; one sister, Irene McLemore; two brothers, John Pressnell and Reuben Pressnell; and three grandchildren.

Florence E. Shelton
ATHENS - Florence Elizabeth Shelton, 83, of 1104 Vaughn Drive died Monday at an Athens hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Carl Witty and Thomas Hagewood officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by one son, Charles Shelton.
Survivors include her husband, Bud Shelton of Athens; one daughter, Peggy Wright of Athens; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ellen Elizabeth Sims
ATHENS - Ellen Elizabeth Sims, 83, of 1600 West Hobbs St. died Sunday at her home. The funeral was to be today at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Screws and Dr. Curtis Coleman officiating.
Burial was in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Sims and her late husband, Fulton Sims, owned and operated Sims Grocery on Coleman Hill for 27 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Tosh of Athens; one son, Newton Sims of Grant; and five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

James B. Smith
ALBERTVILLE - James Buron Smith, 71, of 213 Conway St. died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Adams Funeral Home of Albertville directing.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Smith; five daughters, Sheila Hawes, Denise Bazhenow, Terri Smith, Linda Zimmerman and Yancy Reynolds, all of Illinois; two sons, Max Smith and Bill Smith, both of Illinois; one brother, Hulon Smith of Union Grove; and 13 grandchildren.

Ruby D. Smith
FLORENCE - Ruby D. Smith, 88, died Saturday. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at North Wood United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tolan Whitten and the Rev. Mark Parris officiating.
Burial will be in Green view Memorial Park with Green view Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Coffee High School and Florence State Teachers College. She was a retired first-grade teacher.
Survivors include her husband, James J. Smith of Florence; one son, James E. Smith of Dumfries, Va.; one daughter, Judith Ann Tapp of Huntsville; two sisters, Dorothy Forrest and Reba Shelton, both of Florence; and five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Visitation was to be tonight at the funeral home.
Her body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Dennis Syester
Athens - Dennis Syester, 46, of 20383 Piney Chapel Road died Monday at his home. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements.

Emma J. Sykes
Emma Jane Sykes, 73, of Huntsville died Sunday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Melvin Kilpatrick and the Rev. Ron Pelton officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Sykes was a native of Doniphan, Mo., but had lived in Huntsville since 1965.
Survivors include her husband, James Sykes of Huntsville; three daughters, Lynn Shepherd of Brentwood, Tenn., Barb Coffey of Huntsville and Lois Oliver of Nashville; one son, Jim Sykes of Clinton Township, Mich.; one sister, Verna Smith of Doniphan, Mo.; two brothers, Joe Wall of Waltham, Mass., and Herb Wall of Sharpes Chapel, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.

Matt Tibbs
TONEY - Matt Tibbs, 85, of 144 Tibbs Lane died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion M.B. Church with the Rev. Richard Hamlett officiating.
Burial will be in Tibbs Cemetery with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include six daughters, Helen Tibbs Wilson of Birmingham, Fannie Tibbs Leslie of Louisville, Ky., Nelcine Tibbs Robinson of Narvest, Patricia Tibbs Betts of Toney, Wanda Tibbs of Gardena, Calif., and Alicia Tibbs Tolsom of Severn, Md.; five sons, Lewis Tibbs, Matthew Tibbs Jr. and Donald Tibbs, all of Cleveland, Ohio, James Tibbs of Toney and Bobby Tibbs of Gainesville, Fla.; three sisters, Dessie Tibbs Turner of Huntsville, Daisy Tibbs Dawson of Seattle, Wash., and Minnie Tibbs Binford of Nashville; one brother, Robert Tibbs of Seattle; and 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
His body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
