Roy E. Guthrie
Roy E. Guthrie, a native of Jefferson County and longtime resident of Chickasaw, died Wednesday at a local hospital. He was 69.
Survivors include his children, Linda Weaver and Cindy Parson, both of McCalla, Ala., and Rosemarie Seeley of Chickasaw; a sister, Geraldine Cook of Pace, Fla.; a brother, George Guthrie of Beardstown, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at noon today at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with graveside services at 1 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

James McCormick Sr.
James "Mac" Arthur McCormick Sr., a retiree of Military Reserve No. 226 Field Depot, died Tuesday at a local hospital. He was 67.
McCormick was a lifelong resident of the Mobile area. He attended Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Louise Brown McCormick of Semmes; a daughter, Sheryl M. Stokes of Wilmer; a son, James Arthur McCormick Jr. of Mobile; his mother, Marguerite Arns McCormick; four brothers, Joseph Daniel McCormick Jr., Edward G. McCormick, Paul O. McCormick and Robert Daniel McCormick; and three grandchildren.
Service are set for 11 a.m. today at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Brandon M. Newberry
Brandon Michael Newberry, a newborn, died Tuesday morning at a local hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Tina Newberry; his grandfather, Thomas H. Newberry Jr.; and his great-grandparents, Doris and Thomas H. Newberry Sr., and Grace Johnson.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with graveside services at 2 p.m. in Serenity Memorial Gardens.

William R. Emrich
INDIO, Calif. - William R. Emrich, a Mobile native and a resident of Indio, Calif., died Saturday at his home. He was 70.
Emrich, a Navy veteran, was a former cryptographer with the State Department and was stationed in Rome, Italy.
He had been a counselor at Mission of Hope in Mobile. He was also an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his sister, Evelyn Perry.
A memorial service is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne.

Victor Carroll:
A native of Kenton, TN and a resident of Mobile died Wednesday, November 17, 1999. Mr. Carroll was a veteran of the US Army and was a sales manager in the auto industry for many years. Donnie Lynxwiler Harbaugh:
A native of Marysville, Kansas and a longtime resident of Mobile died on Mon day, November 15, 1999 at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville P. Harbaugh of Mobile and her father and mother, Burnell and Myrtle Lynxwiler of Marysville, Kansas. She is survived by two stepchildren, Dr. Paige Harbaugh and Aaron Harbaugh; two daughters-in-law, Dr. Tara Wah and Celeste Harbaugh; four grandchildren, Ian, Britni, Jacque and Sara Harbaugh. Survivors also include, aunts, Fern Barker and Delora Young; an uncle, Bill Lynxwiler; lifelong friends, Patricia Rodgers, Jerry and Janet Rogers, Gloria Turner and Bill and Bettye Carpenter. The family and friends particularly appreciate and wish to recognize the warm, loving care provided by many caregivers, especially, Joan Parnell and Carmen Hill. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 1999 at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Three Notch Road. The family will receive visitors at Donnie's home immediately after the services. Mr. Thomas Patrick McArdle, Jr:
A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died on Thursday, November 18, 1999. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, member of the Little Flower Golden Age Club, Buccaneer Yacht Club, American Legion, and WWII Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hall McArdle. Survived by brother, Msgr. Joseph G. McArdle of Mobile, AL; sister-in-law, Anne H. Hall of Mobile, AL; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 20, 1999 from Little Flower Catholic Church at 2:00 P.M. Funeral services were held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Friday, November 19, 1999 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Ed Beachum and Rev. John Aherne and Rev. Monsignor Joseph Jennings officiating. Pallbearers were Adam Brunson, Dennis Levene, Robert Worley, David White, Tom McCormick and Mat McCormick. Full military honors were conducted at the gravesite by VFW post #49. Interment was in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Kathryn Anne Randall:
A native of Mobile, AL and a resident of S. Orange, NJ died Tuesday, November 16, 1999. Ms. Randall was born October 1, 1957. She was 42 at the time of her death. Ms . Randall was the Vice President of Communications with Prudential Insurance at their headquarters in Newark, NJ. Before moving to New Jersey, Ms. Randall was Communication Director of Prudential Bank and Trust in Atlanta, GA. She attended St. Ignatius, was a 1975 graduate of Julius T. Wright Preparatory School, and also a graduate of American University, Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her father, George W. Randall. She is survived by her mother, Jane McGarry Randall of S. Orange, NJ; two sisters, Jane Randall Leonard and Peggy (Ken) Rosenberg, all of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Robert (Pat) Randall, Point Clear, AL; nephews, Daniel (Lee) Rosenberg, Chicago, IL and Mac Randall, Point Clear; nieces, Megan Rosenberg, St. Louis, MO, Meredith Randall and Anne Randall, both of Point Clear. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 20, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Rev. Gordon Milstead celebrating.
