Oba E. Belcher
ATHENS - Oba E. Belcher, 74, of Green way Drive died Saturday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Dewayne ''Bubba Belcher officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Belcher was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a former coach and educator at Athens State University.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Belcher; one daughter, Leah Oakley of Athens; one son, Dewayne ''Bubba Belcher of Bluefield, Va.; and four grandchildren.

Otis L. Bice
NEW MARKET - Otis L. Bice, 90, died Sunday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dwight Everett officiating.
Burial will be in Rice Cemetery.
Mr. Bice was a Madison County native, a retired farmer and a member of Hurricane Grove Baptist Church where he was treasurer for 40 years. He was preceded in death by a son, James F. Bice.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Bice of New Market; two sons, Stuart Bice of Aushburn, Va., and Stan Bice of New Market; one stepson, Charles Wayne Campbell of New Market; three stepdaughters, Barbara Sharp and Sherry Sharp, both of New Market, and Elaine Owens of Elora, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Fredreichs Ataxia Foundation or to Hospice Family Care.

Bobbie J. Futch
TONEY - Bobbie Jane Futch, 54, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Futch was a native of Florida and had lived in Huntsville since 1985.
Survivors include three sons, John Green and Joseph Green, both of Texas, and Robert Futch of Huntsville; three sisters, Charlie Etty of Toney, Mary Durrance of Hazel Green and Patricia Campbell of Clearmont, Fla.; three brothers, Johnny Weaver, Charles Etty and Billy Giles, all of Orlando, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Georgia A. Gill
Georgia Anna Gill, 96, of 2221 Bell Ave. died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Union Chapel M.B. Church with the Rev. O. Wendell Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park with Royal Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one niece, Carrie M. Matthews of Decatur, and four grandchildren.

Dorothy F. Green
ARAB - Dorothy Fay Green, 56, of 180 Vivian Jarrett Circle died Saturday at a Birmingham hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab.
Burial was to be in New Brashiers Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Butler and Debbie Wilbourn, both of Arab; her mother, Mae Bright of Arab; three sisters, Mattie Lambert of Arab, Geraldine Byrd of New Hope and Ruth Oden of Union Grove; one brother, Danny Bright of Guntersville; and one half-brother, Lewayne Bright of Arab.

Lillian R. Hensley
ARDMORE, Ala. - Lillian R. Hensley, 76, died Saturday at a local nursing home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Devotion.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Hensley was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was retired from Redstone Arsenal.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Huskey Labbe of Ardmore, Ala.; one son, Mike Hensley of Hot Springs, N.C.; three sisters, Margaret Green e of Norfolk, Va., Hulan Hensley of Rock Hill, S.C., and Mildred Emmons of Pensacola; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Richard L. Johnson
Richard L. Johnson, 77, of Huntsville died Friday at his home. The funeral was to be today at 11 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with Dr. Murray Wilton officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked at Marks-Fitzgerald Furniture Co. as a salesman and was an active volunteer at Huntsville Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Johnson of Huntsville; four daughters, Diane Martin of Lebanon, Tenn., Judi Campbell and Doris Campbell, both of Huntsville, and Angie Todd of Arlington, Texas; one son, Ricky Johnson of Huntsville; one sister, Jessie Louise Gunter of Lebanon, Tenn.; one brother, Clayton Johnson of Lebanon, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jay M. McCormick
Jay M. McCormick, 89, of Huntsville died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mr. McCormick was born in Coffee County, Tenn., lived for many years in Madison County and was a retired textile worker.
Survivors include one son, Marion ''Buddy McCormick of Huntsville; four daughters, Jadena Loy of Huntsville, Pat Pepper of Athens, Nina Green e of Madison and Ann Ellard of Jacksonville, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Elaine A. McKelvey
HAZEL GREEN - Elaine A. McKelvey, 79, died Friday. The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at Green view Funeral Home chapel in Florence with Dr. Gill McKee officiating.
Burial was in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McKelvey was a retired bookkeper and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert E. McKelvey of Palestine, Texas; one daughter, Edith June Phillips of Hazel Green ; five sisters, Mildred Hope, Nellis Dickens and Vivian Mason, all of Estil Springs, Tenn., Doris Hodge of Atlanta and Edwina Matson of Austin, Texas; and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Hal G. McKelvey
SCOTTSBORO - Hal G. McKelvey, 83, died Friday at his home. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Dr. John David Hall officiating.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery in Carthage, Mo.
Survivors include one son, Richard L. McKelvey of Joplin, Mo.; one sister, Edith Hill of Montgomery; one brother, Roy McKelvey of Long Beach, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the Scottsboro Lions Club.
Visitation was to be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mattie Milner
LONG ISLAND, N.Y. - Mattie Bell Poe Milner, 84, died Tuesday in New York. The funeral was to be today at 3 p.m. at Livingston Chapel AME Church.
Burial was to be in Warrenton Cemetery with Carr Funeral Home of Guntersville directing.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Lawrence and Mary Tilghman, both of New York; one son, Larry Milner of New York; four sisters, Sidney Mae Fennell, Odell Sausbury, Ludie Tatum and Alberta Sloan, all of Guntersville; two brothers, Leroy Poe and James Poe, both of Guntersville; and 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Odis L. Pierce
ALBERTVILLE - Odis L. Pierce, 65, of 1223 Nixon Chapel Road died Saturday at his home. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Albertville.
Burial was in Douglas Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Woodall of Pinson and Tim Woodall of Dothan; and two grandchildren.

Henry Terrell
BOAZ - Henry Terrell, 93, of Boaz died Saturday at an Attalla nursing home. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home in Boaz.
Burial was to be in Walls Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
