Graveside services were held Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery for Crilla Mansfield Jordan, a native of Monticello, Ark., and resident of Baton Rouge, La.
She is survived by four daughters, Dottie Carter of Baton Rouge, and Bettye Eaker, Susie Jeffries and Charlotte Roper of Mobile; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Radney Funeral Home in Saraland.

Irma Wyrosdic
Irma Lee Pugh Wyrosdic, a native and resident of Mobile, died Thursday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Wyrosdic, who was retired from Brookley Air Force Base, was an active member of Riverside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Samuel J. Wyrosdic of Mobile; one son, Eric Wyrosdic of Philadelphia; one daughter, Donna Lierheimer of Columbia, Mo.; two sisters, Virgie Akridge of Lillian and Elvia Pugh of Pensacola; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Pine Crest Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.

Virginia L. Cassady
FORT DEPOSIT - Virginia Louise Cassady, a retired registered nurse for the Butler County Health Department, died Wednesday at L.V. Stabler Hospital in Greenville. She was 72.
Mrs. Cassady, a native of Hot Springs, Ark., and resident of Fort Deposit, was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, W.R. "Bill" Cassady of Fort Deposit; two children, Magistrate William E. "Billy" Cassady of Mobile and Jessica "Jessie" Cassady Guyer of Lamoille, Nev.; a sister, Betty Parker Morgando of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Dunklin-Herndon Funeral Home of Greenville. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Myrtlewood Cemetery in Fort Deposit.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.

Rachelle L. Cassity
HUNTSVILLE - Dr. Rachelle Lynne Cassity, a native of Hattiesburg, Miss., and resident of Huntsville, died Friday at a local hospital.
Miss Cassity, who earned her medical degree in 1991 from the University of South Alabama, was an assistant professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville School of Medicine. She was also on staff at Huntsville Hospital.
Her memberships included the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama and the Madison County Medical Society. She was treasurer of the Tennessee Valley Branch of the Alabama Academy of Family Physicians.
She is survived by her parents, Cecil and Linda Cassity of Huntsville; two sisters, Ginger Kirsopp of New Hope and Kelly Daniels of Mobile; and her maternal grandmother, Josephine Turrittin of Mobile.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville. Services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday at Whitesburg Baptist Church. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Pine Crest West Cemetery.

Benjamin S. Stover
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday for Benjamin S. Stover, a retired insurance underwriter who lived in the Mobile area for a number of years.
Stover, 85, died Sept. 15 in an Annandale, Va., nursing home. Burial was in Quantico National Cemetery.
A native of Lewisville, Texas, Stover served as a Navy Reserve lieutenant commander during World War II. He worked for insurance companies in Chicago and Mobile and retired two years ago to Alexandria, Va., where he was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Raphaele Stover of Alexandria, Va.; four children, Angela Anderson and Benjamin Stover II of Alexandria, James Stover of Plano, Texas and Daniel Stover of Mobile; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Demaine Funeral Home in Alexandria.

Glenn N. Norton
Glenn N. "Woody" Norton, who had served in the U.S. Marine Corps, died Monday at a local hospital. He was 69.
Norton was a native of Lansing, Mich., and a resident of Mobile for the past 10 years.
He was a member of the Spanish Fort Assembly of God Church and Toulmin Lodge No. 875 F&AM.; He was a 33rd Degree Mason.
Survivors include two sons, Donald O. Norton of Lucedale, Miss., and Dan Allen Norton of Tennessee; and a grandson.
Memorial services will take place at a later date. Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street in handling arrangements.

J. J. Osborne II
Jimmie Jerald "Jerry" Osborne II, who had worked as a security guard for the Mobile Greyhound Park, died Sunday in a traffic accident. He was 25.
Osborne, a native of Mobile, was a resident of Saraland. He graduated from LeFlore High School in 1993.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmie and Teresa Osborne; and three sisters, Patricia Blackmon, Kayla Marie Blackmon and Katheryn Elizabeth Blackmon, all of Saraland; and his grandfather, Guy R. Jackson Sr. of Mount Vernon.
Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Cecilia Cemetery in Mount Vernon, with Freeman Funeral Home of Citronelle in charge.
