Abe Finch
Abe Finch, who had worked in the steel industry in Selma, died Tuesday at a local nursing facility. He was 72.
Survivors include six daughters, Bobbie Smith, Linda Waiter, Evelyn Mose, Emily Coleman and Velma McCall, all of Mobile, and Tammy Edwards of Selma; his father, Lynn Finch of Bay Minette; one stepdaughter, Vanessa Finch of Mobile; two brothers, Daniel Finch and Ernest Hill, both of Mobile; one sister, Annie Finch of Bay Minette; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on, with graveside services set for 1 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

William A. Martin
IRVINGTON - William A. Martin, a U.S. Air Force veteran, died Tuesday at the family residence. He was 72.
Martin was a native of New Port, Ark., and a longtime resident of Irvington.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Martin; three daughters, Brenda Sprinkle, Shirley Bosarge and Donna Barbour; and two sons, Billy Martin and David Martin, all of Irvington; one sister and one brother, Alice Condrey and Alvie Martin, both of Mount View, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Oddfellows Hall in Bayou La Batre, where services are set for 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery. Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street is in charge of arrangements.

Margery W. Markley
Margery W. Markley, who served as a sergeant in the Women's Army Corps during World War II, died Saturday at her residence in Mobile.
Mrs. Markley, a native of Chicago, was a longtime resident of Mobile and Baldwin counties. She was of the Episcopal faith.
She was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include her cousin, Paul S. Wakefield of Austin, Texas; and her niece, Susan Simmons of Bellingham, Wash.
Graveside services with military honors will take place June 10 in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola. Radney-Belmany Funeral Home on Grelot Road is in charge of arrangements.

Daniel D. Cook
Daniel D. "Dee Dee-Peanut" Cook, a retired longshoreman with ILA No. 1410, died Monday at a local health care facility. He was 86.
Cook, a native of Conecuh County, was a resident of Mobile.
He was a member of Stewart Memorial CME Church and the Men's Singing Aggregation.
Survivors include four children, Joe Louis Cook of Mobile, Evelyn Sutton and George Cook, both of Chicago, and Oscar F. Cook of Staten Island, N.Y.; one sister, Annie Cox of Mobile; one brother, Roosevelt Cook of Georgiana, Ala.; 28 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. Friday at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home. Viewing also will begin at noon Saturday at Stewart Memorial CME Church, 1266 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., with visitation at 2 p.m. and services at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery.

Dorothy G. Lee
Dorothy G. Lee, a homemaker and resident of First Baptist Church of Satsuma, died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was 73.
Mrs. Lee was a native of Mobile and a resident of Satsuma.
Survivors include her husband, Emmett Lee of Satsuma; her children, Wilma Jones and John Lee, both of Mobile, Barbara Knight and Evie Hartley, both of Satsuma; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with services at 3 p.m.. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Burney T. Bennett
Burney T. Bennett, who had been employed as a construction worker, died May 28 in a local hospital. He was 71.
Bennett, a resident of Mobile, was a native of Wilcox County and a member of First Baptist Church of Pine Hill.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one son, Donald Bennett of New Orleans; one brother, Johnnie Bennett of Mobile; one sister, Ossylin Randolph of Detroit; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hodge's Funeral Chapel, with services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery.

Dwayne Andre Sigler
CAMDEN - Dwayne Andre "Luke" Sigler, a Mobile native, died Sunday in a Selma hospital at the age of 38.
Sigler was a member of Third Baptist Church of Whistler. He had lived in Camden for the past four months.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, the Rev. James and Mary Sigler of Camden; three sons, Dewayne Sashener, Derrick Sashener and Christopher Craig, of Mobile; five sisters, Nina Woods of Mobile, Kathy Durant, Shereall Dunn, Jacquelyn Knight and Belinda Goode, all of Atlanta; two stepsisters, Janifer Cunningham and Rashonda Alexander, both of Camden; and two brothers, Charlie Sigler and Byron Sigler, both of Mobile.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pine Flat Baptist Church in Hybart, Ala., with services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Jackson Memorial Funeral Home of Jackson, Ala., directing.
