Richard Alan "Rap" Philips, a native and resident of Mobile, died Saturday after a lengthy illness. He was 38.
Survivors include his mother, Velma D. Philips, and his sister, Linda Carol Philips, both of Mobile.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 tonight at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, where services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Dawes Cemetery.

Paula J. Richardson
Paula Jean Richardson, a retired caregiver, died Sunday at a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 42.
Mrs. Richardson was a native and resident of Axis, where she was a member of St. Andrew's Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Darryl Richardson of Axis; and a sister, JoAnn Franks of Mobile.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Services are scheduled for noon Wednesday at St. Andrew's Chapel. Burial will be in Creola Cemetery.

Mary F. Taylor
Mary F. Taylor, a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church, died Saturday in a local hospital.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Haleyville, Ala., and a resident of Mobile.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette T. Rounsaville of Dauphin Island and Linda Ward of Mobile; a sister, Clara Thompson of Guntersville, Ala.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services took place Monday at Christ United Methodist Church with burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home directing.
Memorials may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church Building Fund.

William T. Capps Jr.
PENSACOLA - William Thomas Capps Jr., a native and resident of Mobile, died Sunday in a Pensacola hospital. He was 56.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred M. Capps of Pensacola; a daughter, Stacey Louis Capps of Westminster, Colo.; and a sister, Marilyn Coker of Citronelle.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Wolfe Funeral Home in Fairhope. No services are planned.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or a favorite charity.

George M. Harbin
WINFIELD, Ala. - George Morris Harbin died Monday at his home. He was 79.
Survivors include four sons, Alton Harbin of Tuscaloosa, Dairell Harbin and Dennis Harbin, both of Northport, Ala., and Steve Harbin of Semmes; a daughter, Lana Kay Jones of Fort Hood, Texas; a brother, L.E. "Ed" Harbin of Winfield; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Miles Funeral Home in Winfield. Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Winfield City Cemetery.

James W. Ziglar
DAVISVILLE, Fla. - James Walter Ziglar, a native of Escambia County, Ala., and resident of Davisville, died Sunday at a Pensacola hospital. He was 83.
Ziglar retired from St. Regis "Champion" Paper Mill. He was a member of Pine Barren Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Leo Dunson Ziglar of Davisville; a son, Dwight Ziglar of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Winifred Ziglar Hollingsworth of Tallahassee, Fla.; four stepdaughters, Del Freeman of Orlando, Fla., Mary Dunson and Robbie Dunson, both of Winter Haven, Fla., and Donna Dunson of Atlanta; three sisters, Alma Grimes of Walnut Hill, Fla., Amanda Godwin and Lillie Bell Milstead, both of Oak Grove; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore, Ala., where services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Serenity Gardens.

Rachel C. Anglin
Rachel C. Anglin, a native of George County, Miss., and longtime resident of Mobile, died Saturday at a local hospital. She was 79.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Richard E. Anglin Sr.; a daughter, Patricia Anglin; a son, Richard E. Anglin Jr.; and a sister, Cleola Seignous, all of Mobile; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 7 at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial at 3 p.m. Thursday at Pine Crest Cemetery.
