Harold F. Murphree
LAS VEGAS - Harold F. Murphree, a Mobile native, died May 26 in a Las Vegas hospital. He was 72.
Murphree lived in Las Vegas for the past eight years.
The University of Alabama graduate had worked as a geophysicist in gas and oil exploration.
Survivors include his wife, Bette Murphree of Las Vegas; four sons, Thomas Murphree of San Francisco, David Murphree of Boston, Jeff Sinclair and Tom Sinclair, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Kathy Hotz of Valencia, Calif., and Susan Moore of Grass Valley, Calif.; one sister, Ruth Erickson of Mobile; one brother, Frank Murphree of Fairhope; and four grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.

Tammy D. Bazzel
Tammy Danette Bazzel, a Mobile native and resident, died Saturday at her home. She was 39.
Bazzel was a daycare worker and a member of the Parkway Church of God.
She is survived by her mother, Delores Katherin Chapman of Mobile; a son, Donald J. Bazzel of Mobile; and two brothers, Johnny Galen Bazzel Sr. and Anthony Darin Bazzel, both of Mobile.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are with Gilmer's Funeral Service on Zeigler Blvd.

Janet Herrin
Janet Rose DeMaria Herrin, a Cincinnati native and an Irvington resident, died Wednesday at a local hospital. She was 57.
She is survived by Jimmy Herrin Sr.; one daughter, Sandra Gimlin of Pensacola; three sons, Jimmy Clifton Herrin Jr., John Robert Herrin and Joseph Wayne Herrin; two sisters, Joanne Hopkins and Mary Berding; one brother, Gene DeMaria; her step-mother, Orpha DeMaria; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Serenity Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Allen Hilliard
Allen Hilliard, a Clarke County native and Mobile resident, died Thursday at a local hospital.
Hilliard was a truck driver and a member of Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
He is survived by three sons, Allen Hilliard of Mobile, Bernard Hilliard of Jackson, and Joseph John Hilliard of Mobile; two daughters, Janice Smiliey of Mobile, and Janet Armstead of Mobile; four brothers; two sisters; 28 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Heart of Mary Catholic Church, followed by services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Plateau Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Memorial Funeral Home in Prichard.

Susie K. Noyd
CITRONELLE - Susie King Noyd, a Citronelle native and resident, died Thursday at a local hospital.
Noyd was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Citronelle.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Noyd of Citronelle; two sons, Harry W. Noyd of Mobile and Roger Noyd of Citronelle; two daughters, Ella Noyd and Rhonda Noyd, both of Citronelle; one brother, Andrew Shepard of Mobile; three sisters, Willie Shepard, Mable Skanes and Clareesa Roberts, all of Citronelle; a stepsister, Laura Butler of Citronelle; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Citronelle, followed by services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Memorial Funeral Home in Prichard.

Loretta A. Daniels
Loretta Arlene Daniels, a choir member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church, died Thursday at a local hospital, She was 80.
Mrs. Daniels, who resided in Mobile, was a native of Graceville, Minn.
She is survived by her husband, M.G. (Dan) Daniels of Mobile; a son, Stephen Robert Daniels of Mobile; a daughter, Linda Lee Morningstar of Gulfport, Miss.; three sisters, Dorothy A. Anderson of Jordan, Minn., Verna Mae Talmadge and Violet E. Bolduce, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cottage Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Newton, Miss.
Memorials may be made to the Mobile Sav-A-Life Foundation.

Floyd G. Gartman
CITRONELLE - Floyd Garner Gartman, a former carpenter, died Friday at a local health care facility. He was 90.
Gartman was a lifelong resident of Citronelle.
He is survived by two sons, Floyd Gartman of Orlando, Fla., and Albert Gartman of St. Paul, Minn.; a daughter, Dorothy Barley of Mobile; a brother, Joe Gartman of Grove Hill; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 8 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. Services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial at Lambert Cemetery in Citronelle.
