Gabriella Barclay
Gabriella Barclay, who had worked for many years at S.H. Kress Co., died Saturday at Allen Memorial Home. She was 87.
Miss Barclay, affectionately known as "Gay Gay" to family and friends, was a parishioner at Little Flower Catholic Church, where she served as a member of the Legion of Mary, a Eucharistic minister and on the Altar Society. She was named Valentine of the Year in 1981.
At the time of her death, she was president of the Resident Council at Allen Memorial Home.
Survivors include three nephews, Bob Carlen, Clarence Barclay and Tom Barclay; two nieces, Constance L. Barclay and Margaret Gabriella Barclay Deese; and a number of great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Miss Barclay donated her body to science. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at Little Flower Catholic Church.

Billy Wayne McCrory
Billy Wayne McCrory, who had worked with the Mobile County public school system as a safety inspector, died Sunday at a local hospital. He was 57.
The Greenville, Ala., native was a resident of Mobile for the past 54 years.
He retired from the school system after 18 years.
He was a member of Creekwood Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Betty Lowry McCrory of Mobile; one son, Billy McCrory of Mobile; one daughter, Tammy McCrory of Mobile; three brothers, William D. McCrory of Mobile, James W. McCrory of Oklahoma and Joseph F. McCrory of Huntsville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight. at Serenity Funeral Home, where services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.

A. Boyd Miller Sr.
A. Boyd Miller Sr., a native and resident of Mobile, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was 51.
Miller was a general contractor. He was a member of the Flora-Bama Hunting Club and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Diane A. Miller of Mobile; two sons, Jeremy J. Miller and A. B. "Scott" Miller Jr. of Mobile; two brothers, Charles Miller of Mobile and Hilton Miller of Texas; and one sister, Claudia Pickett of Texas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Joy Marie Moore
Joy Marie Moore, a registered nurse, died Sunday at a local hospital. She was 68.
Mrs. Moore, a native of Richton, Miss., was a resident of Chickasaw. She had worked as a neuro-intensive care nurse at Mobile Infirmary.
Survivors include her husband, William A. Moore Sr.; three children, W.A. Moore Jr. of Gulf Shores, Pamela Moore of New Orleans and Betty Migues of Mobile; her mother, Emma Walley of Pascagoula; two sisters, Gloria Heron of Indiana, Pa., and Patricia Stem of Ocean Springs, Miss.; and four grandchildren.
Services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland and at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Zion Cemetery in Sand Hill, Miss.

Richard Seymour
Richard "Butch" Seymour, a native of Axis, Ala., and resident of Mobile, died Wednesday at a local hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Neba Winrich of Axis; one daughter of Georgia; and one brother of Tennesssee.
Graveside services will be held in Tennessee at a later date. Radney Funeral Home in Saraland handled local arrangements.

Evelyn M. Singleton
Evelyn Marie Singleton, a member of the Martin Luther King Redevelopment Organization, died Monday at her home.
Ms. Singleton, a native of Mobile, lived in New York City for more than 40 years before returning to Mobile 12 years ago.
She was a retiree of Eveready Printing Co. where she was employed in sales correspondence for more than 37 years.
She was a parishioner at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where she was a member of the St. Martha's Sanctuary Guild and the Altar Society. Other memberships included the Mobile Chapter of Drexel Society and the Southeast Region Alpha Phi Chi Chapter of Theta Lambda Rho.
Among her survivors is her sister, Velma S. Johnson of Mobile.
Arrangements will be announced by Johnson-Allen Mortuary.

William P. Green
HENDERSON, Nev. - William "Billy" Paul Green, who had been involved in the racing scene in Mobile for many years, died Wednesday at a hospital in Phoenix. He was 61.
The Chickasaw native formerly lived in Pensacola for 30 years. He retired from the U.S. Civil Service at Pensacola Naval Air Station after 25 years.
Green resided in Henderson for about the past six years.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Green of Henderson; his mother and stepfather, Vera and Leonard Miller of Saraland; one son, William Green of Mobile; one daughter, Lori Bryant of Mobile; two brothers, Silas "Boe" Green of Pensacola and Silas "Lavern" Green of Mobile; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services took place in Henderson. A memorial service will take place at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland at 7 p.m. Wednesday with visitation from 5 p.m.
